If I could give this place ZERO stars I WOULD. My family of 4 were seated promptly and served our drinks. We ordered and began to wait for our food to come out. Other people were being seated around us (a group of 6) and their orders were made after ours. We saw a single man come in and he was served before anyone and that's fine. What upset us was the fact that the group that came in AFTER us was served ALL of their food before us. Waffles, pancakes, biscuits, bacon. The whole nine yards. After we looked at our server for an explanation to why we've waited almost 30+ minutes with no food, her answer was, "let me check on it". I took my son for lunch. We have been here a few times and it's always the same. Poor service. This last time was by far the worst. We were seated about 15 minutes before our waitress came to take our drink order. She got the drink order wrong. Then the food came out. The chicken was so over cooked the breading was dark brown, I chipped a tooth. The waitress never came back to check on us nor to refill our drinks. This has been a disappointing night so far. It seems that anything after 10 pm service goes downhill on a Friday or Saturday night 24 hour. Pros: Yea, I know. I went backwards this time. Our last visit in Canon City Colorado IHOP we asked the hostess for a booster seat for our toddler she said she would bring one nope it never happened! We finally get our drinks and order my hubby orders onion rings with his burger I ordered fries with my philly and I literally had 10 fries on my plate and I just left it alone but my husbands onion ring most were burnt and one that wasnt too bad he bit into it and there was a long hair fried into the batter! We wait and wait for the waiter to come back I tell him the onion rings are burnt and literally hairy so it takes 20 minutes to get new ones after we are already grossed out and the new ones come and they are battered little pieces of onions no onion rings! A friend and I went in yesterday for breakfast a little after 8am. The host said that all he had available was tables on the patio which wasn't ideal but we said ok. Now the problem is that there was 3 people behind (2 groups) so we got seated outside and I noticed that there was a customer at the register getting an order to go and there was no one else leaving at that moment from inside the restaurant. Odd thing is, we were first in line and the 2 groups behind us got seated inside the restaurant at 2 different tables. What the hell! I know I didn't stink as I had just taken a shower. Anyway, we didn't stay. The wind was blowing so we were having to hold our menus down and stay warm and no one else got seated on the patio. There are plenty of other good restaurant in the area but this was on our way out of town and would be an easy stop. Which I would have chosen a different place now but hind sight is 20/20. We are both locals from the area and I can't speak for my friend but I won't support this establishment anymore. I was very polite to them however it did not stop their cooks from threatening to knock me out. We come pretty often to this ihop in Canon City and are pleased with the food and service every time we come. We can always get seated quickly, the food is great and they service our tables quickly. The servers are pleasant and helpful and they are great with out little grandkids. I love the kids eat free and also the decorative way they display the food for kids. Our grandkids stay entertained throughout the meal and love the breakfast they get here. read more

This is probably the best IHOP we have been to and as Senior citizens we go to a lot of them for good food and value. Our waitress Jannae was such a delightful young lady. She answered all our questions and made suggestions on items we had not tried before. She was exuberant with all the tables she served. I just had to hug her as we left. Oh, and the food?
