We had a great experience at IHOP at 515 Main St, Saco, ME 04072. The food was delicious, the place was clean, and the service was excellent. Special mention to Mallossa S -- she did an awesome job! Very friendly, attentive, and made our visit extra pleasant. Highly recommended!

We stopped in to get our morning started off with a hearty breakfast. The lemon blueberry crepes I had were very good. Eggs, sausage, and hash browns hit the spot and cooked well. My wife said the coffee was good. Being the last weekend before labor day the place was crowded. Ambience was casual like most Ihops but this location was big and clean with nice sized booths to fit different body types. Our waiter was a young oriental guy who was polite but a tad slow. Overall a good location and place for breakfast in Saco,

Food was made pretty quick, though there was nobody queued up when I arrived. Burgers are slightly on the smaller side (imo), which is perhaps why the double is also prominently listed on their menu. Onion rings are hand-made and not factory produced. Their mayo-based special sauce is dangerously great. Give me a bowl and spoon, please. Friendly folks here; minimal 'bar' indoor seating and several picnic tables outside. It's on a busy road so there's fair traffic noise. Unfortunately it's too far for me to be here regularly but I am glad I know it exists... just in case... for next time.

Barbara answered and took my order, told me the price and asked how long til I arrived. I said I was already there and she said give them 5 or so minutes. Let me say that the 1st sip of the reeses milk shake was amazing. I remember why I don't get them anywhere else. The burger was nice and juicy and had my favorite toppings and the hand cut fries reminded me of the beach, nice and crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy inside it really was the perfect lunch. My only complaint was the straw kept getting plugged by the reeses chunks on the bottom of the cup. If you're hungry and looking to support local businesses try this place out. You won't be disappointed with the food or the amazing people who work there

No reservations, you put your name in and wait. We waited about an hour and a half, and I can confidently say it was worth it! The menu is small with only a handful of options, but they clearly know what they do and do it WELL. I had the cheeseburger with fries (no bun), and MAN, that burger was cooked to perfection. So juicy, and the fries were perfectly golden with just the right amount of crunch. My husband got the tuna salad and made it a melt, this was actually his birthday wish, so we HAD to make the trip! He said it was one of the best tuna salads he's ever had. You know the food is good when both of us are sitting there silently eating. Both of our counter servers were so friendly and the service was great. If you're in the Kennebunkport area and have the time, Palace Diner is a MUST. Absolutely worth the wait and DEFINITELY lives up to the hype!

Very limited menu and waitress told us the 2 specials. One was omelette of the day Broccoli and Swiss (not to special) and their blueberry pancakes. Menu prices are a bit high than what you usually pay anywhere else. I got the omelette and it was pretty small looked like a burrito Tasted good and fresh. My wife got the breakfast sandwich. It was good, but was a little overpowered by the sliced jalapeños (fresh)on it Both our breakfasts came with "palace potatoes " which are a different spin on homefries. My guess is a par boiled potatoes that the smash a little then deep fry and add salt. They were good, crunchy but creamy on the inside. The coffee was ok. First cup tasted a little burnt but the refill was better. Customer service was great. Waitress was attentive, checked in after 2 bites and heated my coffee several times while I ate. The price was $48 for two people we had thought about splitting an order of pancakes or corned-beef hash($11) but it was too pricey. It was a good experience, clean restaurant, friendly people and ok food but too expensive for breakfast. Had breakfast the day before at Twin City diner. Food was just as good ( except their home fries) and a better value.

Cowbell has a wide selection of beers on tap (ca. 25, which is nice) but the beer menu is only available via a QR code affixed to each table, so you need your phone to access the beer menu. Fine. However, reading through this digital beer menu you will find lots of rich detail about each beer, but no prices. Hm, I understand a seafood menu with lobster "at market price", but a beer menu with no prices, why? "Too difficult, because the selection of beers changes so often" was the answer from the friendly waitress. So I took out some paper and a pencil (!) and queried her about the price of three beers that interested me, noting down each before ordering. When the bill came the price was higher than what she had quoted me Confronted with my handwritten notes to the contrary, the head-waitress said that my waitress had simply misspoke, but I was still expected to pay the 'correct' price because that is what was in their digital cash register's system. OMG, why not just put the dang beer prices ON THE DIGITAL BEER MENU to avoid confusion like this! The digital cash register seems to have no problem with "the selection of beers changing so often", why is it impossible to get this same price info on the digital beer menu? Why make life harder for both the wait-staff and the customers? Why create this risk of misunderstanding? Even when I took written notes (and really, who goes thru that effort?), there was STILL a mix-up on the price. Ultimately the waitresses agreed to simply go back and switch the beer on my bill to one with the same price as she had quoted me (although not the one I drank), so all good. But why, WHY? Why not just put the dang price of each beer on the menu? Isn't that is what a menu is for?
