We LOVED our food!!! The Cesar salad alone is worth going for! The lettuce was crisp and cold and the plate was chilled! I was I love. That goes the same for the ribs and potato skins! We shared a rack and ended up eating half of the half each and finishing it the next day with the leftover potato skins (both which reheated perfectly) between the complimentary bread (which was fabulous) and the amazing food and atmosphere I will be a returning customer!!! We went on an uncharacteristically busy night according to our sweet and apologetic waitress but I don't feel we waited long at all. The bread helps lol. It is a typical chain with the typical choices, like an Applebee's etc We had intended on going to a local place while in the Mansfield area, but apparently none of the locals like to work on Sunday ha ha. That was disappointing, but back to the review...we were seated right away, but waited & waited for a server. Had to get up and ask for one. Once we did get our server, she was apologetic and very friendly. We had heard they're known for their chicken tenders, all 4 of us ordered them, 2 of us got the 1/2 slab baby back combo. Everyone really enjoyed our meals. A salad was offered as a side which is really nice, it was pretty big and fresh. If you're in the mood for that type of atmosphere, I'd say it is a good choice. O'Charley's more like Oh Hell No. Sat a the restaurant for 12 minutes before we were asked if we wanted a drink. 10 minutes later I had to remind the oh so attentive waitress that my fiance asked for coffee. After sitting for another 20 minutes, well, no one to be seen to assist. Time to go. What an incredible waste of an evening. I will choose more wisely next time. read more

We can usually count on a pretty good meal for the price, but tonight was a disappointment. I ordered a half rack of ribs and they were so tough i brought it home. Ill try to maybe put on slow cook & try to make bbq sandwiches. Added bacon egg to my salad cost $1.99 & $.99. I thought she was just asking if i wanted them in my salad, not realizing it was an extra cost. Iced tea is now $2.99. The waitress was exceptionally attentive & accurate with our order. A couple of pieces of silverware were dirty. I hope this is not a sign of poor management because this has always been a good place to eat read more

At this particular location, I can attest to the excellent customer service from the employees and the managers. If we were ever displeased with our food, it would be redone. The managers personally come around and ask you if you are happy each time. I love their curly fries, chicken tenders and their steaks. The bread that comes with the meals is also great. I have eaten 100$ steaks at Riva's in Chicago and the same taste was present in the food here! Their bartender makes amazing drinks. Talk to her and let her make you a drink after figuring out what you like. read more

Did a doordash order on a Saturday night. Three meals with desert. They forgot a side on one order, changed the requested preparation method on another, and cooked the steak on the third to Jerky. The y messed up on two of the three deserts, leaving off ingredients on both. Abag of hot rolls, but no butter or anything for them. 1 star because you cannot give a half star and the rolls were good. read more

OUR GO TO RESTAURANT WHEN FRIENDS or FAMILY ARE IN TOWN! -They start you off with soft bread rolls -Kids eat free (the meals aren't chinzy sizes either) -The food is always delish...from buffalo tenders, to cornmeal breaded whitefish, to bacon & bourbon glazed filet mignon, to honey drizzled southern fried chicken and teriyaki chicken over rice, etc. -They have free pie on Wednesday's -The service isn't always fast pace, but they're informative and friendly and keep up in the refills! I have been eating eat the bar while on the road for the last couple of weeks. The pot roast meal was OK. They have a good chicken fingers. Soda machines that they have there are medicore at best - not sure if they use Coke or Pepsi products - my guess would be a knock off brand. read more

Won't go back and here is why. I was with a group of friends. The server took forever to come to our table for our drink order. She didn't get the drinks right, took forever for them to bring us our appetizer. One of my friends ordered her meal without bacon and it came with bacon. Didn't get our drinks refilled. Food was mediocre at best. I know w won't be back. It's unfortunate I was hoping it got better. But things in that place never changed. read more

The $4 margarita sounded amazing on a hot summer day but when it arrived it was so tart I couldn't drink it. Tasted like it didn't have alcohol in it at all either. My salmon was on the thin side but my sides were great though I had to upswell to get asparagus and sweet potato fries. The rest of the family enjoyed the food and our waitress was ok. It was clean though and they got us right in and it was great to have free kids meals for our smallest family members but our check was the same price as if we had paid for them so not a total sell on that. Our glasses were empty more than ten minutes each time and the chicken strips tasted a bit stale. Overall for the price we will probably choose another restaurant next time. read more

What was not understandable is standing there while waitstaff looked at us and not a single one made an attempt to get someone to seat us or at least let us know someone would come. Amazing, the CF steak was great. Gravy was perfect and the mashed potatoes, while being a little undercooked were still very delicious. Hubby got the steak and shrimp and it was very good. The wait staff is good and kept the drinks full and made sure we were happy with the meal. read more

Seems to be a theme here for those who had a less than enjoyable experience. My wife and I in the past have been at O Charlie's with a good size group, and had a really good dinner. Since it's been a while since my wife and I had been there, we decided to try It again. The four dollar Margarita was too tart and no alcohol. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta dinner and my wife had the fish and chips. Service was friendly, even though the hostess seemed to have some sort of attitude not just with us but with other customers as well. Our waitress had one table, it was us, and the service was pretty slow. We wasn't in any hurry but it was definitely noticeable. My sticking point was when my dinner arrived it was only a small portion of chicken, so I set it to the side so the waitress could see how much was there. She said that's a full breast of chicken sliced up, don't you see the small pieces in your pasta. I wish I'd taken a picture of it was hilarious, but I never send anything back. I worked at a restaurant, and understand what sometimes happens when people send food back. To the managers credit she came right over and ask if everything was OK. I'm thinking maybe they're starting to get used to complaints, because she was right there. It's not a big deal, but I wouldn't want others to order the same thing and have the same experience. I just ate the few pieces of chicken and a couple of forkfuls of the pasta, and set it to the side. Service was slowwwww, and we were her only table. Finally had to locate another waiter so we could pay and leave. I think she was back in the kitchen eating some of my chicken that she pinched . The funny thing was, is that prior to to going to O'Charlies my wife said, hey why don't we go to Fazoli's. I said no, I want to go someplace good. For what I had, Fazoli's would have been a much better deal. Actually, I think a Wendy's dollar chicken sandwich would've provided more chicken. I'm giving it two stars because my wife had an excellent dinner, 3 big pieces of fish and good French fries. So go figure. I think the place is on its way down. I have never been a big fan of this chain, but since we have moved to the area we have eaten here a lot of times and I can say that the food and the service is consistently good. My husband and I have tried something different every time and it has always been satisfying and reasonably priced. The waiters are very friendly and often tell us what they love to eat, and I appreciate that if I haven't tried it before. We will always come back! read more
