    Nashville hot chicken sandwich
    Joanne P.

I think I'm the only person not obsessed with this place. The store is cute and all but the menu isn't really my vibe. My traveling companions wanted to stop here on our drive back to New York and I was dying for a sandwich which they don't really have too many sandwich options and I didn't notice a 'lighter' menu either. They had a special with turkey stuffing and cranberry on a sandwich so I opted for that but unfortunately they were all out. I ended up with a fried chicken sandwich with Nashville hot sauce on the side and it was just ok. The fries were on point though-crispy and not greasy. Our server was very friendly and the bill was dirt cheap in comparison to most other times I've left the house! The gift shop definitely has some cute and unique chotchskys!

Retail store - this was a lot of fun to roam around in. I was more interested in the large assortment of snacks and candy. When I was browsing the candy areas, a nice lady who worked there offered me a basket, saying it was easier and a must so I could get all my candy lol. There is a lot to see (and buy!) They also have rocking chairs for sale in the front of the restaurant. Restaurant - huge, clean space. Our waitress was very nice. I ordered: - Granpa's Country Fried Breakfast (6 out of 10) - this was 2 eggs, 2 biscuits with sawmill gravy, choice of side (I chose the grits), and country fried steak with sawmill gravy (the other option was fried homestyle chicken): I really enjoyed the eggs (I got them over easy) and the grits. The biscuits were nice and fluffy (try them with BOTH the butter and syrup!) The country fried steak and sawmill gravy were okay. - Homestyle Chicken N' French Toast (8 out of 10) - this was three slices of French toast (came with a cute little bottle of natural syrup) with their fried homestyle chicken: the fried (boneless) chicken was freaking delicious. - Arnold Palmer - half lemonade, half tea - refreshing and not too sweet. - hush puppies: these were YUMMY! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.

I love cracker barrels. This one was no different. They have a great store with unique things whether it's candy or souvenirs. They have the rocking chairs and the store is first. You can get check in for a table to eat right by the entrance of the restaurant portion. It wasn't too busy and no wait when I was there but general rule is they can get busy for lunch. Our waitress wasn't too pleasant but the food was good and came out quickly. Breakfast all day! I always try to stop at Cracker Barrels when I can and hopefully I'll be back to this one.

There is nothing bad or even not good to say. I will say that our server was very cautious not to touch the food hanging off the plate when trying to maneuver it to the table which wasn't easy because of how the pancakes were put on the plate and the way he carried it out. The pancakes were perfectly crisp on the edges, just the way we all like it. I had to sub in a spicy chicken sausage and it was so so good. There is this plum sweet tea that is just the right amount of fruit and osse.

Came here as a stop from DC to NYC and glad we did. Great food (pictured are the Oreo cheesecake pancakes and the catfish with fried okra and mashed potatoes). We got seated right away and the restaurant itself was tidy. Tom was such a great waiter- he was very attentive and helpful. Thank you!

We are hungry can't wait to enjoy some delicious food!

When we were finally seated we had a great waitress who shared her recommendations. We landed on the Eggs Benedict and the $19 BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE FRENCH TOAST, which is baked cinnamon & vanilla custard-soaked brioche, butterscotch apples; topped with brown butter oat streusel & Philly whip. Unbelievable. The place was loud and popping on a Sunday around noon. Not intimate, but a fun post-church gathering of hungry souls. Haddonfield itself is a cute little town with what appeared to be a lot of cute dining spots. We will definitely make this our pit stop on future NY - DC sojourns!

Café Lift was a solid and enjoyable brunch stop in downtown Haddonfield…read more We stopped in for a mid-morning brunch on a Monday and were seated right away. The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was genuinely pleasant from the start. Julian, our server, greeted us promptly, got coffee on the table quickly, and kept everything moving smoothly. In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee. Pricing felt very reasonable for the area, and overall it was a good stop we would happily return to.

Since it's…read moreholiday season and people are off work and school, the place was probably much more crowded than usual for a weekday. Either way, my party of 6 got seated immediately. Our waitress seemed a bit flustered, but still very friendly and attentive. We ordered quickly and our food came out really fast. I got an omelette with salad greens. Everything seemed fresh and flavorful. I had zero issues with my food. One of my kids got the French toast with bacon and fruit and the other got a grilled cheese with fruit. Both kids liked the main meal but the fruit was on its way out. Lots of brown and squishy spots. Normally my kids could eat a pound of fruit each, but they both passed on it. My wife got a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. She really wanted fries, but they had none. What breakfast restaurant doesn't have French fries? We thought that was pretty strange. She said the sandwich was fine, but nothing spectacular. My parents shared eggs and potatoes and a pot of decaf. The potato consensus across the table was that they were not good. Too salty and not crispy enough. This was especially upsetting because of the lack of fries. Oh well. They also hated the coffee, but my parents only usually like McDonald's coffee. Boomers. What are you going to do. Everyone agreed we would not be back here, but for me, with the parking lot and satisfied kids, I wasn't too sad about the meal.

This is a great place to find a simple breakfast or lunch. The menu is small but mighty. I got an egg, cheese and avocado sandwich on wheat bread and a hot latte with almond milk. A delicious breakfast for around $12. The man behind the counter was fast and friendly. He didn't rush the line but also brought your order out to the waiting area when it was ready. They do have 2 small tables in the office lobby but that's just for waiting for your order or maybe scarfing down a sandwich very quickly. They also have a very small section of things you might find in a convenience store (painkillers, candy, granola bars, etc). Don't be deterred by the big office space when you pull up. Highly recommend for something tasty on the go!
