Maracuya juice and La Caleña - Turkey, prosciutto, manchego cheese, tomato, red onion, fresh cilantro, house-made cilantro mayo - so good!
    Cristal D.

Second visit to Tinta y Café, and it definitely lived up to the hype again. small coffee shop with a Bib Gourmand. The menu is simple and Cuban focused, but the sandwiches stand out. My favorite is the La Caleña -- turkey, prosciutto, manchego cheese, tomato, red onion, fresh cilantro, and house-made cilantro mayo. Tons of flavor and a good size. I could only finish half, which worked out perfectly to share. I love their fresh juices. The maracuyá (passion fruit) juice is my go-to and never disappoints. Cozy vibes. Simple décor with vintage Miami newspaper prints and old cameras. My only gripe is that they didn't have almond milk available, which felt a little surprising for a coffee shop these days. Overall, great food, fresh ingredients, generous portions, and a cozy local vibe. We will definitely be back.

We dined in on a weekday. We were seated at the bar as there weren't any tables available (there are only 3 inside). To say this was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had would be an understatement. The bread was pillowy soft, the eggs were cooked to perfection , the cheese was beautifully melty. Also they were generously sized to boot. We also got a cookie to go which we forgot to photograph but was also delicious. Our water glasses were never empty and the fresh squeezed orange juice was an added bonus. We would definitely return.

This place is a gem! Parking is hell so if you can get there any other way, do but it was worth the aggravation of finding a spot. The Cafe con leche could use some work as its just machine made and good but not at the level of the food. The El pecado, was very sweet maybe too sweet after a bit. All that a side the food here is next level! The patria sandwich is hands down the best cuban sandwich I ever had, and I've had many. The ham croquetas are a beautiful thing, they seem tiny in size but pack a ton of flavor! The place is small and cute and has outside windows service, which is great if you are on the go. The staff was nice and speedy buzzing around. This place will be a Brunch stop on all our miami trips for sure! BUEN PROBECHO!

Tinta y Cafe serves up great coffee and amazing food in this charming little corner coffee house in the Gables. I've been here multiple times and not a single time has it ever let me down! The service here is nice and the all the staff are very friendly and chill. The spinach croquetas are an absolute must when you come here! I have never tried one prior to coming here and my girlfriend convinced me to try one and I can never look back! The sandwiches are great here, my favorite is the Patria, definitely one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've had in Miami. The coffee here is also really great I recommend El Pecado!

I've come here a few times because it used to be close to where you used to live and it was absolutely amazing. Their café con laches are so good. I recently went there and got a custom-made breakfast sandwich, which was absolutely amazing. I totally see the hype with this place now the seating inside is relatively small however they made it work especially like an a downtime. The service is really good too they were able to track my receipt and get me a new receipt when I asked. I love this place and I'll definitely be back. I have also gotten their croquettes as well as their guava pastries before and nothing here will disappoint.

you definitely know you're at the right window!

The cafe con leche will change your mind about whether you've really ever had coffee before or only ever had paltry coffee-adjacent drinks; tight parking, smallish outdoor seating area and a crowded tight indoor space, absolutely no one seemed to mind the press or the wait; absolutely everyone was all smiles both before, in anticipation, and after, in satisfaction. This place was somewhat of an event, in my book.

If you're into ham croquettes that actually mean business, this spot delivers. These croquetas were big, creamy, and packed with ham. Fresh, not overly salty, and clearly made with quality ingredients. I just wished they had a little extra seasoning to make the flavors pop even more. I also tried one of their sandwiches. The filling was tasty and felt high‑quality, but the bread was a bit firmer than I expected and not as sweet as the classic medianoche style. Still good -- just different. Now, let's talk timing: my food took about 25-30 minutes to come out, so this isn't a grab‑and‑go kind of place. But the pineapple juice made up for it -- super fresh, naturally sweet but not overwhelming. Overall, you can tell they use really good ingredients, and that alone makes me want to come back and try more of their sandwiches. Solid spot!

Small space, but a good breakfast spot if you're in the area and looking for some Cuban food. Finding parking is a pain in the @$$ cause all the street parking is for residents and the lot for their establishment only fits a few cars. Definitely try some of their house made croquetas, their sandwiches are filling and delicious. The only complaint I had was that their "large" coffee looked no different than a regular coffee so we ended up having to order more cause it was gone literally after a few sips. Service here is excellent.

Had such a wonderful time at Tinta y Café! It was my first time having authentic Cuban coffee and pastries, other than Porto's haha, and WOW... so, so good. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the coffee was incredible. Little Havana has so many great places and I'm so glad I came here . Our server was so kind and helpful and gave us great recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. I also really loved that they encourage guests to unplug and truly enjoy the moment, the coffee, the treats, and the company you are with. It made everything feel more special and intentional. Such a cozy spot with amazing vibes. Definitely coming back next time we're in Miami

Never been to this restaurant before. But we were excited to try a new Cuban restaurant. The staff worked together as a team and they worked quick with no mistakes. A plus! The inside was cozy and packed. Which is always a good sign. What a treat! The ham croquetas here I have to say are the best in Florida in my opinion! They have such a unique spanish flavor that I never tasted in croquetas anywhere. That there is what makes it special. I have never tasted such delicious ham croquetas in my life. I also ordered the beef pastry. So delicious as well. I wish these were more popular in general. That was so satisfying. Now every time I eat croquetas it's going to be a disappointment. It's a shame this restaurant isn't located in East Orlando. It would make life easier . Well I can't go on just about the croquetas, everything else we tried was delicious! No complaints! The three of us enjoyed the coffee we each ordered for ourselves. I ordered el pecado, black coffee and the café con leche. And for sandwiches we ordered the Italian, la patria and the croqueta sandwich with egg and cheese. I can't wait to return to Miami to go back! I will never forget!

When you go to Miami you have to try Cuban food especially when it's on the Michelin guide! This place is a cute cafe. A hole in the wall type of feel with a very tight parking lot. You can tell a lot of locals come here but it is more popular than your typical hole in the wall. The food is good! Cuban breakfast sandwiches and pastries and of course strong and good Cuban coffee. The service was great and our food came fast. Our sandwich was delicious as well as our guava pastry. If you are looking for a coffee shop that gives you the local neighborhood feel this is your spot! It felt authentic and it was delicious. Also it was very reasonably priced.

Cubano vibes con a relax atmosphere. This place hit the spot for my craving. Inside seating is community seating which means you may share part of the table with another group of people. Seating is limited and its first come. Or if you're on the go you can order at the walk up window. I got there for the breakfast menu which was perfect. The breakfast menu was perfect for my picky eater of a kiddo. You are able to build your own sandwich or plate. Which means you select how you want your eggs cooked, type of bread, type of cheese and sauce. I ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and manchego cheese mixed in together. As for the bread, I got media noche with calena sauce which is a cilantro sauce but it was very mild spread on like a baguette style bread. My kiddo got eggs, ham and manchego cheese on a croissant. Our were served on a plate and you can either build your own sandwich or just eat it right off the plate. As for my husband he got El Patria sandwich which is ham, pork, mortadella with Swiss cheese and mustard on Cuban bread. His was served with plantain chips. Everything was delicious and no crumbs were left behind. Staff was quick and super friendly. Don't forget on your way out grab a few pastries they are all delicious.

Ever since I found this little gem in Miami Shores, I can tell you it's the best café con leche in town. Definitely worth the drive and the wait to get the house famous croquetas. I also love the madurito sandwich.

I'm confused their Insta looks like they serve brunch---do they not and are they not open on Sunday?

Tinta y Cafe is closed on Sundays, always has been. They host another business, Sansara, that holds a pop up brunch there on Sundays. Different concept, different menu, equally delicious.

Can you get a Cuban sandwich for breakfast or can you only order off the breakfast menu?

You can always order the sandwiches

Even the people that works Avalon said it that the cuban lady had such a bad attitude with everyone and thats not good if your gonna work in a restaurant with that bad attitufde plz go home dont work like that?

No bad attitude observed during my visit. Cool little place.

Regardless when we arrived they sat us outside which is exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was nice at first. Explained all the popular dishes got our drinks out very quickly. I think she stole our table from someone else because shortly after someone came and we told them we put our order in and he seemed a little bothered. Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.
