Pancakes look like they were cooked on a dirty grill and over medium eggs over cooked, cheese or butter did not melt.

Annie B. 0201 3/6/2023 Sunday morning 3/5/23 we decided to go for breakfast. It was a little crowded but we are patient people. The server was a very nice gentleman who took our order. But the breakfast was the worse I had ever seen or tasted. My pancakes looked like they were cooked on a dirty grill and were not hot and the butter finally melted, the bacon was greasy (expected) the eggs were cooked over medium but my side of grits was stiff and barely warm, butter didn't melt, nor did the grated cheese. The upside of this breakfast was someone paid for our breakfast anonymously. That was a beautiful gesture from the nice people who thought enough of us to honor us by paying for our breakfast. I placed a to go order and called the local number which directed me to a call center. I wanted turkey instead of pork so they said that I had to call the store (which I thought I was doing already). I spoke to someone on the phone who took my order (I later found out that her name was Diane). She said that she couldn't take my card over the phone, which was fine because my sister was picking both of our orders up. I gave her my card. When she arrived, they said that it was not ready but hers was and that there were orders ahead of mine. She asked for an ETA which there was not. She brought the food back and I said I'll go get the other order. We live 10 minutes away. When she came I called the local number again which directed me to the call center. They could not find my order and I asked to be connected with the store. The store said that it was ready even though my sister just left ten minutes ago and they said it was not and there were orders ahead as well. She would have waited. I got to the store and it was indeed crowded, which was understandable on a Sunday and I asked for my order. They asked for payment. I said my sister just left ten minutes ago or so and she paid with my card. They said it had on the receipt and they showed me "NP". I reiterated that it was paid but realized my receipt was still right outside in my car. I got the receipt and showed them the charge plus my sister left a tip. I told them to look at the receipt and everyone there were about 3 people at the front at that point kept saying I didn't pay. I even logged into my Navy Federal app and showed them the pending charge for 40 something for my family meal.I asked for a manger at that point, and they called Diane. She came up and said you didn't pay. I showed her the receipt and the pending charge on my bank account. She didn't want to look and just kept saying I need to pay and then she said I'm the one you spoke to on the phone didn't I tell you that you couldn't pay over the phone. I said I know and I'm showing you the receipt from just minutes ago when my sister PHYSICALLY came in and paid with my card. She started saying ma'am ma'am calm down I am trying to help you and figure out what's going on. I said I am calm (I was annoyed and raised my voice slightly because she wasn't looking at the black and white evidence that was being presented but I did not yell and I was not being belligerent as she was implying). At this point the whole restaurant was looking at the spectacle. I was completely embarrassed! She then proceeded to say I'm not just going to let food walk out of here, which added to the embarrassment because now you're saying that I'm trying to steal food! I said but my sister JUST PAID I'm showing you the receipt and pending charge on my card! I told her that I didn't like the implication. She said ma'am I told you that you can't pay with a card over the phone. I don't understand what the disconnect was or why this lady was so unprofessional, ignorant, and just unintelligent. Now on to the food. The meat was fine but there was no cheese on the eggs and I asked for them to be well done they were runny. 4 pancakes were normal size and 4 were super small. In the bag there were no napkins, forks, syrup, butter, nothing but the food. Do better, I work too hard to earn my money to be belittled by a rude employee and to be accused of stealing is unexcusable!

Horrible service. Had to wait over 25 minutes for curbside service. No apology for the wait and the food was cold..

There seems to be plenty of parking on the street as well as the lot behind the building. It was around noon when I arrived and they were serving their brunch menu. I had the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit that came with eggs and a side of grits. The biscuit was large, soft, and toasted and the fried chicken on top crisp and seasoned well. It was sweet from the honey. The eggs (I had them scrambled) were fine, but nothing remarkable. The grits were quite spicy for my taste, but I'm a wimp from the Midwest so they were probably great. I enjoyed everything. I would have liked an unsweetened iced tea, but only sweet tea was available. I had a fountain soft drink instead of. The restaurant was light and airy. The furniture was a bit worn and the dishes were plain white plastic but on the whole it was a lovely place. My server was pleasant and attentive.

Finally, made it to this restaurant. I would be back…read more Parking, plenty. This is rare that a brunch spot has so much parking. There is a huge open parking lot on W. Mill across the street. There is also street parking. Wait to be seated. Best to have a reservation during peak hours. Weekend brunch and evenings I imagine to be busy. QR code menu. NOTE if you go during brunch and you get a cocktail from the menu you won't see the prices for brunch. That is part of the reason for the low rating. Even though the drink menu says the days and hours for those prices, you have to ask for the after those hours. The menu has your typical southern brunch flare with a twist. The drink menu is good. I ordered the impossible burger slider, it doesn't come with anything. Just two sliders. I ordered the potatoes. Even though the sliders were decent. It was a little salty. Presentation was good. Watermelon savage. I also tried the scrambled eggs - way too salty. It was inedible. My brunch partner didn't like the grits or chicken biscuit that it came with. Service was fine. Decor and atmosphere was nice. Overall, it was decent. It seems like a nice place to grab drinks and catch a vibe or be the vibe. Gratuity is included. Overall, decent spot. Oh and there is outdoor seating that includes a stage.

Sometimes, a lady just wants a cocktail…read more Summary: Good spot. Would visit again. In this economy, you're going to spend more than you'd like. The strip mall entrance and parking a bit of a challenge. Full review below: I went in Saturday afternoon. It was lightly busy but fully staffed so help/attention came quick. Dining solo so I opted for a seat at the bar. Bartender was super attentive. Didn't have to wait long for a menu or to place my order. Also, she regularly checked in on how everything was. I ordered the Yellow Diamond Martini ($15) and it was delicious. I got the fried green tomatoes (4 pieces) for $11.95. Complimentary very tall cup of water. The tomatoes were a little small so this is definitely an appetizer/light snack...which is A-OK for me. It came out shortly after my martini was ready. Overall, minus tip, it came to $29. Music was playing through a speaker but not too loud. People could comfortably have a conversation. There are multiple tvs throughout. I appreciated that some of them were showing stuff other than sports. One monitor, near the restroom, is devoted to Culturistic Kitchen content, which is smart. I did use the restroom. It's two stalls and two sinks. The non-handicap/ADA stall is tiny. I'm like a medium-sized woman who is 5'7 and even I was like yikes. When the place is busy/packed I could see a wait or a line for the bathroom. The one major downside...which is not Culturistic Kitchen's fault is that the strip mall is not easy to get out of and onto the main road (Jodeco Rd) especially if you're turning left. The parking lots for all the shops, which are great businesses, should be bigger than it is. Don't be surprised if, during peak times, you may have to park 1-2 doors down from the restaurant. Overall, I would go again. I don't go out to eat that often (there's food at the house ) but if I want a good cocktail and a light snack or try some of their regular food items, I would come again. More than likely, I'd choose an off-peak time because I wouldn't want to experience it at near full capacity but that's just me.

There were a few tables available and the hostess allowed us to select where we wanted to sit. There is a bar and hookah's are available. The restroom was clean and there was more than one stall. I ordered the Rasta Pasta with shrimp and it was delicious. I was also able to sample the Rasta Pasta with chicken and it was just as good. I personally prefer the shrimp and will try the salmon during my next visit. The pasta doesn't come with a protein. The downside is each protein you add costs an additional $10. The portion was huge. So, if you don't eat a lot, order one serving of Rasta Pasta and add the proteins that the two of you would like to try and it's an inexpensive date!
