I've been to this restaurant many times not only in Miami but other cities. Overall, I really appreciate the variety of pastries and dishes. As a vegetarian, they have a lot of different options. We got the egg sandwich which was decent, but didn't blow me away, and the dressing was a little heavy on the salad. We also got the peaches and cream French toast, which was really really delicious, I just wish they used fresh peaches, rather than canned. The coconut chia seed pudding was decent, I wish it was a little bit smoother, and the raspberry jam was also a little chunky. Finally, the waiter gave us a good tip about the bread, the side of bread is six dollars and if you buy a baguette and ask them to slice it, it's only four dollars, which is way more bread!! so we opted to get the baguette and then we were given all the Different spreads, which is honestly one of my favorite parts of this restaurant. So that is a hot tip, order the full baguette rather than the side of bread! The bread and the spreads are my favorite part of this whole breakfast, the coffee was pretty decent too. Overall, a solid breakfast place, and we will be back although it doesn't totally blow me away. read more

I HATE THIS PLACE SO MUCH. I used to come here a lot a couple years ago. I returned today and everything was horrible words can't describe how horrific everything is. The eggs now suck so much it's nasty they got rid of the best spread in the house for one of the worst I've ever tasted. The service super unhelpful and I hate this place now and I will never return. How to fix it? Bring back the speculos spread and the old scrambled egg recipe. This place is so mediocre. We got the avocado toast and eggs benedict. The avocado toast is made with packaged avocado, so it tasted super synthetic, they had real avocado on top and you can see the difference in color. The service was absolutely horrible! The menu here is so amazing my friend and I had such a hard time deciding what to get! What we did end up ordering was the Mini pancakes and Goat Cheese & Delicata Squash Toast. Both dishes were amazing! I love how unique the menu is, and I love the flavor profile of the dishes here. They have a good mix of sweet and savory options, and their pastries look amazing. And all things considered, the prices here are extremely fair! My meal came to about $20 including tip, which I feel like is less than what I have paid for less interesting places with smaller portions. The size of my toast was large, but was just perfect to fill me up, and the mini pancakes with fruit were also a fair sized portion. Not to mention the ingredients are so high end and unique I was surprised that the prices weren't twice as expensive. Our waitress was very kind and help us decide what to order on the menu. I love how there is indoor and outdoor seating here. Only thing is that parking can be a bit of a challenge, but we Ubered to the restaurant so we didn't have to deal with that. This is by far my favorite breakfast/brunch place in Miami now, and I will definitely be coming back. read more

First food stop once we checked in. Its a quaint spot with a healthier choice. Fresh baked bread also. I ordered the avocado toast with egg. I loved the marinated kale on top. It was definitely delicious and a nice size portion. Oh yea, it was on sour dough. My husband ordered the egg and avocado sandwich, he enjoyed it, especially the bread. I don't remember what type he had, maybe brioche. He doesn't usually eat this type of food so I'm glad he enjoyed it. I may have found the best casual breakfast/lunch restaurant in Coconut Grove. My friend and I ran on Bayshore Drive, and we came here afterwards for our post run breakfast. I think I want to have another breakfast there just remembering what our breakfast was mmmmm. I remember seeing one of their stores up north, but I never thought much of the franchise, much less dining in one. I'm glad they're in Coconut Grove of all places in Florida! The interior is quite large for a place where you can order coffee and baked goods to go from their case. There is seating on the first floor, and upstairs which overlooks the ground floor. Stopped here after visiting the fresh market to have some breakfast. We opted for seating indoors on the cute couches by the door. it was a got day and the AC was perfect. Inside they have dining in the first and second floors and let me tell you staff was amazing going up and down with no hassle. There's fresh breads being made and fresh coffee being served. There's also a cooler for a quick grab and go from chia bowls to fruit, sandwiches, yogurts,and drinks. We went over the menu and opted for the eggs in avocado bowl with fresh bread and then just made a simple breakfast for eggs, bacon, and toast. She seemed to have rage just for me being there! There were 2 other tables occupied with people working on laptops & having work meetings. This is such a small coffee shop but the quality of the lattes are so good! the barista was nice and helpful. What made us stop in was the ad for a crookie-- a cookie croissant. Right on main highway, it's a great spot for people watching. There is also indoor and upstairs seating available. There is a pastry counter where you can just walk in and order your pastries to go as well. My only complaint is that coffee is served in a bowl which would be fine if I was drinking something cold but not a very pleasant experience when you're drinking hot coffee without a handle on your mug ie bowl. Super nice place! The layout is unique; half of the restaurant is upstairs, and it's well put together. There are plenty of servers available, and there are many places to be seated. Also, the menu has a wide variety of different dishes, so you are bound to find something that'll peek your interest. We ordered four dishes: the dutch mini pancakes, a Belgian waffle, a yogurt parfait, and the croque monsieur. Everything tasted delicious! I can't speak to the service and ambiance much because we took our order to go, but I will say they had the worst mint lemonade I've ever had. I wish it was served in larger portions, but it's probably better that it is not. I would have no self control. The cucumbers and radishes paired well with the salmon and aioli. My friend had the turkey, bacon, and avocado tartine and it was just as good. Could not go wrong with either option. The same aioli was on it and the avocado was fresh! Bacon was nice and crispy. We both also ordered the pancakes and a bowl of fruit to share. To drink, I ordered regular black coffee and my friend ordered the iced green tea. I was happy to learn that the black coffee was refillable (free) and my friend was shocked to receive such a nice, large serving of tea!
