First this ihop has the smallest parking lot I have ever seen at an IHOP. the host said other business park in their lot. I had to park next door at Carl juniors. The waiter was non attentive and failed to hear our order or just was not paying attention to his customers. I had to ask 3 separate times for water. Already had finished my breakfast when the water got there. Same waiter had trouble understanding that we wanted strawberry jam or grape jelly and brought blackberry and kinda tossed it on the table. Not a place for service dog. I had my service dog in a stroller. The host had to ask the manager because they don't allow dogs. I stated it is a service dog. He comes over and asked what service she is trained for. I tell him. He said "Service dogs don't go in strollers." I told him I put her in there out of respect for others. He started raising his voice arguing with me. My husband had to step up and tell him not to speak to me that way. At this point I don't want them even cooking my food. So I said forget it and left. I came here with my family and like any Sunday morning they are very busy. Our waiter was very attentive and always made sure to ask if we ever needed anything else. We ordered the chicken quesadilla as an appetizer and the green salsa that comes with it is very good. It adds a lot of flavor. I also had the spicy poblano omelette with pancakes that was also very good. They have updated menus that I really enjoyed and they also are promoting the new Wonka movie right now that is perfect for kids. They also offer kids to eat for free after 4pm. read more

My family and I loved going to ihop, we usually visit the Fillmore location, but today because we were running errands in Ventura we decided to place an online order on the Victoria ave location. We were treated so poorly and as thieves. The manager refused to give us our order. The manager demanded a government issued Identification. This has never happened to us! George, the server, did a great job of getting our order in a timely fashion even though the place got seated with several tables within a few minutes. Our party had the quick 2 egg special, the t-bone breakfast, the blt sandwich and an Oreo shake. The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly to request and everyone enjoyed their food and dessert.
