The service is horrible! Our first server was so rude that we asked for a new one. The new server cashed us out and then proceeded to hover over us as we were filling out the credit card reciept. I went to this IHOP as usual is my go to every doctors appointment because I want some pancakes they were having a special Monday through Friday you get the two x two x two for $4.99 with all you can eat pancakes. So we go in and there's not at the front to greet us. The restaurant looks amidst empty. Finally a man come up asking how many and tells us to have a seat in the waiting area. We are finally seated given menus and told someone will be with us shortly. When our waitress comes over to take our drink order, she asked it we were ready to order? I ask her about the 2x2x2deal with all you can eat pancakes. She grabs the menu and says no this is the all you can eat pancakes deals. My daughter tries to show her the special on my phone we asked her several times very politely about it. She starts screaming no and throwing the menu at my daughter who flips it back at her. I set in because the whole restaurant is looking at our talk. She leaves talks to the manager who is peeping over to see what's going on never came to the table to find out what the problem is. The next thing you know we have a new waitress who answers our question that they are not participating with that offer but will honor it for us. In the meantime our old waitress is going around the restaurant talking about us to the staff and customers. Will needless to say we're ready to leave, been made to feel very uncomfortable after coming here for years with not problems. I decide to talk to the manager. On approaching him he looks at me like he's annoyed and doesn't want to address her unprofessional behavior. He keep looking pass me saying he's sorry for her actions. I tell him she is going around talking about us and dies nothing but keep saying he's sorry. I feel his attitude is not sincere go back to my table very uncomfortable now. Just for the fact they gave us such a hard time . We get our food pay the check and leave. Never again will get our support for this IHOP. My server, Asia was great but the cook continued to argue with her. She asked persistently where was my family's food but to no avail. He then proceeded to yell at her from the kitchen. There were other patriot hat arrived after my family and I that weren't using my server but received their food before my family. Coming from retail mgmt, this isn't something that you do. I also know that this restaurant is hiring and you need more customer oriented workers. I've been coming those location many times as I live nearby. Please have a conversation with the cook to not have the patrons suffer because of your personal issues. read more

By far the best IHOP I've ever visited. It's always crowded and busy. Somehow, the staff always manages to be efficient and the food is good. I recently got the spinach omlet. I'd say IHOP has the best breakfast omlet of any of the corporate restaurants I've ever gone to. If you are in the hood, you must check it out. read more

Honestly upset with the service, when you park the outside looks horrific but the inside is a little better. When we were seated the the booth looked like it had barely survived a knife fight. The tables were covered in splotches and worn down. The worst of it all is our waiter barely cared, she didn't smile, tried to get out of a conversation and away from us as fast as she could. As for the food it was average, nothing out of the ordinary. Overall the service was terrible and the place looked horrible as well. Would not suggest going here for your food. Seeing all these good reviews makes me so upset and how many times I've had a bad experience here. Every server I've had has been HORRIBLE. I myself am a server and I know how a server should be with their tables. My server the previous visit she didn't speak up when speaking to us, she didn't repeat back our order and just walked away, she didn't bring sugar for our coffee, she didn't bring out sour cream or salsa for an omelette that was ordered nor checked to make sure everything was fine. I'm sorry but next time I'd rather make my own food at home then deal with the servers at this location. If you don't want to be there than why work? I usually like IHOP, but today my family waited a whole hour to get our food then the manager anr and had to remorse or regard for the wait time. She just said he was new and apologized. They were so unprofessional because while we ordered, he (Jhonnie) kept saying "Are you sure? It's a extra cost." I highly doubt that $1.48 would have broken us! When we got the bill, I realized after he swiped my card that we were over charged. Instead of him taking my card back and reversing the transaction, he came back to the table with cash .... Mind you, this is AFTER he took the tip off of the table! So clearly he gave us back money from the undeserved tip that we gave him. This was a horrible experience and we won't be back! They need better training for their staff and a more professional manager. read more

All i can say is WOW... This IHOP has really nailed what customer service is all about. I go out with my kids once a week and we usually go to Dennys. But the past few times we came here.. The food is AWESOME....You cant go wrong with Pancakes.. I ordered the steak tips and eggs.. The steaks was tender and delicious with the perfect marinade... My daughter got the Cini-stack pancakes.. Which tasted exactly like a Cinibun... Our servers name was Tega.. She was a cute little African server who was extremely knowledgeable and knew just about everything on the menu.. Give that girl a raise!!! Kudos to the management staff.. The ownership must've changed because i remember coming here years and years ago... The place used to be awful and had a weird smell coming from the bathrooms... Now the bathrooms have been completely remodeled.. Place is always clean and has a sense of home when you walk in.. I love ihop and have been to all the ones in this area but this is the only one I return to on a regular basis.Others are dirty and not well kept and staff just seem like they could care less about you or anything for that matter. By far the worst IHOP I've ever been to. Food was ok, the problem is they don't clean and treat customers very poorly. In order to get to the bathroom I had to walk all the carpeting onto the tiling next to the wall. Little did I know the tiling was a bit greasy making it very slippery and I fell pretty hard. Broken teeth and ambulance ride later to add insult onto it they said that it couldn't possibly been my their fault the floor was so slippery and to add to that they accused me of passing out as the reason I fell. Best IHOP I've ever been to. The service was top notched. We were seated immediately even though it was busy. Our friendly server took our customized order without confusion. Our food came out fast and hot. The bacon was perfectly cooked. The pancakes were fluffy. The coffee was rich. My soda was refilled without even asking. Hello my wife and I went to Ihop on Belair Rd this morning because she wanted a good breakfast. I work right around the corner so we decided to stop there before I went to work. Our server was not that great, We watched her carrying plates of food to customers against her apron. After about 5 minutes she finally took our order. Once i got my breakfast sampler I decided to cut my pancakes so while cutting the pancakes they moved and I noticed a piece of hair under my pancakes. Immediately I went over to our server and asked for the manager. After a couple minutes he came over and I showed him the hair and he apologized for it. He advised me of some policies about short hair for the cooks and hairnets. I told him about our server should not hold food against her apron and he agreed but we still watched her doing the same thing. He advised me that he could not comp our meal but will take something off. I was so nausea from the hair , I really did not want to eat anything after seeing the hair. When we finished, the server gave us our check and there was nothing discounted so I advised her that the manager was supposed to take something off. Once we got to the register the lady did not know anything about the discount so we had to explain everything to her. The total was 22 and change and they charged us 19 and change so I assume they took 10% off. We did not have a good experience there so we are not sure about going back to that restaurant. read more
