Country fried steak, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes

IHOP - Cherry Hill: A Pancake Paradise That Still Delivers Walking into IHOP these days can feel like a gamble. Let's be honest--some locations have slipped so far, you half expect Gordon Ramsay to storm out of the kitchen screaming about raw pancakes. And after seeing the decline of places like the South Philly IHOP, where chaos reigns supreme and the vibe screams, "Are we sure we're safe here?", my expectations for the Cherry Hill location were...let's call it cautious at best. But Cherry Hill? Cherry Hill is doing something right. I rolled in at 10 AM on a weekday, a time you'd expect a chain diner to be half-empty and low-energy. Instead, it was packed. Not uncomfortably crowded, but alive with families, retirees, and a whole lot of happy breakfast energy. It's the kind of scene IHOP should be, and it felt like a step back in time to when this brand had its act together. Let's talk about the vibe. Safe. Friendly. Welcoming. This isn't one of those locations where you wonder if your pancakes are going to come with a side of drama. The Cherry Hill IHOP is clean, calm, and clearly well-managed. They've nailed the atmosphere, proving that when a restaurant prioritizes the customer experience, people show up--even on a random Tuesday morning. And the food? Look, it's IHOP. You know what you're getting: fluffy pancakes, perfectly cooked eggs, bacon that's somehow both crispy and chewy at the same time. It's breakfast exactly as it should be. Nothing groundbreaking, but that's not what you're here for. You're here because you woke up craving comfort food that tastes like nostalgia. And Cherry Hill delivers. The staff? Friendly, efficient, and refreshingly normal. No one was aggressively cheerful or trying to upsell me on extras I didn't want. They got my coffee filled and my order out in good time, and sometimes that's all you need to feel taken care of. And can we take a moment to celebrate a small but massive win? The syrups. They're back. The table had all the options--blueberry, strawberry, old-fashioned, and that buttery pecan that feels like a hug for your waffles. It's a small detail, sure, but during the pandemic, those syrup dispensers disappeared, and breakfast just wasn't the same. Seeing them again gave me a ridiculous amount of joy. The prices? Reasonable, as they've always been. You leave full without feeling like your wallet just got emptied. Bottom line: If you're looking for a solid IHOP experience, Cherry Hill is where it's at. It's proof that when a location cares about quality, customer service, and atmosphere, people notice. And while the chain as a whole might have seen better days, this IHOP gives me hope that the pancakes will keep flipping for years to come. Highly recommend.

Food was delicious Service was great The spot was great and beautiful and there was a very nice lady there who offered me a free lemonade because I was drinking mines before I left.

First and foremost: A SHOUT OUT TO MEL! Extremely accommodating, helpful, and patient waitress. She is the reason why I have to write this review. When me and my family were seated, she stops by within minutes and took our drinks. I wanted those splashberry drinks, but she kindly explain that they no longer carry those. I was like ok, not a problem. You know what makes it better? How the way she say it, she talks as if we were friends! That's very unusual these days... Her excellent service have win us over. We will continue to go to this IHOP for future visits. THANKS AGAIN MEL!!!

It's IHOP! Pancakes are always great, and the combinations are endless for the types and toppings. Great eggs, omelettes, and brunch items. The steak tips and eggs was better than expected. Service is always great and friendly.

When we were finally seated we had a great waitress who shared her recommendations. We landed on the Eggs Benedict and the $19 BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE FRENCH TOAST, which is baked cinnamon & vanilla custard-soaked brioche, butterscotch apples; topped with brown butter oat streusel & Philly whip. Unbelievable. The place was loud and popping on a Sunday around noon. Not intimate, but a fun post-church gathering of hungry souls. Haddonfield itself is a cute little town with what appeared to be a lot of cute dining spots. We will definitely make this our pit stop on future NY - DC sojourns!

The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was genuinely pleasant from the start. Julian, our server, greeted us promptly, got coffee on the table quickly, and kept everything moving smoothly. In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee. Pricing felt very reasonable for the area, and overall it was a good stop we would happily return to.

Mother's Day brunch at Sabrina's Café with my beautiful daughter We made sure to get there early…read morebecause if you know anything about this neighborhood gem, you know they don't take reservations. This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.

Our waitress seemed a bit flustered, but still very friendly and attentive. We ordered quickly and our food came out really fast. I got an omelette with salad greens. Everything seemed fresh and flavorful. I had zero issues with my food. One of my kids got the French toast with bacon and fruit and the other got a grilled cheese with fruit. Both kids liked the main meal but the fruit was on its way out. Lots of brown and squishy spots. Normally my kids could eat a pound of fruit each, but they both passed on it. My wife got a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. She really wanted fries, but they had none. What breakfast restaurant doesn't have French fries? We thought that was pretty strange. She said the sandwich was fine, but nothing spectacular. My parents shared eggs and potatoes and a pot of decaf. The potato consensus across the table was that they were not good. Too salty and not crispy enough. This was especially upsetting because of the lack of fries. Oh well. They also hated the coffee, but my parents only usually like McDonald's coffee. Boomers. What are you going to do. Everyone agreed we would not be back here, but for me, with the parking lot and satisfied kids, I wasn't too sad about the meal.

Apparently my pops has been there a few times because he remembered our server and he remembered my dad however, I don't think he did remember Pops but he made my dad feel like he remembered him and that is a good skill. The server was very helpful with picking items off the menu and all of his selections seemed to have been good. I liked mine but I probably won't get the waffle again but not because it wasn't good but I used to love waffles but I've moved on to french toast. That beet juice was interesting but tasted very healthy which doesn't mean it didn't taste good. It just wasn't sweet but it was good and it felt like it did something good for my system. We sat right outside of the kitchen so we did get to see all of the plates come out which is what I like to do so I can get inspired if I need some help finding something to eat but the server took care of that for us. I've been to another since and although the service and food was good, this guy was better.
