I asked to order dessert while we were halfway through the meal and she didn't get to us till the end of the meal. Then we had to wait some time to get the dessert waffle. We took it home. Sadly, we ordered the peaches and cream waffle, and it was missing the whipped cream, it only had peaches on half of it and there was no cream cheese, filling or almonds. They have street parking in the front and a small parking lot in the back of the restaurant. We came here for new year's brunch and beat the traffic since we got here right when they opened. I have been a customer since almost the beginning. Over the last two visits the food has gone way downhill. An example of our most recent breakfast visit. Two orders of over medium eggs were over well. My eggs had egg shells in both eggs. The manager took care of that. The gravy for the biscuit and gravy was almost nonexistent. We asked for more and we were given a small ramikin for an extra 2.50. The coffee was not good. We went to Night Sky afterwards for a good cup of coffee. For 63.00 for four people there are much better breakfast spot within 15-20 minutes away or go to Dairy Queen they are on point with eggs and gravy. read more

I had a delicious Saturday brunch here. The restaurant is not large and most tables were occupied but I was seated as soon as the two young hostesses decided where to put me. I ordered a savory crepe, Sans Viande, that was filled with mushrooms, spinach, and cheese, and topped with the Napoli sauce (that was almost a tomato basil soup). The crepe was served with a little microgreen salad. I also ordered a side of plain grits. The restaurant offers a menu of cocktails but I did not try those. Everything went well with my meal and although very busy and not much room between tables, it was a pleasant place to spend time. I especially liked the sunburst shaped light fixtures hanging from the ceiling. The only negatives were that the grits seemed to have been forgotten and I had to ask for them again partway through my meal, and the disorganized hostesses who kept me standing at the door while they argued about what table to use. The menu is more limited at this location, but we ordered a panini, a lobster & shrimp crepe, and some another sandwich for our meals. The espresso martini, unfortunately, missed the mark. It was grainy, and the microfoam was neither micro nor velvety. Out of everything, the lobster & shrimp crepe stood out as the best, but we did find ourselves questioning how much actual lobster was in that $18 crepe. Portion sizes were just enough, though we did end up having to take some to-go. (We accidentally left our to-go boxes behind, but honestly, we didn't feel the need to turn back -- iykyk.) We came to lunch at 11am today (a Friday) and though it was packed we found a table! (Insert Happy dance ) The ambiance is clean, small but pretty welcoming. Our waitress Yer was AMAZING. Literally a killer gal that did the best and quiet frankly, everyone was awesome here. The food was absolutely amazing. The chicken panini, dumpling soup, smoothies and freshly squeezed OJ where the winners at our table. We just had to try it all!!! While passing through Winder for the first time in 2 or 3 years, we decided it was time for a late breakfast. I found LeGabrielle here on yelp and I was so glad I did! On the street parking was easy. When I hit the door I saw the place was full. My first thought was Oh no. We have to wait for a table. But there are plenty of tables in this cozy little place and we were seated right away. The decor is modern and clean looking. The space is bright and airy. Nice. There were 2 pages of menu plus a cocktail menu so you can certainly find something you love here. We ordered a shrimp and lobster crepe that was as good as it sounds. And I had a sandwich called Holy Moley which is what we in the south call chicken and waffles, but this sandwich was elevated to a new high with the addition of bacon, egg and two different cheeses. The waffle was really perfectly cooked and this "sandwich " had to be eaten with a knife and fork. And not only was the coffee delicious but I commented to my wife that even the water was clearly filtered. Cold and crisp. Flowers on every table, clean restroom, and great service. They were super busy, but we didn't have to wait long for a spot to dine; but you could definitely tell this was a new local favorite place to be. They stayed busy didn't make us feel rushed but they definitely were getting orders filled fast in order to get people fed and out to accommodate those waiting. I tried their classic breakfast and my husband had the chicken and waffles. Great experience! Our shrimp and lobster crêpe was delicious and then we had a berries and cream crêpe for dessert. Absolutely amazing! The downside was the wine was not cold and when I asked for a cold glass of wine, they put my wine glass in a cooler for 10 minutes and gave it back to me! Really need to think about chilling, the white wine. And they had no tonic water for a mixed drink. But other than that, the food was amazing and the service was very good! I was really looking forward to a crêperie experience. The front of house were very nice and accommodating. I know that I'm somewhat finicky, but there was not anything outstanding to order on the menu. I ended up with a croissant I expected at the very least French preserves- nope smuckers. Really disappointed. I carry my own teabags so I asked for hot water. I don't think I'm delusional when I expected a little pot of hot water; I was brought a mason jar of boiling water. Thank God, none of us were burned by this. I have zero desire to return . My sisters in-law loved their food. One of the sisters ordered the traditional breakfast she said the biscuit was so good. My other sister-in-law ordered an omelette. It looked really good and she said it was very good. Our server was kind but silly. Celebrating their First Birthday, Le Gabrielle is a gem of a restaurant in downtown Winder. This was our first time to treat ourselves to what they have to offer. Nestled in an historic street front location, the beautiful ambiance of the lighting and decor can make you feel like you're eating at a little bistro in Marseilles. We came for Sunday Brunch and were thrilled to see the wonderful menu choices. Laurie and Heather had mimosas to start, then had the chicken and waffles, along with the Le Gabrielle Breakfast Crepe and a side of potatoes. Everything was delicious, and the experience was fantastic. Jacie took fantastic care of us, and Luke, the Lead Server checked on us and made sure our experience met our expectations.
