I've come here 3 times within the last month and the service is HORRIBLE. First time I got seated at a table where someone was already sitting.... Second time NO ONE and I mean NO ONE wanted to serve us. We sat in the corner and it took 20 mins just to take our order and another 30 to get our food. IHOP is usually really good but the other day when I went they gave us the worst service yet. They really weren't crowded at all. We got there at 10 in the morning and they didn't give us our drinks until about 10:40. By that time we were ready to order but she didn't get it then, it took her another 10 minutes to do that. I keep going back thinking it will get better. IT DOESN'T! The service was awful from the second we walked in and I asked how long the wait was. The hostess just said "there's 3 people in front of you?" We were seated after about 15 minutes and our server seemed awfully ready to just take our orders and leave. I asked for their "Monster Mozzarella sticks" which were not done and smaller than Sonic's despite being twice the price. My wife's pancakes were dry and overdone and the fruit was scarce but the whipped cream was plentiful if you're into that. I got the corned beef hash which was more sauce than anything but it wasn't horrible. I've had worse food, but I always know I can have a bad time at this IHOP. DON'T GO! I had hoped with the updates they had done to the building the food and service would improve as well. It has not. The kitchen was extremely slow and our server was absent most of the time. For 5 minutes me and others waited for the meeting to end. Meeting or no meeting, NEVER LEAVE CUSTOMERS WAITING!!!!!!!!! Had to ask for refills on water, syrup etc. Ordered the Spicy poblano omelette and got something else. They took it back then the new omelette had raw jalapeños that had the seeds in them and the cheese wasn't melted. Vegetables in an omelette should always be sautéed. "Yes ma'am, I'd like an omelette with raw vegetables please" said no mofo EVER!! I left the waitress $0 tip. I typically tip 25-30% but if you do a horrible job I will leave you nothing. Walked in to IHOP this morning @8:23am, parking lot was pretty light, store was about 40% full. We waited 6 minutes to be acknowledged. Our mistake. We watched one server come from kitchen with juice for a customer, we also saw 5 other servers behind glass, chatting. Someone finally noticed us, said we will be with you in a minute. Went back to chatting. Waited, said enough, as we were leaving, finally got noticed and when we said we were leaving got an Okay! Called store and manager let us know they were just shorthanded. 5 servers, 40% full and you couldn't even seat us? He wasn't on the floor, he was one of the chatter folks. Usually I don't like to write a negative review, but this is the second time i'm sitting at my table and staring at my food in the window- it might even be the same server. not happy with the service! We wanted to come here and enjoy our food but now it's cold and tastes like old grease. Not to mention the steak tastes like it was marinated in sugar. I can't blame it all on the server though because it seemed like she was going back and forth between rooms and was very nice and attentive. When I got there we sat right behind a table that people had just left from. The whole time we were there, they did not make one effort to clean it. as there was also only 3-5 tables in the restaurant. Our waitress(didn't mention her name) gave silverware that had been dropped down from our table to the floor, to the next guy that walked in. And on top of that , they forgot half of our food. Tonight's experience was unfortunate.... we had a really sweet server who was brand new and trying her best but the other team members left her to the wolves till it was too late and she was completely overwhelmed. One girl did step up to help out after we went 10 minutes without our drinks and our food came out in 5 minute waves. We stayed as patient as we could even though it took an hour and 20 min to get food and drinks and another 10 minutes to get our bill payed as there was no one working the register and our server was unable to leave the tables she was taking care of. When I inquired to another server about our payment we he said he has to find our server since it was cash payment which we handed him the check and the money in order to speed up the process when he found her. our server appeared shortly after but was unable to take our payment because the check was nowhere to be found and she didn't know how to bring the check back up in the computer. I love I HOP and am very disappointed in my experience tonight I think it was ridiculous that when I asked to speak to a manager I was told she is unavailable and the server scurried off. read more

Terrible visit! Mothers Day and store was well staffed and not busy at all. We sat down right when we walked in right next to the back line. As we sat there 10 employees were just standing around doing nothing. We sat there for 10 minutes and everyone was more concerned about who's table it was so nobody bothered to greet us, take our drink order, or even say "your server will be right with you". Towards the end they just completely avoided eye contact because they knew we were upset or they knew nobody was waiting on us. What happened to customer service, I guess since they didn't know if they were getting a tip or not it wasn't worth it? We are at Cracker Barrel right now, walked right in, got a table, sat down, and within 10 seconds we were greeted and our drink order was taken. Suggestion: IHOP manager bring your team over to Cracker Barrel to see how it is done, if you take care of the customer you will get more business and make more money!!!! read more

Terrible service and very inconsistent. I've made a few trips to this location in the last couple years. My last visit earlier his week will definitely be my last one. I was quickly seated which wasn't bad for he busy time for breakfast and got my coffee and placed my order fairly fast but after that I wasn't checked on for 40 minutes and siting for my food. People waiting ahead of me got fed up with waiting and left. I should've done the same thing since when food finally arrived it was an incomplete order and stone cold. My server never came until I had to ask for hot food. Still got burned crepes and hash browns and after talking to one very apologetic manager another one named Leo decided he wanted to argue about the bad service and low quality food served. I got the same argument from him when he responded to the survey on the receipt. I very strongly recommend not visiting his location as it is a disgrace to the IHOP chain. I'm still having this reviewed with corporate and has not yet been resolved. I think next time I'll just go to Cracker Barrel up the street. read more

-EMPLOYEES- The hostess had a large, button-size tounge-ring and slippers on. The waitress had fake fingernails with heavy polish on them. The menus were soiled. The booth was soiled. No trays were used to carry plates of food. -EXPERIENCE- Most customers were crammed into the smallest room in the restaurant. Employees were rolling silverware in the same room, in a booth near the guests. This was very loud and got annoying quick. By the end of it, there was 5 employees all rummaging through the silverware beside us as we ate. As they rolled, we overheard a conversation about how an employee was, "So F***ing P***ed" she made poor tips. -FOOD- The bacon was torn to pieces, and so limp and greasy it could be rolled into a tight coil. I had to send my eggs back, and settled for the cook's second attempt. -MANAGEMENT- When questioned, the manager was defensive and unaware of basic food-safety regulations. When questioned about the noisy silverware rolling, the manager simply said that's where they always rolled silverware. When questioned about the slippers, he asked me to point them out. A waitress sitting beside us rolling silverware was wearing a pair. When questioned about the fingernails/polish, he said there was no law prohibiting fake fingernails/polish on food handlers. According to ARKANSAS STATE BOARD OF HEALTH RULES AND REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS, part 2-302.11, this is prohibited. -TO GO ORDERING- The employees don't use the hold option on the phone when transferring calls. When someone calls to place an order, they are forced to listen to the employees' conversations until someone answers to take the order. Four out-of Five times something has been missing from the order. In conclusion, this place has too many basic problems to list. These are obvious to a customer, and hopefully management. I believe their practices are falling short of both employee and food safety-regulations, as well as corporate guidelines. I personally believe the blame falls on the management for not enforcing rules, regulations and best practices. This place could use a surprise visit from a District Manager. read more

Worst experience at any IHOP I've ever been to! My husband and I stopped here on our way to the lake on Labor Day. We initially pulled in to Waffle House a several blocks away because I wanted waffles, but decided to head to IHOP instead because my husband was craving chicken fried steak and they too have waffles. My husband ordered chicken fried steak and orange juice, and the waitress said "sorry we are out of chicken fried steak and orange juice". So then he ordered some pancakes and sausage and she too informed us they were out of sausage. He ended up ordering chicken strips and fries, but had to get hash brown instead because they too were out of fries. I ordered Waffles and coffee with creamer and guess what they were out of waffles and creamer!! By this point I was pretty frustrated and asked the waitress to tell me what they did have, since it appeared they were out of most of the food on the menu. She then handed me a list of everything they did not have. It was a very long list by the way. I ended up ordering banana foster brioche french toast, which when they brought it out only had 4 slices of banana. I'm guessing they were close to running out of bananas as well. At this point I still planned on leaving the waitress a good tip because it was not her fault the manager or who ever was in charge of ordering the food and ingredients, failed to do their job. However, it was the last time she came to our table. Another lady brought our food, no one ever asked to refill our drinks, and another lady dropped off our ticket. She was still however serving and waiting on other tables. By the way we sat our table for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to come pick up our money so that we could leave. When someone finally did pick it up I expected to get my $3 change back, but no one ever returned with my change. They did not earn my $3. I wanted it back but we were already running behind schedule so we left. I was not the only customer frustrated because they were out of everything good on the menu.
