AM Superfoods Bowl next to an average size coffee mug
    Tiffany J.

This is a DoorDash order review. Ordered DoorDash for breakfast this morning from First Watch. We ordered the traditional breakfast, kids egg breakfast and AM superfoods bowl. I received the AM Superfoods bowl in a small cup, $15 for a small cup of food and some toast. Do better! I understand that food prices have gone up but this is totally unacceptable. In the restaurant they give a beautiful "normal" size bowl with enough to take home. It's insulting to loyal customers and stock holders (yes I am a stock holder) of this business.

Recently came here for breakfast. Wait wasn't too bad thanks to their handy waitlist function via the web or their app. Upon seating we were greeted and our order taken. Our food came out minutes within us ordering it. My waffle was hot and fresh. Cooked perfectly. Crispy outside and tender on the inside. I washed it down with one of their delicious fresh pressed juices, the kale tonic. It was very fresh and crisp. Check out was speedy. You can either pay before leaving or scan the receipt and pay that way. I'll definitely patronize again.

Why would anyone put onions chopped this size into (basically) an omelet?!?

I work in the area and frequent this place for lunch (carryout). I usually get the turkey club and tomato soup. DELICIOUS every time. However, one 12/17, my coworkers and I came here for a sit-down lunch. I ordered the Frittata... WHY ARE THERE SO MANY ONIONS AND WHY ARE THE ONIONS SO BIG?!? Oh my gosh. LOL. It would have been delicious had the onions actually been chopped or something. The onions in the pic were taken from just HALF the frittata that was leftover. It was really hard to enjoy the meal like this. I gave it 4 stars because I've never had a complaint about the meal I normally get for lunch. If I had to rate the frittata, it would be a 2.

This was probably one of the nicer locations I've been to. The hostesses were very friendly and made some recommendations we enjoyed, including these pancakes. The food was top notch.

First Watch is a great place to grab breakfast or lunch. They have a wide selection of beverages, including coffee, teas, fresh juices, sodas and even brunch cocktails. They also have plenty of options for breakfast from your classics eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, etc. to healthier options like avocado toast, oatmeal, granola bowls, etc. They also offer sandwiches, salads and a kids menu. All in all they have something for everyone, and can accommodate if you have a special dietary request. I opted for The Traditional, which included a choice of two eggs, turkey links, seasoned potatoes, and a side of whole grain toast with house made preserves. This was a lot of food and I ended up sharing most of my plate, but everything was cooked & seasoned well. I don't remember our waiter's name, but he was very kind and checked on us several times to make sure everything was good or if we needed anything. There were no complaints from my table and we enjoyed our food. The restaurant was a bit busy when we arrived, but we didn't have to wait for a table. They also have indoor and outdoor seating for the summer at least. Weekends seem especially busy. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

First Watch is a franchise from Kansas and their location in Glen Burnie apparently has been around for 6 years. A superb option for the community, this place offers everything breakfast brunch to lunch, fresh juices, frittatas, power bowls, salads, and sandwiches. Yummm to all incorporating seasonal ingredients! Our table shared the Hawaiian French Toast, Morning Market vegetable omelet, and belgian waffle. Coffee stayed hot in my mug with bottomless refills! *carafe at the table. Everything came out perfect and delicious, simple and satisfying. Marley was our server, and she was the sweetest! Come early, this place gets packed! Definitely recommend it and can't wait to visit again when in the area! Parking gets full, so find extra spots over by nearby Lowe's.

I was on an Avocado Toast kick so when my sis came in town, I decided we'd find a spot with the toast! I got waayyy more than I asked for! First Watch is so incognito yet, it's really, "A Go-To Brunch Spot". The shopping center is small but offers ample free parking. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The menu is full of breakfast & brunch favorites healthy and not so healthy (Lol). Having dined here twice with others, I can confidently advise that the food is GOODT. I had the Elevated Egg sandwich with Million Dollar Bacon (YUM!). Clean restaurant, inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and great customer service. The restroom was clean. The prices are reasonable. I enjoyed my meal and plan to return again and again. Check them out! :-)

If you like soggy greens and bad service; this is your place. Today's experience has turned me off 100%. I hope you fair better than me.

Stay away. My order was completely messed up and the manager tried to act like it was my fault. I will never return and will actively steer my friends away from all of these locations.

My favorite breakfast spot again not disappointed at all I don't know who came up with this hash but it was delicious very flavorful. And than washed it down with a mimosa.

Found this randomly searching for breakfast places around me and I was pleasantly surprised. Loved the food! Had a blood Mary which was sweet from the bacon garnish, but not bad. Ordered the hacienda hash which was so tasty. Hubby got biscuit with turkey gravy and egg whites plus potatoes. He ate it all, he said it was fab. The portions are good size. Great bases menu plus a seasonal menu. The set up of the restaurant could be better, too much of a jam at front and no where to wait really. Loved our server. Excellent experience. Must try!

My daughter and I went to the Glen Burnie location this morning to eat and the food was horrible. This was our first time at this location as we visited the Laurel, MD location and we were very pleased with the food there. We both ordered the biscuits with gravy(smh) the gravy tastes like it came out of an old can. It was not made fresh and looked bad. The biscuits were dry and hard. The dry texture so weird! The decaf coffee was so strong and bitter. I added flavored cream to see if that would help the taste but it didn't. just throw the whole pot away‍ A positive about the location was the table was clean when we were seated. I have a lot of pictures of the debacle they call food and will post on My google review page. Lesson learned.

The lady greeted us promptly and took us to our seats. The server came over and got the drink order just as smoothly . We knew what we wanted and ordered right away and served very quickly. This was a weekday afternoon. My husband ordered the Floridian, a French toast base, topped with fresh fruit and a double serving of berry compote. I ordered an all greens salad with their lemon dressing, really good, a perfect dressing. Also, an order of their million dollar bacon, done crisply. They brought out the bacon, and I sent it back, too well done, charred parts, and I guess some folks like it that way. The second try was just right. The server also left a bottle of cold water, which was so good and a lot less running for her. We'll be back, great food, very clean, an an all-around good atmosphere. There is plenty of free parking.

My fiancé and I have supported this local spot for years. It used to be a reliable go-to. But over time, something shifted--and now I know exactly what it is: the cook, Laura. On 11/28, I ordered steak and eggs. What I was served was not just unappetizing--it was dangerous. The steak smelled rancid, oozed a grayish liquid, and had visible discoloration. We flagged it immediately. Today, we returned to follow up and were horrified to learn that Laura had been explicitly told not to use those steaks because they were spoiled--and she served them anyway. Let that sink in. Why wasn't the meat discarded? Why did she knowingly serve it? Is she untrained, negligent, or something worse? And more importantly--why is she still employed? This isn't an isolated incident. Months ago, I stopped in for a quick lunch and became violently ill within the hour. I had to pull over to vomit and missed an important business meeting. I suspected something was off then, and from that point on, I would call ahead to make sure Laura wasn't cooking. Recently, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. There's a level of disregard here that feels personal. When I asked to speak with her after learning about the spoiled meat, the staff refused and smirked like it was a joke. It's not. This could have led to hospitalization--or worse. This is a public health issue. Laura's actions were reckless, and the restaurant's failure to act is inexcusable. I'm mortified, furious, and deeply disappointed. Willy's was once a place I proudly supported. Now, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Until there's accountability, I won't be back--and I urge others to think twice before risking their health here.

Originally, we planned to go for my birthday, but when we couldn't get a reservation the day before, we made other plans. Fast forward to last week, excited to finally check it out I called to book a table for four for Sunday, August 10th, 2025. That included our friends who recommended the place. During the call, the music in the background made it hard for the hostess to hear me, so I had to repeat my info several times. By the end of the call, she confirmed everything and told me our reservation was set. We all made plans, kids with family, the whole day lined up. This was supposed to be stop #1 before hitting a few more spots together. But when we arrived, the hostess told us our reservation was canceled because we hadn't paid a deposit. This was news to us. No one mentioned a deposit during my call. I checked their website before booking, no deposit policy listed. Our friends even pointed out they'd been there before, sat in the same section they could see from the door, and were never asked to pay a deposit. Instead of trying to help, the hostess told us it wasn't their responsibility to inform customers about the deposit. No apology, no attempt to make it right, just moved on to the next guests while we were left outside figuring out our next move. Later that night, I messaged the business on Yelp hoping to clear things up. The reply I got back felt like an AI-generated template. So careless they even left "Sample Text Below" in the message. That told me everything I needed to know: the staff's behavior is a reflection of the leadership. For a place that only allows brunch with reservations, you'd think they'd have a clear and consistent process. Clearly, that's not the case. I wanted to like Illusions. I still believe in giving a place the benefit of the doubt. But this experience showed me that customer service here isn't a priority, and that's something no good food can make up for.

Also, when you reserve, they send you a link to officially make your reservation and also pay a $20 deposit, that is taken off the check for whomever made the reservation My guest and I were seated in a comfy booth. Our waiter came over and was attentive to our needs/questions and explained how everything worked as "newbies". The buffet brunch was $55. If you want unlimited mimosas (OJ/Pineapple) that was an extra $20 and for flavors (Strabwerry, etc.) is was an extra $25. The buffet menu and "made to order items" were included in the $55. There was also an a la carte option. 18% gratuity is automatically added! DJ AJ Showtime and hostess started playing right before 130p and the restaurant lights were dimmed a bit. Music was great! Various food options (except any kind of desert) and they were all pretty good. There were two women who put food on your plate. It seemed like, we got in line for the buffet on order of seating. We sat down 2nd, so we were first in line. I went back for a 2nd plate (to try the soul food) and there was never a line at all. Mimosas came in a carafe. And midway thru, the guy brought a bottle of champagne to our table! Around 230 the Black Woman owner also came around and gave everyone shots. That was pretty cool, and kept everyone engaged. If you wanted to "dance" it was done in your seat. No people dancing on seats or anything lol Bathroom had 2 stalls, and was tight when you walk in Only hiccup was that it didn't seem like there was any air. Myself, guest and other tables were fanning ourselves down with napkins. Waiter said there is air but so many people in there... I had a great time!

Bubba's 33 -- Ask for the Bar, Not the Dining Room…read more I was here about three months ago and left a solid review. That visit (bar side) was great. This time I sat in the dining room... completely different experience. Order & food: * I asked for tater tots and got fries instead. It took so long just to get a soda that I didn't bother sending them back. * Fries: over-salted and generic -- nothing special. * Tater tots: still the move here. Don't skip them. * Jalapeño burger (with the jalapeño popper puck + added cheese): flavor idea is good, but the build was sloppy. * Shredded lettuce/tomato made it messy * Nobody asked temp -- it came out overdone Service & seating: * Sat at a handicapped table, which felt awkward. * Service in the dining room was slow and inconsistent: long wait for drinks, minimal check-ins, no follow-up. * The vibe felt off -- even basic interactions felt different than what I've had at the bar. I didn't wait around for dessert or anything -- paid the tab, tipped what matched the service, and left. Bottom line: This place isn't one experience -- it's two. Bar side: consistent, attentive, worth it. Dining room: slow, sloppy, and not on the same level. There are other spots doing burger deals going in the Rotation now!
