Worst treatment, I've ever received from an Food establishment. My girls and I, went to IHOP after a lengthy day of doctor visits "fasting"...we were starving. We walked in, greeted...there was maybe no more than 7 customers in the restaurant. Everyone one was fawning over the other customers. 28 minutes passed us by, not one person offered to take our drinks. Or remotely checked on us. Clearly heated at this point, I told my girls. That we would need to go somewhere else. And I'm guessing a server caught ear and yelled loudly over the restaurant and said "THEY'RE LEAVING" as in, we're leaving without paying. Clearly trying to keep my composure, with my two young children. My response was "YES, we are leaving it's been 28 minutes without anyone checking on us"...did you want us to pay for a service. Clearly ZERO SERVICE, cost us ZERO money. We then walked out to our car. And even with being labeled "a thief" not one of them had the galls to come out and try to remedy the situation. I then called the "manager" and she offered us to place a Togo order or come back for a "dining experience on them" well, we received her voucher for 2 meals, no steaks. So there it is, it's like saying we apologize for labeling you a thief. But there's a monetary limit to our apology. I haven't even used the voucher. And don't plan to, they've just lost my business & respect. read more

We waited forever for our food. People that arrived after us were getting their food before us... We had out two little girls with us. They were getting impatient very quickly. We all had pancake based meals. The food was edible but my husband's pancakes were almost burnt. The waitress/waiter each time we have went has been amazing. The kitchen needs some work. First time I went to this location was within the first week it opened. Waited about an hour to be seated, took another 20 minutes to take my drink order, waited another 15 to take my actual order (still didn't receive our drinks yet though), then almost an hour later (wasn't until we were getting up to walk out) did our food come, just to realize the food was COLD! They offered to remake it, we turned it down as we just wanted to leave at this point. The manager at the time gave me a business card with writing on the back promising me a free meal on my next visit. Fast forward to today (several months later)... Took about 20 minutes to be seated, another 45 minutes to get food, then the food we received wasn't the way we ordered it. I ordered my bacon crispy, it was very chewy. My friend couldn't even cut through his pancakes or french toast... even with knife he was having trouble. Safe to say I will not be returning to this location. Stay away !! from ihop in Bethlehem, Ga Not only did a simple order take over 30 minutes, but we caught the MANAGER taking pictures with my young granddaughter in them. I questioned him and he denied it, saying he was taking pics of the restaurant. I would give it 0, but there wasn't that choice. The service took forever, but hardly anyone in restaurant. Probably why they were all standing at the register. The food came for everyone, but mine. I ordered over medium eggs. The waitress said they cooked them wrong and sent it back. She brought them back over cooked instead. We were clearly invisible. This is our third visit to this location. The first being the day it opened and the service was awesome. The second time I thought maybe just an off day for them. - I came here with a friend on a Tuesday to catch an early dinner. One of the fruity drinks that I got was not mixed correctly. It tasted like carbonated soda. I tell the waiter and he argued saying there was nothing that can be done about it since I ordered the drink... The manager comes by to chat with customers and we tell her our situation and she goes "actually, our Sprite syrup is down. He probably didn't know." I had to ask for straws twice. Food was good though, it came to the table really quick. I'll give this particular IHOP restaurant the benefit of the doubt because it's fairly new, but it was a pretty bad experience. Restaurant was less than 40% full on a Tuesday night. -Food was brought out cold. -Servings were significantly smaller than what I've experienced at other locations. -The butter that the food was floating in was plentiful, though. -Server misunderstood my order x 2 and indicated that I "told her" otherwise. -Server disappeared and I had to go find my own condiments. Service was very slow. Food took a long time to get to our table. I ordered the turkey platter. The gravy and corn were cold. When I was finally able to track down my server (there were only four occupied tables) she was very polite and promised to bring replacement gravy and corn. While waiting for the replacements, we could hear the staff having a great time in the kitchen. When the time the replacements arrived, I was already done eating. Horrible service ! Waited for 17 minutes before anyone waitress walked up to and asked what we'd like to drink. I had already walked up to the front and asked for a supervisor, and they never came out. I asked the waitress for the supervisor to take our order and stated that they're were the " cooks and were currently on the line cooking " they finally took my family's drink and breakfast order. Well I hope they aren't really changing their name to IHOB, because the burgers were nothing to brag about. The meat was not seasoned and my "medium" cook looked like a medium-well. The 2 cowboy burgers we ordered (with BBQ sauce & onion rings) came without any onion rings and barely a squirt of sauce. After we questioned our server, she said they were out of onion rings (it's only noon) and she made no apologies. She offered another side to replace. The "Fresh fruit" looked like a mixed fruit out of a can-gross! She offered a plate of fries since there were no onion rings. Then they happened to find 2 dinky onion rings and brought those out (instead of the fries). We asked for extra BBQ sauce and she brought the bottle. We complained and the manager came out with a plate of fresh fries. We told her that the burgers here were nothing to brag about. And they are not really changing their name, by the way. She said they found the 2 little onion rings back in the corner (not sure what that means). WE WILL NOT BE BACK!! read more

After a failed attempt for lunch at Applebee's we went next door to IHOP. Another mistake. Only 4 tables occupied at lunch time should have told us something, but we sat down. We each ordered an entre and waited for our meals. When the waitress served my meal half was missing. When I questioned her about it, she said she thought something was missing and that she would get them. Five minutes later she brought one of the missing items, and again I had to ask about the other, which she said she would get. I was almost finished eating by the time the rest of my meal arrived. My husband also had the wrong entre served to him. When questioned, the waitress said the new manager was having to cook, and did not know what went with each meal. Me and my husband decided to have dinner at IHOP because he wanted some pancakes. We went on Friday at 8:20pm 6/21/19. They sat his down and the greeter was super nice. We notice there was only 2 table occupied in the whole restaurant so we thought we came in a good day because they aren't busy. Then it went sideways. No server ever approached us and ask what we would like to drink. We waited for 35 minutes and nobody still came. Me and my husband just walked up and left. We notice there was many workers that night, mostly girls just standing around in the front desk. What is ihop paying these girls for?? To gossip and just walk around? We were Very disappointed. We were a little hesitant to try this IHOP because of the poor reviews, but we finally did and the reviews were very wrong! Maybe they have had some changes recently or something, but everyone was super friendly and the service was great. Our waitress Tina promptly got our drink and food orders and the food came out quickly and was really good. I got crapes and my husband got French toast. Another fine eating establishment in Barrow already ruined. Nothing ever seems to stay nice in Winder/Barrow. Just goes down the toilet like the county and cities themselves. Went last evening, wasn't very busy. Was seated promptly... and that was it. That was the only time a staff member was even near our table. The food is good and the wait staff is too. The problem is it is really expensive to eat here. There are no choices for people who do not want to eat a mountain of food. If you would add smaller portion meals for less money I would eat here much more often and also give 5 stars. read more

Watched several servers take care of the mere 5 or 6 seated tables, and expected to be waited on quite quickly, but clearly our business was not important enough for their attention. I will never eat at this location every again. I was so disappointed in the way me and my husband were treated, and the fact that we sat there for 10 minutes without even getting our drink order taken it's just sad. I'm posting this a little late because my friends said they got take out earlier today and when they got home they didn't get anything right on there order, it was cold and the bun for her chicken sandwich was moldy. They called up there and supposedly talked to a manger and she said the manager was so rude and was snappy with her. She said she wasnt looking for a free meal or anything but just wanted to let them know that for what they paid for all the food they ordered was not worth it. And the fact that you could tell the bread was moldy and you still used it just shows a lot about who you have cooking, making, and serving your food. Nasty. read more

This location seriously needs new management. It is the worst IHOP I have ever been too. It's News Years day around 11am. They have 3 servers and 1 cook and the rudest hostess at the door. And this is not a one time occurrence, it's an everyday occurrence. But today, the hostess, who was pregnant , because I didn't get her name, was so rude to guest. Then left the front and went outside to smoke, while people were waiting to put their name on the wait list. Then she comes back and completely ignores everyone standing there, and goes somewhere else. She yelled at a couple of customers. Sorry they were short handed, but they should have closed till they could have got more help. We left and went to the Loganville location that hat at least 7 servers and 4 or more cooks and a wonderful host who had an awesome personality. I have NEVER experienced such a HORRIBLE overall dining experience like I did just now at this IHOP. Upon arriving, there were a lot of people waiting outside and the parking lot didn't seem to be even half full. Upon walking inside to see about the wait, I saw SEVERAL open tables and booths but when I asked how long.. the hostess proceeded to actually throw her hands up in the air to say idk! maybe 20 minutes. Unprofessional and rude. We decided to let that go and wait..we waited about 25 minutes. And I have to say the point of sitting down was the worst part of all of it. Our drink order was taken quick but took about 10 minutes to actually get them. Please keep in mind there were SEVERAL tables and booths open. My water tasted like chlorine, so I asked to switch to sprite which also just tasted weird. I also asked for a straw, never got one had to ask another server. Took another good while to get a food order in and another LONG while to get our food. The cheese in my omelette wasn't melted like at all, I didn't get the sauce it was supposed to come with either, burnt pancakes when my mom asked for them LIGHT, no extra butter(which we asked for again when the food arrived, she still didn't bring it, once again having to ask ANOTHER SERVER and by the time we did get the butter the pancakes were too cold to even melt the butter) after our food being brought and after her not brining anything we asked for twice,she didn't stop at our table even once to get refills or anything or apologize. Not one refill in the entire almost 2 hours we were there!!!!! It also took about 10-15 mins of being done with our mediocre food to even be asked if we wanted our check. I am not the kind of person to bash a server or restaurant for mistakes being made, but this was far more than that, this was horrible and unprofessional. And so bad that I went to the point of notating on my ticket why it was so bad and I have never felt compelled to do so. And might I add, We were very excited about a IHOP being close by, but we definitely won't be back. Stopped into IHOP last night on a whim since they've recently opened next to Applebee's on Carl Bethlehem Rd. Website says on Fri/Sat they are open 24hrs... hmmm. We arrived shortly after midnight, were seated right away. There were maybe 10 other diners across several tables. The place was clean, except it was obvious that the wait staff was refilling sugar packets and syrup containers as they were all scattered across tables mid-fill. The hostess seated us and three.... yes, three different waitresses came by to take our drink order. Emily was our waitress and she was friendly and sociable. We ordered our food (I had the Split Decision and my hubby ordered a combo with a bowl of grits). Our food seemed to come reasonably quickly and was very good. Emily came back to check on us and get refills though it seemed like she may have had to go way up front to refill our sodas, or it may have been that I was just especially thirsty, not sure which though. Overall, timing is everything. We got in at an 'off' time, got a fresh faced server just coming on shift and everything was spot on. We will likely come back, hopefully when its just as quiet and the food just as good. We are SO looking forward to not having to go to Loganville for our 5 year old grandson's pancake fix. My husband and I went and was told about a 15 minute wait. 45 minutes later, they called our name. We got up and proceeded inside to be told that we didn't answer and they took someone else in our place. Uh, ok...not! They did immediately get us a table, but as we were taken to the table I noticed about 15 empty tables in the restaurant? We waited alomst an hour to be sat in a near empty restaurant? Ok, we have a table now so let's eat. Server finally shows up and gets our order, never to be seen again. Our food takes longer than.it should in an almost empty restaurant and a new server emerges. I am a very patient person when it comes to restaurants, but this place needs management! Never once did i see anyone that resembled a manager. It was awful. The food was luke warm at best, service was non existent and we never even received an "I'm sorry". I will not be back. read more
