I chose the meal with just that, and two sausage links that were more like a kielbasa. The kielbasa wasn't my favorite, but I would have preferred a typical sausage patty instead. Our food arrived so fast we were startled. Beef tips and 2 eggs, soft hash browns and white toast. DISLIKE: the beef tips are sautéed with onions and mushrooms BUT there was a sauce that was real sweet and tasted awful. Eggs and hash browns were soaking it up also. It's really sad I feel like the store is not very busy. Yes, it was during the week, but there are only about three tables out of the entire restaurant fool The pancakes were delicious. However, everything else is pretty bland the sausage, bacon, ham and eggs were very bland no flavor. Our customer service that we received was great, and everyone was very polite and nice. Television advertises Weekday Favs menu. 6 dollars each for about 5 different entrees. Went there, sat down got coffee and asked for that menu and was told this locatiion doesnt do that. So a 12 dollar breakfast for 2 turned into 25. I called corporate and asked who did participate and they could not tell me. The Senior Meal my husband got for 10 dollars would have been 6 if they had that promotion. Ask before you are seated, and if you are in Bridgeton there is a nice new Waffle House on the Rock Road much cheaper. I-Hops are almost always a franchise and they don't go along with the program. Slow service. Me and my wife got our food while our friends had to wait. We were half way through eating before they got their food. Some of their food were under cooked. Atmosphere was horrible. Employees and the managers attitude were horrible. Friend asked to speak to the manager about the food and she acted like she was being bothered. We sat down and other family started arriving. The staff kept putting tables together until we had 13 seated. The server went to work with a smile and we were all well fed with hot delicious food in record time! Then he asked if he needed to divide the ticket and that was also accomplished quickly. IHOP is always great on a sunday before going to church. Get there at 8AM and there is no wait to be seated. The early bird really does get the worm here. Service is friendly and has been for the 15 years or more iv been coming here. Im never disappointed in the food other then the chicken and waffle combo. "Chicken is frozen and then dropped in a fryer and not hand breaded like it should be." But other then that all the omelettes are great because iv tried them all. Red velvet, blueberry, harvest grain and nut, cinna stack, original buttermilk, strawberry, and the new espresso mocha pancakes are all fantastic and flavorful. This company always adds new items to their menu for a short time which is nice because i like trying new things when I go out. I would give a kagillion stars for our waitress! She was so kind and polite. She filled our coffees, never let them go empty. She was fabulous. The hostess was not. She didn't finish the pancakes, but they were pancakes, they looked good. My food was not good. Now, I didn't care for the eggs, but my mom really liked them, so that is personal preference. He had an extra hot tea on there. It took a while to receive our food. Our order was messed up and we were missing things. Some of the eggs were not cooked the right way. They came scrambled instead. We were missing hash browns. On the French toast plate there was only one piece. It took over 20 minutes to correct it all. This was the worst service we have ever had. He was very rude and persistent they close at 10pm. He stood there and waited for us to get our cards out. He wanted payment right away. We said there was an extra tea and we could tell by his facial expression he was angry. They were bussing the table right in front of us and they took my mom's hot tea and she was still drinking it. It was obvious they wanted us out. He stood there and waited for us to sign the tickets. We will never be back. I did not speak to a manager. Everyone was just so rude. I won't ever be back. I filed a complaint. All I received was an email that basically said sorry. This people don't need to be doing this. They need fired. Super sweet, accommodating staff! My mother loves her coffee with tons of creamer and they always give us plenty. I love getting the chocolate milk and it's usually on the strong side, LOL. I like to put a couple of creamers in there to temper the chocolate. I often order the chicken and waffles. I love the crispiness on the outside and the chewiness on the inside of the waffles. Spreading butter that melts into the nooks and crannies and then filling them with a little shot of the butterscotch syrup is the way to go. I eat them with my hands. I mean, who needs a fork with those built-in syrup pockets? :) The chicken fingers are always nice and crunchy and I typically dip them in ranch and blue cheese. They've made some updates to this location in the last couple of years, which is nice. The downside is the fairly open kitchen and when it's busy, it makes the place pretty loud. Somehow I usually end up there on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Go early - or go after 1:00 to avoid the rush. This restaurant needs to be shut down immediately! We just left this IHOP. The floors were filthy, there was raw sewage smell coming from the men's bathroom, the women's rest room hadn't been cleaned in a while and one of the stalls was completely out of toilet paper. Many of the dining tables had not been cleaned. As the server approached our table she said she needed to wipe it off before we sat down and there was only one server working the restaurant. She REALLY was trying to do the best that she could to get us waters and coffee. There weren't ANY clean silverware available!!!! So she provided us with plastic wear. What is so upsetting is that this IHOP is the main one in Springfield right off the interstate. So, of course, you are expecting a pretty nice restaurant. Temporary sign on their door says they should be open. They still took my money. I wanted to test out the new IHOB burger lineup, so I quickly found the nearest one. the service there was very comfortable for me, and our server was very kind and sweet. the plain burger i ordered was no ordinary cheeseburger, for it was topped with a new IHOB sauce! it really won me over and the bottomless fries just kept coming out fresh and tasty. overall, i'm coming back for another burger apart of the new menu. just wish the music wasn't country sometimes. read more

Surprisingly good service here! Sean and I walked in last weekend and saw a line out the door. I sighed and decided to run in and ask the wait anyway. It was only 15 mins? Dang. Well I guess it was just us two and most were parties of 4 or more who were waiting. We ended up being seated in less than 10 minutes and our service was very prompt and friendly. The building is showing it's age and the coffee cups seemed to be smaller than what I remember but other than that the food and the price for it was spot on. It was packing in there this day but even with that we were seated quickly and our server was quick and efficient. Hubs is on a low carb diet (I am trying but the call of the pancakes was too strong) and our server took note of that telling him that since he wasn't doing the carby sides to his dish he could substitute a couple slices of bacon or slice of ham. After I was seated I waited 10 minutes just to get a drink order in. Also my seat in the booth was covered in duct tape? I realize IHOP isn't a fancy wine and dine place but I think the basics should be expected. As in proper furniture and average speed service. However, the food was really good.
