Great food and great local IPA beer.

The food is amazing for restaurant food. The waitresses are friendly and will recommend everyone's favorites. Not disappointed at all. Will definite be staying here and dining also

Wow where to start. Laura our server was top notch. I was drinking the Beachy Breeze and it was light and refreshing. The meatball appetizer was 10/10 very authentic. For dinner we got the rib dinner, grilled chicken and white flatbread. All were delicious. My favorite was the white flatbread. The sides that came with the rib dinner and chicken really paired well. The bacon Brussel sprouts had great texture and flavor and the mashed potatoes were perfect. Make sure you save some room for dessert because the chocolate cake was so light and fluffy and the Crème brûlée was so delightful and it's hard to find good Crème brûlée. Scott's overhaul of the menu really paid off and we will definitely be back. If you're staying at the hotel and just happen to be in the area I highly recommend stopping by and trying for yourself.

    Yummy chips with spicy ketchup.

Ok, so it is a restaurant in a hotel, so I wasn't expecting a lot. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Made the veggie quesadilla with chicken upon request which was very accommodating. Sweet potato chips with spicy ketchup was good as well. Now tried both the burger and Pork loin. Both delicious. Service was what I would call LEISURELY. We have now eaten here three times. Good food, comfortable, and convenient.

Staff is excellent and the seating is nice for the space. Martin rocked as my server last night and I enjoyed his Woodford Reserve Manhattan he made for me. The crispy Skin Salmon entree was perfectly cooked to a medium rare inside as requested. The ginger glaze with sesame seeds was divine as well as the the fresh veggies. The Caesar salad was great as well. Stop in and sit for awhile. You will not be disappointed.

    This salmon was so yummy!

Extremely greasy breakfast and they got my omelette order wrong. There were pools of grease on my plate. This was bad, even for a hotel.

The cocktails change so it's always fun to come back! I always try to be there when this section opens. I love the calmness of the space and it gets livelier as the night progresses and it does get packed Always one of my highly recommended spots for people who want great drinks, fantastic atmosphere and delicious food. I'm looking forward to my next stop in!

If you're going to hang your hat on the speakeasy aesthetic--dim lights, hushed tones, whispers of…read moreexclusivity--then understand this: you're entering into an unspoken pact with your patrons. We expect a certain standard, a level of care that borders on obsession. So when I catch Evan Williams--respectable, questionable, but barely twelve bucks a bottle--making an appearance behind the bar, it feels like a breach of trust. A quiet betrayal under low lighting. The illusion only works if the details hold up under scrutiny... and that pour? It broke the spell. And then comes the real offense: discovering that your Old Fashioned--the crown jewel of any respectable cocktail program--are built on bottom-shelf, dust-collecting bourbon. That's not just a letdown, it's a slap in the face. A cocktail like that deserves reverence, not shortcuts. And as if to twist the knife, there it was--a massive can of red maraschino cherries sitting shamelessly atop the bar, like some relic from a dive that's given up on finesse. It wasn't just a misstep. It was disrespect. In a place claiming the speakeasy mantle, details like these matter. They're the difference between theater and parody. The cocktails did not warrant the $15 price tag. Moreover, I would have paid more had I know the class of bourbon upfront. What ultimately redeems the space is its ambiance. The low flicker of the fireplace, the soft embrace of worn leather sofas, the curated hum of music floating just above conversation--it's seductive, even soulful. The room itself is small, intimate--the kind of place where you're bound to recognize a face, or at the very least, feel inclined to invite a stranger to share the sofa and maybe a story. And then there's the setting--tucked beneath a historic relic, a basement bar built into the bones of old Americana. The building dates back to the early 1900s, echoing with a past that deserves to be honored, not phoned in. That's exactly why I expected more from the cocktails. A place with this much atmosphere shouldn't fall flat when it comes to what's in the glass. It's a mismatch--a beautiful stage, but a script that doesn't quite rise to meet it.

We came here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We each ordered a cocktail. She got a blueberry margarita and I got a cucumber gin mixed drink. Both were refreshing and delicious. We ended up ordering another round. For appetizers we ordered the crispy maple Brussels and tuna & salmon tartare. The Brussels were fried to perfection and glazed a sweet maple syrup. It also came with thick cuts of bacon. Definitely recommend this. For the tartare, it was also delicious and fresh. It was mixed with avocado and turnip. We thought the turnip would be off putting but it actually meshed well with the flavors. Came with fried wonton chips. For the main course we shared the NY strip and Lobster Malfaldine. The steak was cooked to perfection with a very nice sear and flavored well. Probably one of the better steaks I've ever had. Definitely beats out any steakhouse steak. The Lobster Malfaldine was also absolutely delicious. Most of the time, lobster pasta is usually a bit bland and lacking in lobster. NOT HERE. They included big chunks of lobster and the sauce was so good. Lastly, we ended our dinner with the Strawberry Hand Pie. This is basically a warm strawberry strudel with vanilla bean ice cream. They used locally sourced strawberries and I'm still thinking about it as I'm writing this review. Adrienne was our server and she was very nice and attentive. Since it was my girlfriend's birthday, they comped our dessert. Super nice staff!

However the quality control & staff members are sadly inconsistent. They are slow to greet slow to check back in (poorly trained). Some times the Bloody Mary has salt sometimes not, sometimes there is 5 pieces of bacon for breakfast sometimes 3. Food often comes out not at the same time so some items are cold while others just arrived (again poor training). At that price point everything should be on point!

The happy hour menu has a great selection of both food and drinks at really reasonable prices. We ordered the chicken tacos, the spinach and artichoke dip, and a drink, and everything was delicious. The tacos were flavorful, the dip was creamy and perfect for sharing, and the drink hit the spot. Service is pretty straightforward you place your order at the counter, and someone brings everything to your table. There's not a lot of interaction with the staff, but everything was smooth and efficient. One of my favorite parts was the atmosphere. The happy hour crowd was a nice mix of people, and the place had a fun, lively energy without feeling overwhelming. Since it was a warm day, my friend and I chose to sit inside. We had a spacious table with plenty of room for our food and drinks, which made it easy to relax and enjoy catching up. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back for happy hour. It's a great spot for good food, reasonably priced drinks, and a casual place to meet up with friends.

Ten Tigers is off the beaten path and I've met friends here for coffee but after 4:00 it transforms into Ten Tigers. Hubby read about their Smash Burgers so we split one and the flavors with chipotle aioli were the bomb! We've been going to Third Window in SB for our Smash Burger fix- no need to drive all that way anymore!! For $17 you get a Smash Burger that feeds 2 and perfectly crispy thin fries fried in beef tallow. They even serve chipotle aioli with fries- Best!! I ordered the special White Sangria which Is so good I had to order on repeat. Since it was Happy Hour, we also ordered the grilled chicken tacos for $8. We both thought those were tasty as well and their avocado salsa verde is the just like the one I make at home. Ambiance is well curated with welcoming outside patio feeling very open and airy with organic Boho accents and wood features. The servers were efficient but very friendly. Ten Tigers is legitimately a 5 Star - will Recommend highly! Since this review, we re-visited on a Friday evening and ordered the same drinks and meal. I can confirm the consistent quality of the food. This Friday night was hopping with several groups celebrating Birthdays. We lucked out and found one of the last open tables. The servers were very busy and took a while to clear off and clean our table - not a big deal because their priority is serving the tables and getting the food and drinks out to the tables. There is a longer line at the counter to order just before Happy Hour ends at 6:00. Tip- plan your evening to arrive earlier. Ten Tigers is now on our repeat list in Ventura.
