Arrived for dinner about 5PM, parking lot was very full but our wait was very short, less than 5 min. Hostess was very polite, we were greeted by several staff as we were going to our table. Seating options are bar, table or booth. Our waiter was very dedicated and took great care to ensure our needs were met. Food came out piping hot and cooked to perfection. Exactly the way we requested. Manager ? Came by to check on our service and immediately corrected everything we were not happy with, which was very little. We were served a drink in a small glass instead of a tall glass as requested. Nothing major but she corrected it immediately! My chicken critters were tender and serving sizes huge. This Texas Roadhouse used to be our favorite steak restaurant in Conway. They were the best and always got it right. Unfortunately, the quality has diminished to the point we won't be back. We noticed the cook on the steaks varied a lot on previous visits. My wife and I both order the same thing every time. Filet cooked medium. Hers would be so rare that we'd have to swap. Or one would be way overdone. Two steaks to the same table were never the same. Not even close. Two months ago we brought our daughter. Each of us ordered a steak, each of us ordered medium. We had to send one back because it was well done, one was very rare, and the third was perfect. We love this place so last Sunday we tried one last time. My wife's was under but mine was very well done. I can understand not perfect, but it was brown and dry. I sent it back. It seems that if you send back a steak that was supposed to be medium, but was horribly cooked, the chef in the back thinks that means you don't like medium so they cook it rare. My second was rare. I don't want rare. I want medium. They cannot consistently present a medium steak. It's unnerving. However, the service is always great. The bread, salads, potatoes, sides, chicken sandwiches, burgers, and other entrees are great. If you do not want a steak, give this place a shot. We truly do enjoy going to Texas Roadhouse for everything they offer except for their steaks. And I can't give a steakhouse a decent rating if they can't get a steak right on 4 different visits. I know that Mothers Day is a very busy day, however, I was in NO rush. I just wanted good food, and TR can be good food. I ordered a 20 oz. ribeye, to be cooked medium. I also ordered a Cactus Blossom, with a baked potato and salad, with a LIT. FIRST, I was not even upset that it took as long as it did for the waitress to get to me, again, I KNOW that this is a busy day. I had joined the VIP waitlist and after an hour and forty five minutes, I just went inside and was seated pretty promptly. The rolls that came out were undercooked and doughy, so the waitress did bring more, but they were undercooked too. The cactus blossom arrived within less than 10 minutes, and it was super fresh. Within 3--4 minutes of that, the steak arrived. It was charred on the outside and blood raw inside. The baked potato was partially done. The waitress offered to take it back and get it cooked longer, but that is food contamination, and in this day and age of diseases, I just couldn't. I didn't make a scene, just packaged it all to go and paid and left. After I calmed down, I called and talked to Michelle, who said she was a manager, I explained the situation and I was feeling as if either I am being targeted, or this is just the culture of this restaurant, because this is not the first time this has happened, it is not the 2nd time, or the 3rd time. $45 including tip and it wasn't edible. I said something about either people are not trained, don't care, or don't understand and Michelle jumped to claiming I am racist, which is extremely weird and unacceptable. IT IS A CULTURE OF NOT TRAINING people, no matter who they are and not giving a Fiddle. I can not keep giving restaurants good money for this kind of service. It's not the waitresses fault, essentially it is the responsibility of the person(s) who are food runners to check the food and make sure it is prepared correctly. I whole heartedly understand about the business of the day, but what about the other days? It is a dgamd attitude. I have gone there before and had excellent food and service, but it seems they are in a transition for some time now and it's not getting any better. I don't think a customer needs to have to complain to get their order out to them accurately. And then to try to suggest I am in the wrong for even calling her. I never knew a ribeye steak could have so much gristle until I ordered on here tonight. I get ribeyes all the time at Kroger and have never had a piece of meat anywhere near as bad as this. Was not sure if my Wife and I should try here for the first time for our Anniversary Lunch or not. The reviews have been hit and miss. Now we are not sure if we want to go back or not since our visit was both a hit and a miss. Our visit was on a Sunday and they had a steady flow of Customers, but the Staff seemed to be on top of things. We got to our Table and after a short wait our Waitress was there to take our order. We ordered a couple of Beers and the Rattlesnake Bites for our App and Streaks with Tea to drink for our Meal. We both had Salads as one of our Sides. There was a bit of a wait for any of our Food to show up and Drinks took longer. Then, out of nowhere, our Salad show up, followed by our App a few minutes later with Steak right on its heels. We got our App second but all within three minutes of the Salad. Then our Beers show up with her dropping off Tea right afterwards. If that had been it, I still might have given five Stars, but wait, there is more. Being that Conway is a Dry City, my Wife called Saturday to confirm that they sold on Sunday and that Sam Adams Seasonal was on Draft and it was their Summer Ale. We were told yes. During our visit we ordered the Sam Adams Seasonal but that wasn't what we were brought. While polite about it, our Waitress did argue with me that it was. She took them back and brought them back saying, again, that they were. After having to Argue again that these were regular Sam Adams and not Seasonal, she went back again, came back again saying that Sam Adams Boston Lager was their Seasonal. I had to show her in the Menu that they were not the same. After leaving again and coming back she said that was all they had. Then why were we told different the day before? No offer to make this right was given even though fault was on them. Snake Bites were OK, nothing to write home about. Sonic's Chedder Peppers have more taste and are a lot cheaper. Salad was rather dull even with Bacon Bits and Bleu Cheese Crumbles were added. Baked Potato was a Baked Potato, no taste to it that made it special. The Steak was good, great cook, a little too much fat left on mine, wife's looked better. Did not get a refill on our Tea until after the Meal was finished and she was bringing us our Check. I am not one to ask for free stuff, but a small discount on our two Beers should have been offered since they were in the wrong and argued until backed into corner and forced to admit it. That particular Beer being on Draft was one of the reasons we picked this Restaurant. In the end it was hits and misses, but more misses than hits. On the Fence about returning. Right now it just isn't worth the price for the Service, but it was a good Steak. read more

Went with the family of 10, to here and let me tell you we were not the only ones. We were directed to a booth that was too small for our party. But we cramped ourselves in there. They said this is the best we can do. When we asked about the other tables they said we cannot do that. Food was good as always, and the server was very nice. The manager on shift was the most horrible manager I seen. There's a ticket on our tables and he goes around collecting them and saying only hi and running off. We wanted to talk about the seating arrangement but couldn't. I would definitely work out the management skills with some better customer service. When I go, I usually go in by myself because it's a big family atmosphere there or time to bring your friends and enjoy a meal together but when I end up going there, I usually go by myself. The food is always delicious. The steaks are amazing. I love a Ribeye steak and that's usually I usually get shrimp as a side to that steak and it's so delicious. They're plump and juicy a pair of shrimp each time I get an entrée because I love it what I get every time. I said at the bar because you get personal service at a moments notice I like it because you don't have to wait for the waitress or waiter to come back to check on you. The ladies in the bar area are very tender to you and at your Becking call I just love Texas roadhouse I would recommend it to anyone and when you go in with a friends and family you're treated with such respect and love the waiters enjoy their jobs. Today January 23,2023 is my Son's Birthday and we decided to go to Texas Roadhouse in Conway Arkansas which we have been here many times, well we will not go back there ever again! Half of our party of eight arrived at 3:19 and we were told by the hostess that we would not be able to be seated until 4:00 because there was no one there to work or set a table for that size party and won't be until 4:00 I said that will be okay the others will be here by then and at 4:15 we were still waiting and asked the hostess again about getting seated she stated to me that they were waiting on the people that were at the table they were waiting on to seat us at were still eating and she couldn't just ask them to leave, my Sister asked for the Manager and they seated us at the big booth they had, my sister in law was sitting with one leg on the floor to not fall off of the seat, that's how crowded we were, my Son's steak came out blue in the middle not to mention this is two hours later my sister in law sent her steak back twice and had to get it to go, my Son's girl friend had to leave without even eating( she had to take her daughter to softball practice at 5:00) which I stated to the hostess when we were trying to get seated and they were steady seating people all this time!! Our waitress was wonderful but that hostess needs to get into a different line of work, My whole night was just ruined not to mention my Son's birthday so thanks Texas Roadhouse for not being able to seat eight people for a birthday party and make it a pleasant experience for my Son! This was a mixed experience. The Waitlist feature on the app was valuable. The rolls with cinnamon butter are great. My salad was at best fair, sweet potato was very good. My wife's mashed potatoes were cool, butter would not melt. But the steaks were excellent. It is also very loud. After a long day of driving we decided to stop off at Texas Roadhouse. I am glad I put us on the waitlist in advance as we didn't want to stay too long! We were in about 10 mins after checking in, and the hostess graciously grabbed us extra rolls at our request on the way in as we hadn't eaten since breakfast. Went on a Sunday at 2:30, so not peak time. Food was good, our waitress was terrible. When you see all the employees hustling to give what looked like good service and our waitress, Maiya, was so slow and preoccupied.
