This is my first time at a First Watch and it was pretty good. I put myself on the waitlist and checked in at the desk and the wait was about 40 minutes on a Sunday, but they offered to seat me at the community table which I agreed to. It was actually pretty full, but everybody looked like they were well taken care of and it wasn't very loud. It was a pretty nice environment. I ordered the trifecta with a side of cheesy grits. The pancake was huge! The bacon was really good and the grits were OK not my favorite and I ordered an individual mimosa which was really great because they gave you a little mini bottle of Prosecco. The food was mediocre, the French toast was dry as in not enough egg soaking before cooking. The syrup was watery as well. Probably will not order the pancakes or french toast ever again. The omelette was good but had too many onions on the uncooked side. Would work with a few less and better cooking. Their original iced coffee had too much cream in it. Overall this visit was a bit below average. The service folks are very nice and the dining room is clean. So a good 2 1/2 stars is my personal recommendation for this visit, as it needs improvement. Service I accidentally left a bottle of Gatorade at the table. After I paid, I went to my car and in the time that I took me to come back in the store less than five minutes, the staff member helped themselves to be body of Gatorade. The manager found the empty bottle in the trash and offered no recourse for their staff members taking something that was not theirs. I had already asked the waitress for the manager for a previous issue with my birthday reward, so it's not like I wasn't already identified by the waitress, the busser and the manager. This is a DoorDash order review. Ordered DoorDash for breakfast this morning from First Watch. We ordered the traditional breakfast, kids egg breakfast and AM superfoods bowl. I received the AM Superfoods bowl in a small cup, $15 for a small cup of food and some toast. Do better! I understand that food prices have gone up but this is totally unacceptable. Recently came here for breakfast. Wait wasn't too bad thanks to their handy waitlist function via the web or their app. Upon seating we were greeted and our order taken. Our food came out minutes within us ordering it. My waffle was hot and fresh. Cooked perfectly. Crispy outside and tender on the inside. I washed it down with one of their delicious fresh pressed juices, the kale tonic. It was very fresh and crisp. Check out was speedy. I have been to several First Watch locations in the Mid-Atlantic. The food is always top-notch and this Glen Burnie location was no exception. I did find our server to be a bit surly but the woman cleaning tables was working her patootie off. All in all they have something for everyone, and can accommodate if you have a special dietary request. I opted for The Traditional, which included a choice of two eggs, turkey links, seasoned potatoes, and a side of whole grain toast with house made preserves. This was a lot of food and I ended up sharing most of my plate, but everything was cooked & seasoned well. I don't remember our waiter's name, but he was very kind and checked on us several times to make sure everything was good or if we needed anything. There were no complaints from my table and we enjoyed our food. The restaurant was a bit busy when we arrived, but we didn't have to wait for a table. A superb option for the community, this place offers everything breakfast brunch to lunch, fresh juices, frittatas, power bowls, salads, and sandwiches. Yummm to all incorporating seasonal ingredients! Our table shared the Hawaiian French Toast, Morning Market vegetable omelet, and belgian waffle. First Watch is so incognito yet, it's really, "A Go-To Brunch Spot". The shopping center is small but offers ample free parking. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The menu is full of breakfast & brunch favorites healthy and not so healthy (Lol). Having dined here twice with others, I can confidently advise that the food is GOODT. The lady greeted us promptly and took us to our seats. The server came over and got the drink order just as smoothly . We knew what we wanted and ordered right away and served very quickly. This was a weekday afternoon. My husband ordered the Floridian, a French toast base, topped with fresh fruit and a double serving of berry compote. I ordered an all greens salad with their lemon dressing, really good, a perfect dressing. Also, an order of their million dollar bacon, done crisply. They brought out the bacon, and I sent it back, too well done, charred parts, and I guess some folks like it that way. The second try was just right. My daughter and I went to the Glen Burnie location this morning to eat and the food was horrible. This was our first time at this location as we visited the Laurel, MD location and we were very pleased with the food there. We both ordered the biscuits with gravy(smh) the gravy tastes like it came out of an old can. It was not made fresh and looked bad. The biscuits were dry and hard. The dry texture so weird! The decaf coffee was so strong and bitter. I added flavored cream to see if that would help the taste but it didn't. just throw the whole pot away‍ A positive about the location was the table was clean when we were seated. I really enjoy First Watch! I've come here many times and enjoyed each and every time. The food and service does not disappoint. Every waitress I've had has been top tier. I've had the half of sandwich and salad which was delicious. There wasn't a combination that disappointed. The overall restaurant and bathroom were clean. The juices are fresh and yummy, if you don't want the ice you can order it without and it will come in a smaller glass. They recently started serving alcohol--I think around December. The Pomegranate Sunrise and Bloody Mary were tasty a nice addition to any meal. If I had to pick between the two then I would choose the Pomegranate Sunrise. Every time I come here the coffee is fresh and hot. I've had about six different entrées here and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the crab Benedict. It satisfies me and the " tough about crab dishes" Maryland friends I that I have. Their morning breakfast beverages such as the pineapple express, morning meditation etc. really start the day well for us. Their pancakes and French test are high quality and delicious. This is my second visit at First Watch. The first time, I went for breakfast and was unimpressed. This time, it was for lunch. I was willing to go back because the salad prices were pretty decent. The Cobb salad was good. It's a fairly straightforward dish to make. Except they have ranch dressing instead of blue cheese. That's weird. The most surprising thing was the end of our meal. It's funny. Since they close at 2:30, there was no pressure to give up our table after lunch. But that's not the real surprise.
