I stopped by IHOP during a low traffic weekday, with only a couple of tables occupied. At first, the staff didn't notice I had walked in, so I waited a few minutes before being seated. Once I was, the service was friendly and welcoming. Ambience was clean and quiet. My order took about 25 minutes to arrive, which felt a little long given how quiet it was. That said, the food made up for it- the sirloin tips are my favorite dish at IHOP. The meat was incredibly tender and beautifully presented. Between how good the food was and the friendly staff, the experience was worth it, though I'd suggest adding a bell at the entrance so guests can be helped right away. read more

Pretty standard IHOP experience. We came here on a weekend for a very late breakfast. The parking lot only had 1 open spot, but there were a few tables and booths open and we were seated right away. Our server was fast and friendly, she took our orders, our drinks were brought almost immediately and our food was served in about 5 minutes after we'd ordered. Breakfast for 2, + 1 coffee and 1 OJ was just over $35 before gratuity. The entire time we were here there was a line of servers at the kitchen to pick up food orders, and the method to IHOP's success seems to be fairly simple: Offer a relatively basic menu filled with favorites that the cooks can repeat over and over, and though we never felt rushed at all, the goal is to get customers in, get them fed and move them along to turn over the tables for the next group. I had the french toast combo with an OJ and everything I had was good aside from the hash browns - the top and bottom sides were browned from being on the griddle, but most of the potatoes inside were raw or nearly so, and they were relatively flavorless. read more

IHOP was close to our Hotel and much cheaper than the Hotel Breakfast. They were busy and we only had a 10 minute wait. If you're like me, I took it with no cream or sugar. It's pretty much "bottomless" but at 5am that feels like something that deserves a Michelin award. Since even after a long late night I try to eat healthy, my main was their turkey bacon strips (4 strips of 120 calories). The flavor and crispiness were on par and hit the spot. Their blueberry pancakes were light & fluffy, and the blackberry compote (most likely not organic :) very heavily sweet but just enough of a sugar rush before getting home and back to bed. I visited this location in May with my husband because it was conveniently located close to our hotel in Miami. It is small and the seating is very compact. Essentially, it felt like we were at the same table as the couple who sat next to us. We could hear their conversations comfortably and they ours. There is no privacy, so depending on your preferences, this is a deal breaker. The place felt dirty. The cracks of the seats were filled with food from people who dined there previously, and in general it just didn't feel clean. The food took sometime but when it came it was hot and the portions were great. Neither of us were able to finish our meals. The waitress was ok, definitely nothing noteworthy. After we were finished eating, she took really long to return with the bill. The place was very full/busy so this was initially understandable, but after a while we were no longer patient because so much time had passed. We were eventually able to get her attention. When she brought the bill we informed her that we would be paying with a Credit Card. She asked us for the card so that she could take it to the cash register to swipe. Absolutely not! I have never been asked this before. It is certainly not a practice in the Caribbean (where I'm from) and I travel often and have never had it happen to me before overseas either. I informed her that I would instead take the card to the machine so that it could be processed. She agreed and we went to the register. I paid and did not include a tip, to which she insisted that I leave a tip and walked away. I don't just leave a tip just because. I tip based on service and her's just wasn't great - at all. Anyway, we decided to tip, but of course she was no where to be found when we wanted to give it to her, and our Uber was close. We were able to hand it over before going outside for the Uber eventually. I ordered a PROTEIN STYLE (no buns) burger I even said to the lady in Spanish we can not eat bread and I asked for SWEET POTATOES BECAUSE I CANT HAVE THE SUGAR IN THE REGULAR POTATOES. What a GREAT IHOP! Came on early Saturday morning and expecting a long wait was pleasantly surprised when the hostess said ten to fifteen minutes. Within 12 minutes we were seated. Our waitress Anny, was very friendly and accommodated all of our requests. She even gave my grandmother her own carafe of coffee. I am really not a milkshake person but this is the best milkshake I have ever had. The food came out in record time. The whole restaurant was very clean and the food was AMAZING. We ordered the breakfast platter, the quick two breakfast and they customized some delicious pancakes for us. We will definitely be coming more to this IHOP. Can't recommend it enough. Service is a little slow but understandable due to the quantity of customers they have at all times. A small long wait to be seated and a bit longer wait to have a server. Food is ok , I got the veggie omelette and it was a little bit oily but that's because I forgot to tell my server not to make it like that. Mozzarella sticks are good, but they came out a little not to hot. Eat too quickly and got full too fast and had to cancel my blueberry pancake : ( nooooo!!! There is a homeless working inside of the restaurant passing by the tables with a terrible smell, if the manager wants to help the poor, so offer them a shower and clean clothes, but this is against the hospitality regulations. Also I saw a cucaracha inside of the restaurant and spider webs. We were three people in the table and the food was served to one person first and ten minutes later the second one and fifteen minutes later the third one.
