Ribeye steak cooked perfectly and it was pretty tender! Added the cowboy butter on top for the win. Broccoli was steamed and buttered. I will have to give them credit the steak was good quality! My co-worker and I came here for dinner while traveling through for work. The restaurant wasn't busy and we were seated pretty quick. Our server took our drink orders and got them out to us and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. I got the 6oz sirloin special with broccoli instead of fries and added a side salad. My worker got the ribs and 8oz sirloin with a side salad and loaded mashed potatoes. The salads came out before the meal pretty fast and mine was pretty good. Our main courses came out while still eating our salads. My broccoli was cooked, but it was cool. The steak was ordered medium rare and was cooked correctly. The steak had good flavor, but pretty tough. My co-worker said his meal was good. If I were to try this place again I would definitely go with an appetizer or pasta possibly. read more

Because I haven't been to a TGI Fridays in a very long time , my boys and I chose to go on our "date" in memory of their grandfather who used to take us there to eat all the time before he died. We walk in, and for a Saturday it wasn't too busy but they had a nice crowd. There was one man waiting on a table and shortly after we walked in, a couple and their newborn came in. We stood by the hostess table where there were two ( a me and a female) with their backs to us talking. The male shortly went to the man who had been waiting on a table to tell him that it won't be much longer then walked off. The female went in another direction. I looked at my sons and asked are we invisible ? No one greeted us nor told us that they would be with us shortly. After some time of just standing there and the make making it back to the hostess table (still not acknowledging us) then walking off and the female coming back I asked her - is there a wait ? She then asked me had we been helped. I said no. She then said who is next? I said idk, this guy (I point to the one who has been waiting) has been here, the other couple came in after I did and I've been standing here behind this desk long enough to see you and the other hostess chatting, walk off and not acknowledge us at all. She then seated us at a table with no apologies. Our waitress was nice and attentive. She was also quick to get our orders and bring our food. The food was good, just like I remembered it to be. I love the Jack Daniels sauce with everything. My son thought his ribs were phenomenal and fell off the bone. The chicken was tender. We didn't have to use salt or pepper on anything. My salmon was delicious and paired well with that mango salsa and the Jasmine rice had a great flavor. We had a nice dinner despite the rude behavior we encountered from the hostesses upon arrival. Saturday night and there were very few customers, but we still had to wart for 15 minutes. Used to go to TGIF all the time. The one closest to us closed down a few years ago, so I was happy to see one by my hotel. Ordered take out because of time restraints. Saw the menu had been updated through the years, which was not a surprise. I ordered the Philly Burger . No complaints about it really. It was good. Just not an over the top good I was hoping for. Either extra cheese or more sauce? Maybe my comparison to Killer Burger's Reb Molly hurt my perception. My real disappointment was the staff seemed put out that I was there. Just picking up my order. On the way home from vacay and stopped one last time before home for lunch. Service was ok but cook time was crazy slow. Ribs were warm but not hot with minimal seasoning. There is no reason to ever be here for anything other than happy hour. The staff has always been great, but the food just isn't good. It never has been. I can't imagine a scenario in which it ever will be. Let me stress, though, it isn't the staff's fault. The drinks are good, and I've never had a bad bartender or server in the bar area. So, I will drive 45 minutes to 2 hours away for TGI Friday's pork potstickers. Yesterday, I ventured to TGI Friday's and they are running an "Under The Big Top" special menu for a limited time. Very interesting were the selections... Needless to say, I ordered my postickers and I tried the Amazing Blazing Pond of Cheese Fries and the Ooey Gooey Mozz Stick Melter. Loved it all (couldn't eat half of any of it). It was all so much! I ate all of the potstickers though. I ordered a new appetizer called French Onion dumpling, it is a won ton wrapper filled with onion soup gravy and deep fried, it was not bad. This place is great if you're wanting to have a semi "fancy" lunch or dinner. Pretty decently priced for some really good food. The staff is good at coming and checking in on you and seeing if you need refills or anything like that. The sides and appetizers are very good. I suggest trying the mashed potatoes and onion rings. They have decent potato skins, and the wings are okay but could have been a little spicier for my liking but because that is my personal opinion, it will not affect my rating. The steak came out medium rare just how I had asked for it. A beautiful browned color on the outside and I nice pink color on the inside. Everything had amazing flavor and was cooked to perfection. I saw a similar post a while ago about someone at Applebee's or something. I've always been skeptical about ordering steaks anywhere since then. However, tonight I really wanted one. I ordered to-go from TGI Fridays (Conway, AR) and when I got home I thought, "wow this seems really small...." I decided to try the weight test. Well what can you guess? I paid $20 for a meal and literally got HALF the meat. I'm not one to post a critical review because I get it, a bad day or something. But this has NOTHING to do with customer service and all to do with greed. As a college student (and anyone else who eats here) we work hard for our money. I hate being taken advantage of, but even worse, I hate when OTHERS are being taken advantage of. I'm ashamed of TGI Fridays. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, but I know it does. Who would have thought TGIF would put together one of the best brunches around? (Certainly in Conway and most of Little Rock, comparatively). I gotta say, they cooked my eggs (sunny side up) to perfecto goodness! Decent sides-- potatoes, bacon, and even the coffee is pretty darn good. How do I write this? When asked if I wanted to go to TGI Fridays all I could think was, "why would Anyone want to go there?" TGI is like Chili's right? They're just herpes spreading across the landscape. I agreed and was actually..impressed with the menu. They had options. Odd appetizers, boneless wings made me feel the pain of every chicken in that processing plant who'd been mashed into a crate its entire life with the inability to spread it's wings and get pecked to death by it's crate mates. Oh, who'm I kidding! It's deep fried protein nuggets with crazy sauce thrown on top. I'm an American! I love this shit. The potato bomb chicken sriracha wasn't overly spicey but had enough heat to keep me interested. The tostada chicken appetizer had enough cabbage, cilantro and a jalapeno slice on it to give me the illusion of health. I love that. Overall, I'd say I was ok with the whole event. I didn't feel as dirty as I at first thought. When all was said and done I'd had my fill for about $11 not including tip. This company has apparently perfected its staff training. Everyone "gets the memo." Anyhow, my food - Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta - was very good; the service was prompt and friendly; the atmosphere was standard-issue Friday's: funky, relaxing and upbeat; the facility was spotless and well organized. My friend and I came in and the parking lot was packed but we took a chance. If you come in on a busy dinner rush ask to be seated in Andrews section! That guy impressed us enough to come here and write a review based on incredible service alone. The food was great, by the way, we both ordered the $12 endless appetizers (potato skins were meh, spinach dip and bbq beef tostadas were absolutely wonderful). But the fact that Andrew had a full section and knew enough to keep his eye on the speed of the kitchen and adjust accordingly to ensure that all of his tables had an appetizer or drink without a long wait time during a dinner rush...hats off to you Andrew.
