Wow the costs have gone up considerably. Don't take it personally please, as it's everywhere now. Food is decent but not spectacular. I prefer the French toast over the pancakes. Both are still good. Coffee seems and it is a perception, not as strong as used to be. I used to note a distinct kick in the pants after IHOP coffee. It is still tasty. Am not enthralled by the lunch or dinner menu. Breakfast is where it's at. This is a good place for friends to get together. Comfortable seating and good service. Applause for the cleanliness here. Went on a Wednesday for the half price. I order the Fishman platter, which consist of shrimp, some strange shape fish and french fries. First there is a requirement to order a drink in order to get the meal at a half price. I find this strange since I prefer to have water with my meal instead of a soda or lemonade beverage. Is this requirement to get more money. I found everything on the Fishman platter to be quest, and taste like the oil that it was cooked in was not fresh.yuck. The service of this place is horrible, the hispanic server older lady, gave us an attitude thinking we wouldnt tip because we look young. She told us they didnt have the 9$ promo meal which they did when i asked for a manager. Also she charged me a sampler appetizer for 15$ when all i asked for was a side of onion rings which is 5$. We were seated right away and had prompt and courteous service throughout our meal. The interior of this location doesn't look like others, so it may be new or remodeled. We walked in and I took the front desk hostess took 15 minutes to greet us, understandably she was on the phone with a client but when she greeted us, she was looking at her computer screen and mumbled under her breath "hi, table for two people." She then rambled on her walkie talkie for an order, then came to greet us at the booth, she then said "what's your name and number" and "it will be a 15 minute wait, we will call you when a table is ready." We then proceed to wait in the car for about 25 minutes then we came and I asked "how much longer?" There were people who were after us and they were about to be seated, the waitress came up and ask table for 3, and then the hostess said "oh, it's them." The only reason it's 3 star is because my waitress was super fast and sweet but she seemed to forget about us towards the end. I had to ask a different hostess for the bill. Now the food, I ordered, country fried steak and T-bone steak. The T-bone steak was okay. It was well done which we liked but it tasted normal, like any other steak, the country fried steak was amazing! It took me back to my childhood memories. Used their much touted app to order a delivery order and it switched to pickup. I called store to either switch to delivery or refund and was told "policy" says you have to go through corporate who is not open on weekends. So, $20 lost on my card because they cannot be flexible. I got a big steak omelette with hash browns ($12.79), two pork sausage links ($1.99), and a 30-oz. Pepsi ($3.00). The sales tax was $1.07, the delivery fee was $4.49, the service fee was $2.67, and the tip for the driver was $5.20. All of the ingredients were fresh and tasty, and the meal arrived hot. Went into this location and was seated right away. Not busy maybe 15-16 patrons. So I'm with my 6yr old Granddaughter we are hungry hadn't had anything to eat. So we're sitting there, I'm looking for a server to come any minute after 5 minutes. A young man kept walking back & forth not saying anything, it was only myself and my grand daughter, one couple(already eating), and a table with a family of 4. So another 10 minutes goes by and still nothing. Still this same guy kept walking past us!!! I really felt like he didn't want to wait on us because his other 2 tables were of Caucasian patrons. I got up and told someone at the front that we had been sitting there and this server kept passing by & I we were leaving for IHOP down the road. I have only been to IHOP three times in my life, and I think this visit assures that I wont make it four visits anytime soon. Now, I have to be fair and state that I'm not a pancake fan which is why I opted for IHOP's version of a Southwestern Omelette. This move was an egg disaster of epic proportions, and I soon found myself sick for a good four hours. I suspect this was due to a ton of undercooked potatoes loaded within the omlette...That's right, Breakfast Fans, I said in the omlette and not on the side. When I called to let them know and ask for my order to be remade I was met with a nasty "'manager" Yadira who lacked empathy or basic customer service skills. She kept repeated that it's only the grits that were messed up like they weren't apart of the meal, and I had to drive back over to get them remade. After speaking about me to the other workers in Spanish and all of them laughing she came back with more grits and remained constant with her lack of empathy. If she is truly a manager they need to seriously rethink her position, and they also need to consider quality control training on employees as well as customer service. Okay, so I love IHOP. Simple as that. You might even say that it's my favorite restaurant. I have been to this location many, many times, and I have a great experience each time. Some of the staff know us now. My twin sister and I went again last weekend, I believe it was, and Myles--one of the guys that works there--said something like, "Hey, it's the twins!" I've tried many of the different pancake and french toast options, as well as some of the crepes. My twin usually gets the belgian waffles, and they are tasty, too. I asked for eggs for medium and received eggs over medium. Runny yoke, no runny white. I really appreciate this be properly done. Surprisingly a lot of places only know over easy and over hard. Coffee is a bit weak, but I like SUPER strong so it makes sense they aim to please the majority. Crepes were pretty good. Hash browns were horrible. They use dehydrated pre-shredded potatoes, rehydrate them and grill them. A lot healthier than deep fried, but tastes horrible. I prefer deep fried potatoes thank you very much. Bacon was amazing.
