Need new glasses I ordered blueberry pancakes. Came fast. She did outstanding job. Touch backs right on time. Very friendly and professional. Very pleasant. Always had a smile. I LOVE THIS LOCATION because of CODY... To see him at WORK I only want to seat in his section. His customer service is A 1 and perfect for IHop standards. His attention to detail is phenomenal. He is an active listener. IHOP was suppose to get him on the TEAM. When we first came in Dana I guess the manager was not in the front and so we waited at least 10 minutes before I went to find someone which was Cody to help seat us. Then when he sat us down, she still had not acknowledged us or greeted us. She was on the phone the entire time and just walked around. She never walked to greet or check on any customer within the establishment. Very poor management skills. I would have never knew she was a manager until I asked who she was. Interpersonal skills not there at all. Cami (THE HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTESS) she has the best attitude, very personal with everyone she saw in the store, walked around and spoke to everyone, checked and made sure everyone had what they needed. She is a REAL TEAM PLAYER. The food was ok, not hot, I was missing avocados from my omelet but I didn't say anything. Absolutely the worst IHOP I've ever been in my life old grease everything fried was grey ! I've been here once for late breakfast, once for take out and recently had delivery. The first time I was there was around 10AM. By that time the morning crowd has just about dissipated. Service and food were food, nothing spectacular, just your usual topnotch iHop. They didn't skimp on anything. My cupcake pancake looked better in real life than in the menu photo! On another day, I did my take out it was around lunchtime. I could feel they were busy so I decided to just pay for lunch and eat it at home. I ordered what I believe is an omelette and 3pc harvest grain and nut pancakes. Instead of telling me that the omelette comes with pancakes, they didn't. Minutes after I paid, I was told my choice of pancake was not available, would I like something else? I said whatever you have, thinking they would get me something closely priced. But they gave me their cheapest pancake, the buttermilk pancake. No complaints there but remember my omelette already had buttermilk pancakes. There I was on my way home with 6 buttermilk pancakes! Tonight I had delivery made and my tip is to check their facebook and other social media accounts of discount codes. I was able to get 20% off from my order. Food was delivered in time and it was a better experience. I indicated in my online order that I wanted the delivery guy to knock and leave the food by the door. Instructions were followed! I would give zero star if it was an option. First of all ... Service was awful. The waitress had trouble taking our order. I knew this was a bad sign. My granddaughter ordered Eggs Benedict and I ordered a bacon omelette. Both comes with pancakes. She ordered a side of hash browns. We also ordered mozzarella sticks to come ASAP before entrees. There were 2 other tables with people seated, in the entire place. Our staggers something.... Not sure what 45 min later. My granddaughter has what looks like soft boiled eggs laid up soft English muffins. Two of these. No hollandaise sauce. My omelette is cool to touch. No pancakes. I send hers back. After about 10 min, I walk inside the kitchen door and see her plate sitting on a counter among plates of food. I asked if that is my granddaughters and our waitress says yes. I tell her to not bring that same plate back to my granddaughter. Another 10 min, and our she comes. I ask her is this same plate if eggs that has sit out and folks have reached across, and has been heated up in the microwave. She nods her head yes. I almost snapped!!! I asked for the manager. I told her everything about our wonderful experience thus far. I ask if we can just leave. Our appetite is gone anyway. She said she'd like to try to fix or food to please us. Ok.. I said. After about 10-15 min, our comes something that resembled eggs Benedict but was totalled inedible. Nasty!!! My granddaughter took one bite and spit it out. The bacon on and in my omelette was burned BLACK. And the manager handed this to me. I'm not wasting my breath to complain again. But, will never ever eat at this trashy place again. My husband reminded me when I got home how bad it was the last time we were there. It has truly gone to hell in a hand basket!!! If you are reading this, thinking about going to this place to eat... I recently traveled to Albany to visit a friend so she said let's have breakfast. we went to IHOP. I've seen the place on the end of the shopping plaza but never thought about actually going there for breakfast. The restaurant was not crowded yet that morning. That was a good thing. We were seated by the windows in the back which was cool. The only thing is it was freezing in there that morning however it prompted me to order some hot chocolate. The server brought us coffee and hot chocolate pretty quickly and we ordered. Bless her heart I don't remember her name but she was super attentive, pleasant and friendly. We ordered the Big Steak Omelette. It was so so good, and huge. So much food I definitely couldn't eat it all and I never really touched my hash browns because I was full. I never had to ask for more water or a re-fill. It was a great spot. No complaints. Restroom was also very clean. read more

This place is honestly pretty awful. I will just say that I received a BLT again that was very sub par. Let me tell you my expectations for a BLT: I like a sandwich with just the right amount of bread-to-filling ratio. Bread is possibly one of the most important parts simply because of texture. I like a lot of bacon. You just about can't give too much bacon, but you can surely give too little. You can also under cook or burn bacon -- which would be an issue with me. Finally, the tomato needs to be juicy and preferably even stacked over one another and going off the side. I want mayonnaise on both pieces of bread. The lettuce is the least important to me, but if you're going to have it I don't want it to be overpowering. I don't mind it for a little crunch and texture. IHOP clearly has philosophical differences on BLT's with me. The extra piece of bread on the sandwich just makes it even more dry. It had such a small SLICE of tomato on it that I thought it had none this time around. I have received one without a tomato at all before here and the lady thought that it was acceptable for some reason. This time I pointed out that I did not really receive much tomato for a BLT, so she brought me two more that were not very appetizing and charged me a dollar (and did not advise me of this). These tomatoes are probably kept in the fridge. They are not juicy. They aren't even flavorful. The toast is super dry. The sandwich just sucked. The rest of the food was equally bad. read more

Went to have a burger there since I have been seeing the ads recently about the new ones added to the menu. Was a little concerned when there was only one car in the parking lot at 7pm. Was greeted nicely as normal and sat. Waiter came and took our drink order. Very friendly and courtoius. Drinks came out quickly. Place order for meal along with an appetizer. Seems we waited for quite some time and our waiter returned saying only one cook tonight and it was taking awhile. Some 20 minutes later our burgers arrived. No appetizer. Asked about the appetizer and our waiter stated about 2 minutes more. Well we finished our meal and out comes the appetizer. The burgers were very good. My typical Saturday starts with ordering the family brunch from Eggs Up, today their phone was busy for over 10 minutes so I decided to try the online ordering from IHOP today. Ordering was very easy and even got a $5 off coupon, very nice. My daughter picked up our food that was ready when she got there but when she returned we realized none of our sides of pancakes were in bag. The manager was very nice and offered me a credit, since I live 20 min away. My husband ended up stopping to get them on his way home, they have tons of extra for the inconvenience. I went there for breakfast. Honestly, I was very skeptical after reading all low star reviews. The service was great! My server was very fast and extremely friendly. Food came fast as well. Breakfast was just as I ordered, with an exception of Swedish crepes. They were on a thicker side, and the butter that came with it was very chunky and not well blended with the berries. I used to eat here very regularly. When I say I loved it, I did. After the manager (a very nice, understanding man) retired. The place went to Hell. I am very very disappointed. I have given IHOP several (probably 5-6) times to do better. But last night was the icing on the cake. I'm not sure if they are extremely short staffed? But it is ALL THE TIME! A man from I assume the kitchen was taking drink orders and sitting people. There were like 2 or 3 waitresses. Our waitress was very nice but very over whelmed. I asked for pancakes for an hour. She brought the check. AND NO PANCAKES. I got the toast I ordered almost an hour after our food. She came to our table maybe 4 times the entire time we were there. Didn't ask to see how our food was until we were almost finished. I got one refill the entire time. They had just washed the syrup containers and they were FULL OF WATER!!! They dripped water then the syrup was like 50% syrup 50% water. I post this in hopes they will fix their act. But I know I'm my heart the only person who cared about the restaurant retired about a year and a half ago. Most of the good employees left with him. So, all in all. I would say do not eat here.
