We enjoy visiting at this location when catching up with friends. There are lots of menu specials. The grits are my favorite. Service can be hit or miss. Our server was nice and attentive. Our friends enjoyed the $6.00 specials. The French toast was great. The hashbrowns looked like the picture - cooked perfectly. Weekday visits are less hectic than the weekend.

Shelly did a good job the food was some crap but her service was excellent. She was the hostess or manager on duty she definitely deserves a raise.

After a long day of shopping we were at that point where we needed something to eat. After some disagreements on where we wanted to eat we decided to come here. We were nearby and this was the closest place to go. We should have known when we entered that we were not going to have that great of an experience. Upon entry we waited a good five minutes before an employee came up and greeted us. We were finally taken to a table and given menus. However, the table we were sat at wasn't the cleanest and our server was busy elsewhere which meant we had another wait before us. When our server finally came over we were able to place our drink orders. Then we had another wait before she returned with our drink orders and to take our order for our food. Finally, we placed our food order and then we waited. When we were seated we were sat at a table in the midst of the restaurant. Even though it wasn't packed and we were here basically after the dinner rush, it just seemed like no one cared how things were going. We watched the employees bop in and out of the area without checking to see if we needed refills or anything. This was especially harsh seeing how long it took us to get our drinks in the first place. Before we could get a refill our food did show up. Since we were at a place known for breakfast food, I went the breakfast route. I love a good biscuit and gravy, so I went with that. I know, it's a breakfast place known for pancakes, but I wasn't in the mood for that. From the first bite, I knew that this was not going to be the best meal I had ever had. The biscuit was hard. Thinking that it was paired with the gravy would make it not so much. But the sausage gravy was a bit greasy and there was definitely not enough gravy to biscuit ratio going on. The hashbrowns were ok, sausage links were expected and adding the cheese to the scrambled eggs definitely gave it some flavor. Due to the greasy gravy I ended up paying for it the next day in the bathroom arena. I woke up not feeling my best and soon became friends with the bathroom for the rest of the day until all that food made its way through me.

This is my first ever review on a food restaurant. This has been the worse establishment in Maryland. Please avoid coming to this Ihop.

Horrible Ihop. Food is even worse. The food is never cooked right and the manager doesn't want to discount the uncooked food. Avoid every time.

    Sirloin Steak Tips & Eggs

I ordered the sirloin tips and eggs and this is the type of sirloin i got. Not only it was it too big, the waiter that came with bring it was a little passive aggressive. The food didn't take look so that was good but other than that, will not be returning. My waiter name was Endrias.

Service was great. I came in on the weekend so of course it was busy. Once we were seated, our orders were taken right away. Food was made quickly. It was hot, well done, I can't complain about the service. We ordered the Strawberry Banana French Toast Combo and the Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Pancake Combo. My iced coffee with French vanilla tasted really weird, it didn't taste like coffee at all. That was the only downside so I don't recommend. There's plenty of free parking. Location is clean. It was overheard from staff that the manager takes all the orders so he can take majority of tips. I don't know if it's true but that really didn't sit well with me so that's why this is getting 4 stars. I would have given this location 5 stars but I can see this being true because the manger did take all the orders. Majority of staff are Latinos and don't speak fluent English so I can see why he would have to step in due to the language barrier but I hope folks are being paid fairly regardless.

I have been going to this location on and off for 20+ years now, mostly for breakfast. The service was always on point. The food portion was always huge. Sometimes, I can make 3 meals out of one order. On this occasion, I ordered the fajitas steak omelet with 3 pancakes. Omelet was perfectly cooked. The pancakes were soooo fluffy. Enough for 3 meals! I will continue to support this restaurant and location.

I don't normally single out waiters for service, but Asim did an amazing job and his exceptional mannerism encouraged me to write this review! I ordered the Jalapeño Kick Steakburger, which was pretty rich in flavor and had the right amount of jalapeños! Asim was the highlight of my time though, he was so helpful and seemed very genuine, always making sure we were okay and kindly taking his time to help us. He made our late-night dine-in a lot more enjoyable and light-hearted, I hope I can have an Asim to every restaurant I go!

The breakfast and brunch options here have consistently been high quality. The menu feels fresh, creative, and thoughtfully put together, with options like avocado toast, quinoa bowls, fresh juices, and seasonal specials. The lemon blueberry cornbread was delicious, and the restaurant itself is in a nice location, well kept, bright, and pleasant to visit. During one recent visit, there was an unusual service issue at the front. Genevieve stepped in with exactly the kind of professionalism, warmth, and accountability that makes a real difference. She listened carefully, did not minimize the concern, took responsibility on behalf of the restaurant, and made sure I felt valued as a customer. What impressed me most was not just that she addressed the issue, but how elegantly she handled it. Genevieve was calm, gracious, sincere, and clearly committed to making things right. Her response reflected genuine leadership and real care for the customer experience. Mistakes can happen anywhere. Genevieve's response is the reason I left still feeling good about this location, and she deserves real credit.
