This IHOP is located directly on Highway 34/Bullsboro Drive and sits across from the large shopping center that houses Old Navy and Target. Parking is decent, it fills up on the weekends, but you have a few businesses next door where you can use for overflow if needed, but for the most part you should be able to find a spot. When you enter you come into a small waiting space that features the hostess stand, register and a small booth that lines the window wall. This area fills up quickly during busy times, which is always on the weekends...so be prepared to wait...you have been warned! Seating itself is a sea of booths with a back room that features tables for any large parties. In short, there is plenty of seating, may be dated seating, but it still does the trick! Service is always my issue with this location. I cannot remember one time we have visited, especially on our recent visits, where we received friendly service from entry to exit. The hostess is never welcoming and the servers are never engaged. I get they have a lot going on, but small adjustments to approach would make a big impact. Food wise this location is on par with all other IHOP's I have visited. I always get an array of items from the pancakes (of course) to the Country Fried Steak and even the burgers. I will say that as a brand, the quality of food they serve now is way below the standard that IHOP used to put out, so my visits are becoming less frequent for sure. I wasn't feeling well so I ordered curbside. No one to brought my order out. I get hone, about 5 minutes away and the food is cold, cheese is not melted, no butter and jelly for the hard toast. As I left, I looked in the kitchen where the two cooks were standing around talking and laughing with the servers and manager. No rush; not a care for customer service. Stopped for an early morning breakfast, I was one of three people in the building aside from the staff. Our waitress was very friendly and promptly took our order. I am a firm believer of the steak tips and eggs, or the split decision. Today I got the split decision. It was deliciously prepared as always. When we got there they asked if we were dining in politely (5 minutes before close). Just based on this experience I would come back. Haven't ate the food quite yet, just felt compelled to share the hospitality I experienced. I have to rate this as our experience here was probably the worst restaurant in Newnan in my opinion. We sat down and ordered. Food was fine. Star(s) deducted for service. We had to be somewhere at 1 pm and arrived at the restaurant at noon. There were only two of us. We ordered coffee, a sandwich and an omelette. No extras because we wanted to finish in plenty of time. The coffee and menus were provided quickly after we were shown to our booth. But after I added sweetener and cream, there was nothing to stir it with. I ended up using the straw that came with the water but would have preferred a spoon. It was unusual not to get the napkins and silverware when we first sat down. The server was prompt to take our orders but we had a longer than average wait for the food to arrive. Eventually it did, and STILL no silverware. I had to ask more than once and had just stood up to go after it myself when the server brought it. By now we had to eat in a rush; I ate half my sandwich and wrapped the other half in the napkin. We asked for our bill. It didn't take as long to arrive as the silverware, but by this time it looked like we'd be late for our 1:00. We went toward the front counter... there were two, perpendicular to each other. At one was a man sitting alone, so we went to him to pay. He waved us toward the other counter, which was busy with a line of new arrivals. Then we were told we'd have to wait for our server to check us out. We understand about restaurants being short- staffed but there seemed to be plenty of servers on site. Went there on January 8th around 7:30 pm. Walked in with 4 other people and waited for over 5 minutes before the person up front even looked up and greeted us as she was busy with a door dash or grub hub person picking up food. After they left we were told it would be 20 minutes before we could be seated. I thought it was a joke as there were maybe people sitting in 6-7 booths in the entire restaurant. Waitress claimed they had so many to go orders to fill, not sure what that had to do with us being seated and offering us some drinks while we looked over the menus. My boyfriend and I came here for breakfast this morning. Place was empty which was a little surprising for it being "breakfast rush" at the waffle house near our home. We ordered the chicken florentine and the swedish crepes. Our waitress was friendly and service was good. Apparently the chicken florentine recpe has chaned to include cheese instead of the hollandaise sauce. The waitress informed us in advance and allowed us to order 1 the old way (with the hollandaise) and 1 the newer version with the cheese. They were both good but I prefer the taste with the hollandaise. The waitress informed us we can always order the older versions of any of their new recipe items on the menu. Upon arrival, my mother asked the waiter, Travion, if he could put his mask above his nose - so as not to spread germs. She was not rude, she was simply asking him to be considerate of others' health during this trying time. For the time being, he covered his nose. After he came back with our drinks, his mask was back below his nose. In retaliation to my mother's request, he decided to be petty and serve my mother a warm drink while giving everyone else at the table a cold drink. Though this may seem miniscule, it ruins the integrity of this establishment for me. If you would respond to a simple request in that manner, what else would you do to the rest of our food and drinks? Although the rest of the servers were polite, I do not agree with this establishment's handling of COVID-19. He was not the only one wearing his mask below his nose. I go here all the time. Everything is great except the pancakes. Kind of ironic, but there it is. I feel like they're the "filler" part of the meal, something cheap to fill you up so you don't eat the better food. If I order a meal that includes pancakes, I'll substitute something else. That's a gripe I have with IHOP as a whole rather than this location, so I won't factor it into the overall rating. On the other hand: the prices are cheap, the service is good and fast, and the food like eggs and bacon is always cooked to order well. One other thing, if you order hash browns, be sure to ask for them softer, because they seem to like them crunchier than I do. Some people do, but I like them to be on the softer side. A good friend and I went to IHOP on Rt 34 in Newnan, hoping for a hot breakfast. The restaurant was not busy, perhaps 1/4 of the tables occupied, so the LONG time to order and longer time to get food were unjustified; the food arrived cool (pancakes wouldn't even start to melt the butter on them) and my eggs were over cooked to leather consistency. Sausages were blah and tasteless, and the coffee, while decent, was overheated to a slightly scorched flavor.
