MY RATING: 2.5 ORDER TYPE: Dine-in MEAL: Breakfast MY ORDER EXPERIENCE: We went to this restaurant in the early hours after traveling a lot of miles. This was the only restaurant which was opened in our location at the time thanks to IHOP 24 hours service. I was expecting that the restaurant would be quiet and there would be no one at the time we went but there were still people at two tables. There was only one waiter in the restaurant who was serving whoever came in. The waiter made us sit in the booth, handover the menu and then eventually ice water. By the time our food arrived, there were no other customers at the restaurant so it was calm and peaceful. I ordered Strawberry Banana pancakes, which was an IHOP Signature dish. It comes with 4 pancakes with fresh sliced bananas and topped with glazed strawberries and more banana slices. I also ordered Hash Browns as a side. I also asked for additional syrup for the pancakes and pepper for the hash browns. As soon as the pancakes arrived, the presentation was mouth-watering and I was ready to attack it. It had a good amount of fruit on it and as I was drilling down, the pancakes did not seem that great and weren't cooked very well. They were out of shape, were not soft and some of them did not have the golden-brown outside but were cooked through. The hash browns were good with the pepper. As I was hungry, I finished the whole thing. The pancakes at IHOP are good and popular, but at the time of our visit, they weren't great. PROS: You can get good food 24 hours a day They have a very good Build Your Own option where you can customize as you like

First of all our server did not write down our order, to me that is very unprofessional she could have at least acted or pretended she was writing it down. The moment our food was brought out she immediately brought our checks out as if she wanted us to leave, very unprofessional you should never give checks so early into the experience. The eggs were undercooked and the yolk was sour? That makes no sense to me!!! How can an egg yolk be sour and undercooked!!! The sausage was either raw and pink in the inside or it was extremely burnt and hard... VERY unappetizing. The gravy was like porridge it was clumpy but very watery at the same time????? It was freezing cold and it tasted like water with salt and pepper?!?!? The bacon was extremely chewy and VERY tiny. The hash browns were HARD AS A ROCK!!!!. I hate to be that kind of person but this is not okay...

    Raw pancake

Pancakes were literally still batter in the middle and my eggs were borderline raw too

The food was good but the chicken tenders were very small. We did take out and it was pretty quick.

So many get it wrong and make the yolk partially hard which I don't like.

There are relatively few dining options in Mansfield Ohio on a Sunday, thankfully Hudson and Essex is one that is available! We arrived without Reservations and seated in the dining room. We usually prefer the bar; however, as it was Sunday dinner, we wanted to be more proper. On Sundays, they do offer a dinner menu and a Sunday dinner menu. Their Sunday dinner menu is very good! We've had offerings on it before and have never been disappointed. This time we did decide to order off the regular menu. After ordering a round of cocktails to start with, we ordered a jalapeño flatbread appetizer special to start. Must say that that flatbread was extremely delicious and hot! The jalapeño slices could've been deveined and deseeded to tame the heat a little. For our main courses, I ordered their Caesar salad with blackened chicken, my wife their small filet, and mom their pierogi appetizer. Our meals came out well presented and delicious! It was the first time I've ever had their Caesar salad and I enjoyed it immensely. My wife always enjoys their steak and my mom raved about the pierogies. No formal desserts were ordered; however, I ordered a last word, which was delicious! Alec really is a great bartender and can make just about anything! All in all, another well done dinner at Mansfield's best restaurant!

Having grown up in Youngstown, OH, and having lived near New Haven, CT, I have eaten a lot of wonderful Italian Food. We didn't want to wait for a table to open up in the regular restaurant so we decided to eat at the GASTRONOMIA Italian Deli (same kitchen as the back restaurant). My wife is handicapped and some very kind ladies moved to a "high" table so we could sit at a lower table. We ordered from a young lady with the most amazing blue eyes and she brought our food when it was ready. My wife had the Muffuletta Sub and I had the Mighty Meatball Sub. My wife could only eat 1/4 of her sandwich and I could only eat 1/2 of mine. If you have ever lived in one of the two places I mentioned, you know good Italian . This was WONDERFUL Italian. I can't wait to go back there!

Buckeye Bakery - The Sweetest Shark Attack in Mansfield…read more Wandered into Buckeye Bakery on a mission for donuts... and walked out like a sugary Santa Claus. I picked up a dozen-mix of joy: Long Johns, glazed classics, cinnamon rolls (the kind that whisper "just like Mom used to make"), and pecan rolls that should come with a warning label: "May cause spontaneous joy." Dropped them off with friends and boom--gone in two days, like a Netflix binge with frosting. High praise was given. Teeth were thanked. Waistbands were stretched. But I didn't stop there. Oh no. I went full dessert diplomat and made a fast-follow with peanut butter cookies and some shark cookies, because hey--it's Shark Week, and nothing says "celebrating apex predators" like chomping into one made of sugar and love. Verdict: Donuts: Fluffy, fresh, and clearly baked by folks who take their carbs seriously. Cookies: Delicious and festive--like eating a holiday. Vibe: Old-school bakery charm with new-school treat game. Next time I'm in Mansfield, I'm diving back in. Sharks beware. I bite back.

I showed up, told the wonderful women behind the counter that I'm not from here (TX here on a 6 month job), that I have zero idea what anything is in their display case because nothing in Dallas looks this good and just pick me 6 of the best things they have. 3 of the 6 never made it back to my jobsite that's 10 minutes away. The raspberry Danish, the deep fried glazed ball of heaven and the chop suey never stood a chance in the truck with me. When I did make it back, my local subcontractor looked at the box, KNEW I went to Buckeye Bakery and said "You did good". Overall, they're about to make me gain 20 pounds and lose all my money. Thanks, I guess.

Incidentally , said items were maintained in great shape , with the original booths and chairs at some point re-covered and new carpeting installed . At any rate , the place was clean , the food delicious , the service prompt and efficient , and the long time wait staff cordial and chatty . Long time customers knew each other from weekly ( or even daily ) visits for the breakfast , lunch and dinner specials , which gave the environment a true family style feel .
