I've written reviews for other IHOP locations, but I wanted to highlight this location for their management. The staff - there were so many that I can't even remember, would consistently approach my boyfriend and I if were satisfied and needed anything. Not in that 'Ugh, I wish they'd stop asking' manner. It was appreciated. And also, because it was October at the time, IHOP was offering Reese's pieces pancakes that we tried that at our adult big age, was DELICIOUS. Without the right amount of syrup, it was dry... BUT with the butter pecan syrup, it was so so good. Something good & different to try outside of the typical shortstack. I have been waiting for ages for IHOP to offer a plant based meat and I got really excited when I saw that there was a plant based sausage patty offered on the menu. I should have known that there would be an INCONVENIENCE FEE You ask what exactly is an INCONVENIENCE FEE? That's when it is an INCONVENIENCE to be a non meat eater. The waitress we had was very accommodating, real, and friendly. Very lively and made our breakfast pleasant. The manager however was a little strange. This is a rather small restaurant and they have managed to adhere to social distancing guidelines which is a plus. Fresh coffee, hot breakfast. I've driven past this location many times but have never had the chance to stop in. With friends in town we decided to make it an IHOP morning. Upon walking in the inside is very clean. It has the classic look and feel that you expect when walking into an IHOP but the level of cleanliness is above standard. The Manager was at the front and greeted us and seated us immediately. She was training a new server so we had the pleasure of being a part of her learning process. The service was absolutely amazing. Well above the industry standard. From the great menu recommendations to the check in, everything was spot on. My friends are from up North and we're impressed by the "Southern Hospitality" provided. The food was really good as well. Everyone at the table was pleased. The food arrived fresh and hot and made to IHOP perfection. It was truly a pleasing experience. As I live in the area I will definitely be back. This location is a staple (is that the right term??) in this area. Probably the only thing left that was part of my teen memories. So that's been 30 year span to be exact that I've been coming to this IHOP location. Over the last several years the staff has changed, but seems to have a few employees around. Emilia is a sweetheart. We try to sit in her area. She will make sure your order is as requested. Even if you have unusual cooking requests....like no butter to cook your egg whites. This location stays busy. It's not large, so hopefully when you come to visit you are not in a rush. I really don't have any complaints so obviously I will continue to patronize IHOP at this location anyway until there is no more read more

Went here to get breakfast today. The food was decent and hot. The places was pretty clean from what I could see. The service was decent too. This place is pretty small though and the heat was really kicking when we went in which made it a little uncomfortable. But other than that the experience wasn't bad. read more

No crayons for the kids menu .. Big ass bugs under the table .. my toddler hated the French toast because she doesn't like eggs which I explained when ordering only French toast... I've never seen French toast with a thick layer of fried egg over it which is why she didn't eat it because she doesn't like eggs. I will stay away from this ihop and probably every ihop in GA. We ordered food twice from this restaurant. We got a delivery and the next day we dined in. Both times the food was delicious. The sirloin tips were juicy, tender and flavorful. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. I'd recommend this restaurant for a.good meal. read more

So I will start off by saying I was a little scared before I got out of the car. My friends were in town and staying at a hotel 10 mins away in Fairburn, GA. It was 9pm, I needed to eat and I don't eat meat nor fast food which eliminated 99% of the food options in the area for me. Ihop and Kroger were my only 2 real options so I chose Ihop. The parking lot in front of the restaurant was dark and there were signs warning you to hide everything, lock your doors and to call 911 if you saw anything suspicious so I figured it's probably not a very safe area but I was too hungry to drive anywhere else so I took my chances. When I walked in, there were people waiting for take out seated already. It took about 5 minutes for someone to come and take my order then another 10 minutes to actually put the order in the system. Either the young lady ringing me up was new or no one had ever ordered egg whites before. The staff was not rude but not super friendly either. I waited a good 30 minutes for my omelette and potatoes the restaurant had patrons in it but a 30 minute wait for breakfast food is ridiculous. Thankfully my car was not disturbed during my long wait. My spinach and mushroom omelette was good the potatoes were not good. I doubt I will be back to this location. read more

I ordered curbside pickup. The purpose of that was so I didn't have to go in. Unfortunately, I sat in my vehicle almost 20 minutes and no one ever came out. I had to go inside where they just had my food sitting on the counter. They have an actual door for pickup that is NEVER open. Maybe they should assign someone for pickups and curbside orders. read more

Called in around 930am on 10/31/21. Placed an order for family feast. Asked if I could sub the hash for anything else. Was told it could be pancakes, grits, etc. I chose pancakes. Was given a total of $30.xx and a time it would be ready. Sent my daughter to pick the food up and she tells me they never put it in because the hash cannot be substituted. AND that they called. So a spam call can come through. My daughter's call could come through, but not ihop's?!? Not even a voicemail! Not only did they lie, but time & gas was also wasted. Not to mention my children are without a timely meal. If they "couldn't reach me" provide good customer service by giving me what you said I could get. You know i was coming to get it! Just tell me....how do u get a persons entire order wrong and still present them with a check. So I go on an early morning breakfast date....his treat....so already I'm off to a good start. I went to an IHOP a few months ago and really like the nutritional side of the menu and went with the spinish omlett w/mushrooms, roasted tomatos and swiss cheese and a fruit cup. She brings the food to the table and sits it down. Well it must have been all over my face, cause she says....whats wrong....this before I've even lifted my fork. She says....do u not like the way the omlett looks...I'm like no.....I however do wish the fruit cup was fresher. She says....oh...do u want me to take it back. Now I'm thinkin....if u knew something was wrong with it....why did u bring it to me? Then for some reason, I just couldnt get that omlett to taste like it had tasted before, so I ask for something...sauce....something....she brings me salsa. Cold...and in a little plastic cup with salsa all over the outside of the cup. Then I say.....how about some hashbrowns instead of the fruit cups....she says thats fine.....brings them back and they are half done. How can that be I wonder....she just placed an order for them....so I sit them to the side. She comes by again...and says....u want some cheese on those hashbrowns??? Aha.....thats it. Where the cheese that suppose to be in my omlett?? She like oh yeah....it was suppose to have cheese. Do u want me to take it back. How do I say hell naw bobby in IHOP language.....so I explain to her that under no circumstance do I send my food back to the kitchen to be "fixed". She takes this moment to assure me that no one is going to do "anything" to my food.....which tells me all the more that they probably will. The one high spot....is....me being the COUPON QUEEN....I had a coupon to buy one meal and get the other free....so it worked out...otherwise, I probably would have asked to see the manger...but alas....he was payin...I had the coupon...and I never really have to visit this location again. read more

Greetings. My husband and I visited the Union City IHOP located at 6902 Londonderry Way. We went right after work and were the only ones there so we were seated immediately. I have been frequenting IHOP since I was a child in the 1970's and have always loved the friendly service and great food. This was the first incident I have ever had where I have a complaint. Our server, a young African American lady named Cassie came to our table to take our order. She was extremely friendly and accommodating. A few seconds in, her manager, whose name I didn't get, came over, interrupted her and loudly said, "YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE WRITING DOWN THEIR ORDER!!" The manager then looked at us and blurted, "TODAY IS HER FIRST DAY!" My husband and I looked at one another and were very uncomfortable. The entire time we were there, we kept hearing the manager yelling at her to, "GO CHECK AND SEE IF THEY NEED ANYTHING!" "CHECK ON YOUR TABLE!" It was abusive, toxic, condescending and rude. I felt so sorry for the young lady to think that if this is her first work experience, she may think that this is the way you are supposed to be treated. It was disgusting. Later into our dining experience, another party came in and Cassie went over to them. The manager immediately comes over and says to them, "I'M SHADOWING HER BECAUSE THIS IS HER FIRST DAY!!!" The manager was humiliating her. I hope upper management does something to protect this young employee. And the manager should be re-trained. There is a way to "reprimand" employees and it should never be done in the presence of customers. read more

Server did not follow what I ordered cause I asked milk ,orange, French toast, with bacon and scrambled egg. So she gave me combos that I didn't really order with hash brown. Plus I'm deaf and so reason she has her masked on so it would have be easier if she wrote and understand that I'm hard of hearing so I told her that. First thing I seen was a warning sign, not the best thing you want to see when you dine out. The waiter was pretty nice, but the service was way to slow, given we were the only people here at the tIme. The food was exceptionally good. Ordered a to-go order on uber eats, order took over an hour to get my meal. When the meal was finally ready no one called out the order, they just sat it by the register even as they knew people were waiting to receive their food. Also, I ordered cheese eggs, did not get that right. If I'm going to wait and extended time for my food at least let it be fresh and correct. Place seems disorganized. read more

We came to IHOP on a weekday for brunch. Parking was easy. We were immediately greeted at the door and found the staff very friendly. We ordered red velvet pancakes, cookies n cream cheesecake french toast, grits, and bacon. The red velvet pancakes were quite tasty with our warm syrup! The cheese grits were very bland so we added salt and pepper. My bacon was perfectly crispy - just like I requested. I would not order the cookies n cream cheesecake again because it was just ok. Our waitress, Alicia, was wonderful. She was friendly and extremely attentive. We will back again when we don't want to drive to the city for breakfast. read more

This is a hidden treasure in Union City. Never did I think that the food would be good and my order would be correct. I have only tried the French Toast and it's amazing. Not only was my order cooked correctly the service was ok. It was so good I ordered them through DoorDash the next day. This location is a bit of a hit or miss, but then again aren't all chain resturants? I've been here a few times over the course of a year so that should say a little something. Either it was a Fool-Me-Once Situation or the experience just wasn't "bad" enough to mark it off my list. The serivce there is ok. I can tell that the management is trying to clean it up, but every blue moon I get one of those lame waitresses that I grit my teeth tipping. Coming back from a Braves game; and we were starved at 11:00 pm. IHOP was a quintessential late night craving stop. We were a little worried about the warning sign at the door stating to lock your car doors, take your keys, and hide all belongings; but hey when you need pancakes you need pancakes right!? We both ordered the egg white omelette with spinach from the Fit menu and it was really good. I was surprised and thought I was going to have to suffer through it, but it was really good. Of course my niece loved her pancakes, but she didn't eat the bacon. I was surprised. Overall, we had a good experience at this IHOP. I liked their red shirts. There wasn't a super long wait to be seated. Our waitress was super sweet, the restrooms were clean (clean restrooms say a lot about the restaurant to me) and I think I would visit this restaurant again the next time I was in the area...if I had a taste for IHOP. Horrible service!!! Enter at your own risk. Waited 40 minutes for food and when asked where was my order, employee and manager were nonchalant about my wait time. I usually love IHOP but the experience at this location was subpar. I walked in with my family on a Sunday evening and no one greet us even though there were at least four people in the front area. When we were finally acknowledged and seated no one came to offer water or take our order. We waited almost 10 minutes before deciding to leave. We went to a different IHOP four miles away and was greeted and seated quickly. The waitress Carissa came over with a smile and took our order.
