If it were possible to give this no stars I would do it. Hands down this is the worst IHOP in the United States. Even by IHOP standards

This IHOP was absolutely horrible. This place is infested with roaches and they are doing nothing about it. I came in Thursday April 4th 2023 at 12 PM and sat down with my family to enjoy some breakfast. As our food was coming out one of our plates already had to be brought back to kitchen due to poor chicken quality in the Chicken and waffles dish. Later, when I got a Cranberry Juice as I was going to sip it a roach came crawling up the side of the cup almost to my hand. I was disgusted. When we asked for an employee to come to see that a roach was on the table she simply dismissed the matter and brought me the bill saying "they are fumigating the back and they usually start coming out". We than request a manager because the roach is still clearly on the table next to my food. Once again the matter was dismissed by the manager and made no apologies. I honestly didn't even feel like paying for this service. Why should we pay if we barely got to eat anything and there was a roach. Disgusting. They had us pay for our full meal with no compensation. This might be the WORST IHOP in Miami. read more

If I could give this location ZERO STARS I would ! First off let's talk about how they don't have a system and no type of organization during the whole pandemic situation. They had people fighting at the window when I arrived to pick up my food which then the police had to come and tell the employees how to do their job. People were waiting for 40+ mins for their food IN A LINE OUTSIDE. How do you not have a curbside system where people can be SAFE in their cars?! Then there were people coughing and taking their masks off STANDING IN THE LINE OUTSIDE WAITING because they don't have a safe system ! And nobody answers the phone, I was sitting on hold for 20 minutes as I write this review!!!! I will NEVER order or come to this place ever again. I'm not a stranger to this location, I've been a few times before and didn't have issues here before. But today I was in for a surprise. I should've seen the red flag when I asked for a Dr Pepper and they said they were out. But I unwillingly ordered a Pepsi which was flat anyways. My friend then ordered an appetizer that came with onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. I bit into the first tender, and to my disgust, it was RAW in the middle. So I cut the rest of the tenders and they were all raw in the middle. So we returned them and they gave us another set of nuggets which were properly cooked. Although the experience ruined my appetite, the entrees we ordered were not raw, so that's good I guess. Pretty gross and they still charged us for the raw chicken. Breakfast does not have to be complicated in my eyes. Simple is just great. IHOP seems to deliver that. I go often and its consistently decent and great for the value. I love the fajita omelette, with no sour creme and extra salsa with French toast and strawberry syrup. That's my breakfast weakness. AND, a pot of coffee. We have IHops here in Indy so when we arrived in Miami at 1030pm and was hungry this was the closest to our hotel that was open. Normally they are red, white, blue and bright. This location can truly use an overhaul.. it was dark, dingy and it looked like it was built in 1960. It made me feel like i had to check everything i used. The menu looked new and fresh....i ordered pancakes, bacon and eggs and it was alright....we did notice a man and woman came in and were seated and the manager seemed very excited and was running around waiting on them hand and foot....so we asked our waitress who they were and why the manager was all excited...becausw he never gave us service like that....she said because the woman was with child....really thats all. read more

I'm not one to place unrealistic expectations, especially on iHop, but this location really outdid itself this evening. Our waitress never asked us what we wanted to drink, we were brought waters without ice, my bacon was served almost completely uncooked, and then our food came out with TWO HAIRS IN IT. After 15 minutes of trying to get ahold of our waitress (as she kept disappearing) she scolded us for not having told her sooner. The food was never taken back or replaced (not that anyone would want to eat after that anyway). There was not even an offer to take the entirely uneaten food off our tab. Instead, she charged us twice for things we never received. The Table next to me was never cleaned up and the waitresses were all congregating at the cash register and never apologized when I was leaving. Do not order from here. This location was sooooo unorganized! I stayed at a hotel 10 mins away. I ordered online and it said that my food would arrive at 11:52 after ordering at 11am. It didn't arrive until 12:35. Then when it got here, it was cold, I was missing items and they only gave me 2 onion rings. The pancakes weren't cooked fully and someone messed up the flip so it looked like a triangle. The Turkey bacon was slimy still and the crispy has browns that I ordered for soft! IHOP is IHOP. If you've been to one, you generally know what you're going to get at any given location - some great pancakes and okay everything else. What I like about this location, however, is hard everyone works here. It's near Miami International Airport, and so there are a lot of hotel crowds here, particularly on weekends. Despite that the wait is never more than 10-15 min (unless you have a large party). The waitstaff and cooks do a great job getting out quality food, in quick time while still being pretty attentive. The parking lot is way too small however. That is the biggest drawback. read more

The lack of organization, proper communication, employee and guest health and basic customer service is the reason for this one star at this location. Context: I ordered breakfast at the restaurant to-go. I knew the location was busy and probably short staffed and so I did not mind waiting 15-20 minutes for my to-go order. And this is definitely not the reason for this rating. I received my order and returned to my hotel room. Only to find out not that they gave me someone else's order, but that my order was wrong. I'll save you the details, however, I called the restaurant, no one answered the phone and the automated answering hung up on me after being on the phone 15 minutes, with my food. So I returned to the location, with my food. After SEVERAL IHOP associates walked past me for about 10 minutes including the manager working this morning, standing at the front, with my food, I stopped the young lady that took my order. First thing she asked for was my ticket, as she continued to divide her attention. Then she took my food, placed my to-go trays IN THE WINDOW where other people's food was sitting and was going to sit, and told them what was wrong. Then the person in the back brought my tray that I took out of the restaurant, to my hotel, and back to the restaurant, to the back with her and placed what was wrong IN THAT TRAY and then placed it back in the window (not an actual window, just the place where they put orders that are ready to serve). After witnessing this, it was apparent that food safety, employee and customer health was not important at this place. After several staff walked past me in closing the manager, it was apparent to me that customer service was not important. After the young lady who took my order and the same person I had to come back to because it was wrong, never apologized, never offered to remake my order for the 45 minute inconvenience, just "fixed" what was wrong, and treated me like you're just another body in here, and the same person who could potentially put someone at risk by taking food from them and returning it to the kitchen and the place where everyone's food is, I realized that to the staff and the manager on duty this day, I nor anyone else that came through those doors to support the establishment they work at, was important to them. You are taking a risk eating at this place. I would never eat here again and think twice before eating at another IHOP. It seems as though there is a very laid back approach to taking care of the people that keep your doors open. read more

That made it even funnier. 17 years ago in Houston Texas I went on a first date, chaperoned, with my wife of 15 years. I waited at a Mexican restaurant for three hours because, in traditional Chilean fashion, she was late. When she and her cousins arrived they did not want Mexican food so we ended up at IHOP. Despite giving her two dozen flowers and a book filled with poetry about all the things I thought since I first saw her, she did not flee the restaurant in panic. Her cousins encouraged her to get out right away, which was very obvious by all the funny baseball signals they were giving each other! So now we are in Miami and on our anniversary we came to IHOP to enjoy the memories. However, the food at the IHOP in Houston 17 years ago was far superior than the crap they served in this one. Our orders were incorrect on every single dish that we received. Every time she came to the table we had to remind her of what we actually ordered so that she would go back and get the right food. I don't know who's food we ate, but she kept leaving the old food behind for us. At the end of the meal we asked for one of the dishes that she never remembered to bring, and a cup of water.
