This was the third time we've been disappointed here. This IHOP started out so good and then something happened. Training staff went home? I don't know, but this time around we attempted the healthy options - I ordered the egg white omelette and my wife ordered the fit 2 egg breakfast. We didn't even eat it. The avocado on my omelette was slimy, brown and gray with an odd dark grease trail across my plate. The "fresh fruit" on both plates was mostly canned pineapple that had turned brown with these weird orange slices in mine that looked like they came out of someone's lunch box. The best part? When we complained and said we couldn't eat it and offered to pay for our coffee, they actually took us up on it and cut a ticket for our 2 coffees at $5.63! Either the IHOPs in my hometown have set a really low standard, or all of you Silverdale natives are picky as heck because I thought this place was pretty nice. The service was some of the best I've ever had at an IHOP, and the food was just as good as it always is... except for maybe the Cinna-stack pancakes. They didn't look quite as good as usual. read more

Usually don't have any issues, we almost always have Danny who is great! Today we went in and had a server I had never seen before, who up charged us almost $14 of add ons that we have never had to pay for, without mentioning the cost of them. (Sour cream & cheese) The manager Tori then came over and asked us how things were, and we told her we had no idea these things costed almost $7 each or we wouldn't have ordered them. She then started being extremely rude and said that it is unacceptable that her servers are giving away "free food". (Honestly though, is a ramekin of sour cream really worth that much?) She then proceeded to yell at our regular server, who I felt incredibly bad for because he's absolutely wonderful, which was followed by our current server proceeding to lie about letting us know about the up charges. This place is my home for breakfast, away from home. Hands-down probably one of the best customer service experience I've ever had always eating here at this IHOP. I am newly stationed here and have been coming here regularly for the past week or so for breakfast and every single time has been nothing short of a wonderful experience created by the hospitality of the staff, Nick, in particular. I have run into him quite a few times and he has always been there to check on me and take my order. I'm back today and even in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the weekend crowd, he remembers my face and brings me a hot pot of coffee without me even asking at this point. The other day I was here out of uniform and the gentleman who was my waiter that day was amazingly observant and recognized my CAC that was sitting on the table in my wallet and gave me my military discount without my even asking. It's the little things like that, that just really make me feel happy and the warm energy that I am always greeted with is what honestly makes me want to keep coming back. Kudos to the manager and the staff here at this place, you all are doing a fantastic job taking care of your customers, regulars and non-regulars alike! read more

The first time we went there, there was so many servers and managers on the floor that we had no idea who our server was. We got our food and it was barely warm and the waffle was hard as a rock and couldn't eat it. With all the staff on the floor, we couldn't catch the attention of ONE to return the waffle. We never got our water refills nor the coffee we asked for. The second time, I decided to go by myself. What a big difference, there were no servers or managers to be found. Everyone was gathered at the lobby chitchatting. When I finally got to order after a 15-20 minute wait, I waited over 30 minutes for the food and never got a water refill (they served the water in a tiny glass - really??). When the food arrived, it was stone cold and ordered extra gravy thinking it would be hot and would warm my plate. Wrong, I got the extra gravy and it was barely more than two spoonfuls and lukewarm. Since the order came with pancakes, that I never got, I asked the server when I finally got her attention for the pancakes and she had no clue it came with the order. Unfortunately, the pancakes were also stone cold and rock hard. Had to take my food home to warm it up so I could eat after being forced to starve for almost an hour total. There was another sole diner at the table next to me who got even worse service than I did. To make this horrible experience even worse, they charged whopper for the extra two spoonfuls of gravy. With the opening of this IHOP in Silverdale, they closed the one in Bremerton. Too bad. Even with the horrible staff at Bremerton, at least the food was good and piping hot when it came to the table. read more

Went with my family on a Saturday morning. We were attended to by Josh. Excellent server. He was always prompt and very attentive to our needs. I was a bit leery after reading the negative reviews but it was a pleasant and surprisingly nice visit to IHOP. Thanks Josh. You earned the five stars. read more

I ordered the crepe combo. My hashbrowns were cold, my bacon was overcooked and my crepe was luke-warm. The only thing that was a decent temperature were the eggs. read more

This has been our go to breakfast place when we're in a hurry. The service was always good and the food decent. Went there this morning for breakfast and was shocked to see how both the service and food quality has gone down hill. We were seated at a booth that had not been wiped down. There was syrup and food on the table and seats. I had to ask to have it cleaned before we ordered. I've ordered the South of the Border burrito many times and although it doesn't say on the menu, it always has bell peppers in it, which I don't like. And the salsa is never on the side even though it's supposed to be included, so I asked for the salsa on the side. Substituted hasbrowns instead of pancakes. Our food came in a acceptable time frame but I was missing my hashbrowns. The burrito was ice cold. Our waiter was no where to be found to ask for the hashbrowns or to heat up my burrito. As we were eating, the hostess was carrying plates from a table to the kitchen where she dropped a bowl of what looked like Hollandaise sauce. She left the bowl and the spilled sauce on the floor and never came back to clean it up. One of the wait staff came by to clean it up right when we were leaving. I looked at my receipt after we left and they ended up charging us extra for the salsa that is supposed to be included. Needless to say, we won't be going back. read more

I came with a friend and the place was less than occupied and we waited a long time before anyone came to our table. The waitress made me feel like we were annoying her and it was obvious that she was not liking her job. She had the personality of a dead cucumber. My friend asked a simple question and she said "You can read it right there and pointed to the menu" She never came back to our table and asked if we needed anything else. The food was ok but was cold and the poached egg was not cooked correctly. The service was very poor and the staff was unfriendly. I have becoming to this IHop ever since it has open ,and have never gotten any bad service or terrible food... The waiter and server have been awesome.. I do have to say the guest that where in this restaurant that we sat in back of was very rude and was apparently looking for a hand out... I was not happy with the service or the food. The server kept interrupting me; he would ask me questions and when I would try to answer him, he would talk over me. I was going to order a meal but decided against. When he came back, he laughed at me because I only ordered one small thing-which I would've ordered more-but he wasn't listening. Then I asked for ranch, he again interrupted me and walked away. When he came back again, he asked if I wanted some ranch, well of course I do because that is what I was trying to ask you for earlier! Another server was telling the manager she had made a mistake and he announces "Job Opening!" and she got upset....Not really funny to threaten someone's job, even if it is a "joke". Grow the eff up, dude. Be a mentor, not an intimidator! Perhaps if you were concentrating on the male server doing his job instead of insulting the female that was working, he would've have a bigger ticket at our table and your restaurant would've made more money. Plus, the server touched me without permission, and it felt as if it was his mission for the day, and it creeped me out. My fries were dried out and served on a saucer, yuck. I was so hungry, I didn't care and I paid for it all day with a nasty stomachache. read more
