This is a good IHOP. The food was solid, and very consistent with other locations. The dining room was clean, and the server was pretty attentive. The breakfast sampler is a steal - 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 bacons, 2 tiny ham wedges, and hash browns. And of course, the syrups are great. I got the protein pancakes and they were not bad. Not as light and fluffy as the original, but you can taste the flavor of the oats, which was nice. They are a little dry, though, so they really suck up the syrup. The main drawback was the cleanliness of the bathroom. At 10 am on a Wednesday morning, it was filthy in a way that made me glad I went in after I ate. read more

Came in right before valentines day and had Jordan taking care of us. Super attentive and overall a great experience. Food was average but you got alot of it. Not the biggest fan of their gravy, which was atop my chicken sandwich. They definitely make sawmill styled gravy. The fries went great with their honey mustard. They were busy but the manager seated us right away. We hadn't even settled into the booth when our server, Malak, was at the table to take our drink orders. We both ordered the quick 2 egg breakfast. True to the name, it came out quickly. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our only complaint is that it's rather loud, but then again, it's IHOP, not a five star restaurant. Our server was efficient and friendly; she kept us in refills and even cleaned condensation from our glasses from the table when she picked up the empties. When we first arrived, there were only 4 tables with customers. My dad ordered unsweetened tea, was brought sweet. We then told our waitress, 8 minutes or so later, and she brought back sweet tea again. We gave up on getting unsweetened tea for him. It then took 45 minutes to get our meal, I had a 2x2x2 with soft scrambled eggs, got medium scrambled, verging on hard scrambled, and my pancakes were salty and unedible. My dad had the steak tips with over medium eggs and a waffle, it took an additional 10 minutes after we got our food for them to bring his waffle. Needless to say, the food was sub par, and that is almost too nice and the service was worse! We are from TX and vising MD to see family and we will NOT recommend or come back to this location. Wish I had read Teri's review from seven days ago. She was spot on! I waited so long to be seated I just grabbed a menu and seated myself. The waitress came to ask me if I wanted anything to drink and then was gone 15 minutes. Upon her return I got to order. My order came in what seemed a reasonable amount of time but my pancakes were cold. She ran away so fast I couldn't tell her. At this point I didn't care because I was hungry so I just asked for butter for my pancakes. Everywhere else I've ever been there's been butter on the pancakes. Well that was another 15 minute wait for butter. Not once did she check on me to see if i needed anything. But the worst was when I went to check out. There's so much going on at the register that people that are eating there and want to pay have to wait for stupid stuff. You have to wait for the people that are picking up stuff for delivery services. You have to wait for the guy who is manning the register and doesn't know how to do it. You have to wait because at the register they have a "coffee bar "which has to be manned by somebody and that appears to be the person at the register. I finally saw my waitress because she had to come bail the cashier out. I decided to pay in cash and for some reason she didn't want to give me change out of the register so I had to wait for her to go into the back and get some money. Well where she went was the kitchen and she came out carrying plates three minutes after she told me she was going to get my change. So i asked for my $4.75 change and she puts someones order down to hand me my change. Wondering how long I would've had to wait for change had I not sought her out? Anyway she's handling germy cash and then delivering food to someones table. None of this is Covid related including staffing because there were at least four people working there and they were not busy. This is a case of yet another chain giving priority to delivery services over people Who are dining in and tipping waitstaff. This was my 2nd time at this location and both times were subpar. I really wanted to give this place at least 4 stars but could not due to service. My grandparents wanted to eat here so we came for lunch. It took roughly 10 minutes before an employee appeared in this mostly vacant diner. Eventually, someone came over to seat us. It was another 15+ minutes before someone came to take our drink order. The delay in bringing our drinks to us was so long that I almost got up to pour me something from the soda fountain and make coffee for my grandparents. When we finally got our food it was good but we had been there so long that we were over the whole experience. I understand that there is a staffing shortage but there is zero reason for the exaggerated delays of seeing someone on the floor that we experienced. read more

But this IHOP is just little bit better than others I've visited, and we had such a nice time I just had to tell. I brought the kiddos after swim practice around 0930 on a Wednesday morning. We were immediately greeted and seated by a smiling employee. Nice. Our waitress, Jade, was obviously someone who likes kids (or does a great job of pretending, lol) because both of them actually spoke to her! They are usually very shy about talking to waitstaff and have their grownups order for them. But on this occasion, both felt comfortable giving their order to her. She joked with them a little, gently. She paid attention and really listened when they spoke. So my vote is, Jade likes kids! ;) IHOP is predictable ... except not this time. My grandson wanted just one pancake - OK, two - with a side of whipped cream. And believe it or not, she brought him a cereal bowl that was full of whipped cream! Tell me you will get that at another IHOP?!? It was far more than he needed, but the point is, they were so accommodating. I had breakfast - usually I don't, but was famished for some reason - and it was cooked perfectly. My DGD's bacon was "limp", as she likes it. Mine was really crispy, as I like it! We don't go out to eat very often because the food is usually "meh", so disappointing but today we chose to go to IHOP. It is so refreshing to go out for a meal and get such great service and hot delicious food! Our wait person was Echo, who was very pleasant and attentive. It was only minutes after our placed that it was coming out to our table. My husband had the fried fish and shrimp which was fresh tasting (clean oil) and crispy (oil at proper temperature). We went there with some family who were visiting from Washington State. The server was great, she did let me run out of coffee once, but after teasing her about it she kept me full. Lol. The food took a very long time. The manager finally came over and apologized. She said that most of the kitchen staff walked out on her. We didn't ask why, none of our business, but she did give us a 50% discount on the meal. On the bright side, the slow food gave us time to catch up. The absolute worst IHOP in the nation. I've been all over the country and this IHOP is consistently one of the worst dining experiences during my time in MD. Getting seated is slow, The food is always slow, the place never really looks clean, if the tables are clean they are wet, do not come here if you are on any kind of schedule. I occasionally crave eggs Benedict and rather than drive to first watch I decide to see if this place has fixed itself and am always surprised to find no changes and yet still they have enough business to keep their lights on. I would recommend skip this place and try either the bob evans, four corners deli, or even McDonald's. IHOP my favorite breakfast chain needs to take ownership of this problem or cut their franchise off it is obviously a management issue, probably run by the same low standards POS that runs the local dirty Wendy's. read more

Recommend you not go to this IHOP unless you have plenty of time to kill and aren't too hungry. The wait is forever. At a time when they are running 2 promotions, kids eat free and unlimited pancakes, there were only 2 waiters and 1 cook. Our server had numerous tables and was also hosting and seating newly arriving customers. This store is routinely understaffed and poorly managed. The servers did their best, but could not handle the amount of responsibilities. Our food was served a little at a time, sides came long after the main dish was brought out. My husband and I ate here Sunday. It was cool we went in the morning. It wasn't too busy. When we arrived it was a lady out front attempting to sign people up for LA fitness. When were seated right away when when went inside. We like the look of the restaurant. They also had a coffee bar which was pretty good. Our server was nice. I can't remember her name right now. It did take too long after ordering our food to receive it. But they did have to take my food back to prepare my red potatoes because they gave me hash browns that I did not order. Dude, I am absolutely fed up with this place. The new look is modern and clean but the service is crap which affects the quality of food. I have been here several times and I really do want to like it, but they have disappointed too many times. The food itself is actually tasty, but the food always takes forever to come out, so the food every time I get it is barely warm. Today we ordered two pancake entrees and an omelette - it shouldn't take a half hour to get that to your face. These are quick serve items. By the time I get it, I'm too hungry to send it back and guzzle it down. Frustrating and disappointing. I'm not sure if this is a kitchen or server issue but the server never refilled our drinks and when she ask how our meal after a long while she didn't really wait for answer and zoomed by. I love iHop and I wanted to visit this one since it is new to the area. I came here for Father's Day so I expected a wait. After 25 mins, I finally was seated. The place was nicely laid out with plenty of seats. When we sat down, the table didn't have any silverware or condiments. It was a huge deal, but i had to ask for it. The food came out after about 30 minutes, which was pretty long since it was only three of us, and the place wasn't overly crowded. When the food came out, I was missing an item and had to ask on three separate occasions. Finally, I gave up, at the rest of the food so it wouldn't get cold. Decided to try this place out for breakfast with my children today. I was pretty excited for this place since it's closer to my house and has a coffee bar. We arrived around 9:30 and service was very prompt. Our server was awesome and attentive. I ordered a latte and French toast and my daughter had the Rooty Jr. We maybe waited 10 minutes for our food which was great. I ordered my eggs over easy and it was excellent. I find eggs this style are hit or miss at most places and this place was definitely a hit. Everything came out excellent. No sad, sloppy diner food like I've received at other IHOPs. Huge props to the kitchen! Why 4 stars? Only because they didn't have soy milk for their lattes =(. It was an option on the menu but they didn't have any on hand. Maybe next time. read more

Used to like this IHOP. When it opened it was run well. The food was hot, service good. But nowadays due to the loss of manpower things have really changed. But there is one thing and only one thing that is so unacceptable that will prevent us from ever returning. Mice in the dining room. We sat down and when the waiter went to get our water, we saw a mouse scoot across the floor. Needless to say we were out of there. Mice may be in the stockroom occasionally, but if they get to the dining room, then you have a real problem. So goodbye for good IHOP, we'll miss you. read more

The coupon stated in the fine print that it was for Dine In only. You see, I've been feeling under the weather over these past few days and the last thing I wanted to do is sit by myself in a restaurant that was beginning to fill with people. I kindly asked the manager if I could just get my free pancakes to go and she gladly accepted my coupon and accommodated my request. By the way, all of your staff are very nice and friendly with smiles on their faces which was great. I was able to enjoy my strawberry pancakes in the comfort of my own bed along with my germs :-) A cool feature that I like about you, new IHOP, is that you have this coffee bar area with cafe style beverages, breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast bowls. Tip- the credit Card transaction posts as "Harvest Pasadena Inc. " , I almost disputed the transaction because I did not recognize it. Otherwise, clean, good food , above average for an IHOP. Service was prompt and although I can really challenge the "bottomless coffee pot" , she nailed the timing on the refill ! Came here with the family because my mom has a thing for ihop. We figured it was new and hadn't had time to get run down yet. 5 adults and 2 kids at 5:30 on a Wednesday. The place was about a quarter full and we were immediately seated and our order taken. And we waited, and waited and waited. Finally saw the manager and asked her to check and it was still another 5+ minutes. And then orders were wrong. My poor niece still had to wait for her waffle. I could've made the whole meal three times over in that amount of time. The food itself was good even though I'm still hungry. Got the California scramble. Good but small. Hubby got the Cobb salad. They dress it for you which isn't cool if you want to watch calories. Then of course theres the normal assortment of pancakes and stuff. Never been or ordered from this location before. Since it was raining on Mother's Day we decided to use Door Dash for breakfast delivery. All went well until we started eating the sausage gravy biscuit. There was mold on the biscuit, how gross. That's pretty nasty! Never again we will use this location for anything. i went with my family yesterday. when we got sat down we waited 20 mins to get serve. we order our food right away. we order our drinks it was a strawberry milkshake a regular apple juice and a kid apple juice.
