I cannot say enough about this wonderful restaurant. The service is always great and the food is even better! My go-to is the truffled steak eggs Benedict. You cannot go wrong with that dish. For a lighter appetizer, the roasted carrots with avocado and some kind of whipped cheese sauce is heavenly. This place is perfect for a Sunday brunch, but you can come anytime. Especially now that the weather is beautiful. If you're flying solo, like I was today, definitely bring a book, relax outside in the sunshine, and enjoy your amazing meal.

What a dinner we had! You definitely should make reservations, the place is small and gets crowded. Be warned it is loud when it's crowded, but just wait for the amazing staff and food to wow you. As our waitress told us, be ready to go outside your comfort zone when ordering...great advice! Since we had 6 people we were able to try so much. The best hot dog was really good! As was the bang bang asparagus, ranch carrots, and the special rangoons. Dinners were even better! The pork chop was juicy and delicious over dill potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly; Lamb chop wonderful; the fish was amazing; gnocchi Mac and cheese creamy and good; and even the salad was great. Save room for dessert...the lemon cake was my favorite, but they also had a strawberry shortcake on top of a funnel cake and a traditional cannoli with fruity pebbles! Bonus: BYOB

Delicious, unique offerings in an intimate setting - I got a meal with eggs, donuts, and duck, which tasted fantastic. I'm already thinking of going back for another meal. The service was great and I'm looking forward to the next chance I have to try another meal!

A lovely hidden gem, perfectly encapsulating an antiquated vintage home kitchen atmosphere. The coffee selection was nice and the shared plates essential for the table during brunch were top tier. The deviled eggs had a burst of savory and spicy flavor with salmon roe on top, and the silver dollar pancakes were equal parts adorable and delish.

I'd give 3 1/2 stars if I could. My friend and I went to celebrate our birthdays. Despite calling day of, they were able to squeeze us in. The meal was good, but some dishes were better than others. Sadly, the brussel sprouts were way over-seasoned and had to be sent back. Another table said the same of their order. The carrots were fantastic though. Tomato soup and grilled cheese was good, but not special. Deviled eggs are worth an order. My salmon was and serving with sides was generous. My friend, however, had to send her burger back for being very undercooked. It was then overdone. Dessert was a strong ending to the meal, and the staff did right the wrongs. I've heard good things about other experiences here and would give it another try since some of the meal was very good. For the price, I would want everything I ordered to be consistently well-prepared but appreciated the presentation, atmosphere, and service.

This place lives up to the hype. Have been here twice now for lunch and niether time has been disappointing. The place is pretty small so I can see why it was hard to get in here when they opened and it is a bit loud. The most recent time we had deviled eggs, the burger, the shrimp roll and for dessert cannolis and strawberry short cake. Everything is flavorful and fresh, service is great and I am looking forward to trying dinner here.

We had this place on our list of places to try for a while. The service/food is good but not amazing and they were missing some basic stuff for breakfast (i.e. orange juice, etc). The truffle gnocchi is really good

I made reservations here directly on their website for brunch. I had a lunch meeting and we decided to have a sit down in Haddonfield. Location: Takes a little sense of direction to find this hem nestled in the corridor of Haddonfield center district. Parking: There is a paid parking lot within walking distance. The restaurant is small and intimate. When you walk in you enter through the kitchen. The hostess checked us in, and sat us between two tables. It's tight I am not going to lie. I ordered the table pancakes, which served up as the size of a silver dollar. They were decent. It was the cheesesteak Benedict that did me in. The poached egg done to perfection, the steak texture and taste was like an Eagles championship parade in my mouth. Well done Gass and Main (G&M). Matt you are extraordinary human. Working those tables being attentive and helpful patient. Thank you for the phenomenal service. Will come again. Brunch reservations is a game changer. No waiting in a hallway without a chair like at Sabrina's .

Celebrating my birthday weekend and date night with my husband at Gass & Main. Our server, Kyle, told us about their new seasonal menu plus weekend additions. I showed him my SJFS card and he said he would surprise us with an appetizer. We ordered the lobster gnocchi Mac which was a weekend addition app. We received the chips and caviar as our free appetizer. Wow - they were both amazing. There was a great amount of lobster which we were very pleased with as almost every bite had lobster. I'm not a big fan of bbq chips but these were on another level. I ordered the crab primavera which Kyle recommended. It was a huge portion and had lots of crab. My husband had the mustard crusted pork chop which was thick and tender. My favorite dessert has always been strawberry shortcake so as soon as I saw it on the dessert menu I stopped looking. Kyle came back with the strawberry shortcake with a birthday sparkler flickering brightly on top. This is by far my favorite restaurant in South Jersey. Head over to Gass & Main for some delicious eats.

We decided to go to Gass and Main on a whim, and the wait wasn't too long. We got the Chips & Caviar, Breakfast Tacos, and a French toast dish (looking back on the website, it seems it is no longer available). We liked the Chips & Caviar, and although I didn't try the Breakfast Tacos, my friend said they were good. The French toast was okay - the bread was a bit too hard for me. Service was friendly, and the restaurant is small, but cozy. 3.5/5.

Gass and Main encapsulates everything I love about dining out, frequenting locally owned restaurants, and scrumptious food. Where else are you going to get a glimpse into the Chef's childhood living room? Or enjoy the culinary creations only a brilliant mind could conceive? You must, must, must get the truffle gnocchi. It's salty, pillowy, savory, yet not too heavy, and the perfect portion of a delectable treat. If Chef Dane's style is elevated classics, you can say goodbye to Easy Mac. I'm a sucker for anything pasta, cheese, and truffle, so this dish epitomizes all my favorite things. Did you know that wagyu hotdogs exist? I didn't, but I'm a better person after consuming Gass and Main's "World's Best Hotdog." The buttered roll and tangy mustard makes for a slam dunk. If you visit for brunch, there's no shortage of great breakfast options. A lot of the chef's dishes can be made vegetarian and/or vegan friendly, so don't be afraid to get adventurous! The staff is attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. I highly encourage reservations! A coveted walk-in spot might not be guaranteed given the (much deserved) hype of Gass and Main. There is metered parking and a paid lot nearby, but if you don't mind a short walk, you can find free street parking down the otherside of the restaurant, away from the main drag. This family owned and operated restaurant is a homerun.

One of the best meals I've had this year! My family has been raving about this restaurant so when I was in town visiting we made a dinner reservation. From start to finish everything about Gass and Main is perfect. The food is absolutely delicious, service is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. It's hard to pick a favorite dish from everything we got (it was all that good), but the charred broccolini with lemon aioli was definitely a standout that I can't stop thinking about.

Unbelievable. The place was loud and popping on a Sunday around noon. Not intimate, but a fun post-church gathering of hungry souls. The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was genuinely pleasant from the start. Julian, our server, greeted us promptly, got coffee on the table quickly, and kept everything moving smoothly. In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee. Pricing felt very reasonable for the area, and overall it was a good stop we would happily return to.

I have stayed in countless B & Bs and have contacted Select Registry (the B & B directory that highlights luxury inns) four times to suggest myself to become one of their reviewers. They haven't responded, and maybe they shouldn't hire me because I'm brutally honest, picky, and have high standards when it comes to inns. Inns have to pay a hefty fee to be featured that book, so I'd probably piss off their paying inns. But I'd make a lot of them happy, too, because when something is good, I let the world know. But I digress. Let's get back to Haddonfield Inn. I'd like to give them 5 stars because they are a dog-friendly inn. And when I called to book the room, Nicole, the innkeeper's daugher, was such a sweetheart. I really, really wanted this to be a fantastic experience because it's close to NYC, they take dogs, and we could return time and time again. Yay for NJ! We were off to a GREAT start! Right? WRONG. We get here and I go to the restroom to relieve myself. I see that the maid has not yet cleaned the floor... there's hair and dirt on the floor. I know, I know. I'm picky, but for $259 a night, a clean bathroom would be a nice touch. I told the innkeeper (I was very nice and charming about it) and she came to clean it herself. It took her 2 seconds flat. She ran back out and called my name. "Angela, you owe us another $20 because you are only staying for one night. Can I have your credit card again?" Huh?? Now normally an extra 20 bucks would not throw me. But we were told when I booked the room that it was $259 and were sent the receipt in a follow-up confirmation. So I asked her about it and she just mumbled something about the fact that Nicole made a mistake and she was just going to have to charge me the extra $20. I told her that this is not what was told to us when we booked and I had the receipt to prove it. She turned to me and said, "Well, if you aren't happy about it, you can just leave." I stuck my 8-month pregnant belly out (just in case she missed it... doesn't she know that you aren't supposed to mess with a lady who is that pregnant?) and said, "I'm not unhappy, I'm shocked at the way you are treating your customer." She knew she was wrong and after mumbling some comments that I chose not to hear, she said she'd reimburse us the $20. And, to her credit, she wrote us an apology note later in the evening. I would have given this place 2 stars, but because Nicole was such a nice person to us and because they accept dogs, I give them a freebie star.

I was immediately impressed that we were greeted by the owner & innkeeper for the evening as soon as we parked. They gave us a quick tour of the house and showed us to our room. I really liked that Inn is kid friendly. We have a 2 year old daughter, and I've heard most B&B's do not allow small children. Since this was practically the only lodging available in Haddonfield, we were very thankful that we were able to bring the 2 year old on the trip with us. Drinks, snacks, and wine were available at any hour of the day. We really liked our room, but it got pretty chilly on our first night. We could not figure out how to turn on the fireplace in our room. We found out the next morning that the gas was off in the entire house, which was why we couldn't turn the fireplace on. However, they quickly remedied the situation and our room returned to a comfortable temperature in no time. I would return based on the location and the super friendliness of the staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.

Everything seemed fresh and flavorful. I had zero issues with my food. One of my kids got the French toast with bacon and fruit and the other got a grilled cheese with fruit.
