After getting our drinks and putting our order in, we didn't see our server again. It took a very long time to get our food, well over 30 minutes. The restaurant was extremely warm. With temps being in the heat advisory range, their air conditioning seemed to be struggling to keep the restaurant cool. When we finally got our food, my daughter who only ordered a stack of pancakes had to wait even longer to get her food. A stack included 4 good sized pancakes which she enjoyed. I ordered the Our Famous Hearty breakfast with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and chicken sausage. I also upgraded to the Key Lime blueberry pancakes. They were my absolute favorite and a must try. I didn't think I would like the chicken sausage based on looks but they were pretty good as well. However, my scrambled eggs and hash browns were completely cold. I'm not one to send back food but I couldn't eat them. She did quickly replace them. My other daughter ordered the Waffle combo with eggs fried hard and a side of fruit. She enjoyed her food as well. My husband ordered the Meat Lovers breakfast with sourdough toast and over easy eggs. He said it was good. The server dropped our bill off not long after we received our food and then we never saw her again like before. We needed to go boxes so my husband went to the counter to ask for some. When he tried to get the attention by saying excuse me to the person working the counter, she looked at him and walked away. So he said excuse me again and she came and helped him with to go boxes. Overall, the majority of the food we had was really good. The hospitality and service was a bit lacking.

It arrived with onion rings... 4 of them, from medium down to small. The dog was mostly warm (not hot), but withered like it had been cooking for a while. The meat was placed atop chili that was cold... cold enough to rob the warmth from some spots of the dog. The bun was a soggy mess, and none of the cheese was melted, so it couldn't have been under the heat lamp. It looked fanciful when served, but it was very underwhelming eating compared to past experiences. My wife had the chicken wrap, served with French fries. In a day and age when competitors give out fries like they need to clear an overstocked situation, it was a small handful that would normally be found in a Happy Meal from the famous clown. The wrap itself was shy on the chicken, and heavy on the dressing inside. What used to be a nice place, appears to be sliding downhill, as if the kitchen has given up. It is a cute shop with friendly staff and they were knowledgeable about what they offered. I got a maple Bacon donut which was amazing! Truly the best Maple Bacon donut I have ever had. Also a raspberry pistachio which was also delicious. The donuts were the same except the toppings but they aren't heavy cake donuts. They were light and airy and broke apart easily kind of like a cinnamon roll. I had the top part with the toppings and dipped the bottom in their maple dip. The dip was delicious but the donuts were coated in a sugar... not a glaze but granulated sugar so if dip is not your thing you would still have a nice sweet donut throughout. I also got the Mango passion refresher which was so good. What amazed me though was my mother who isn't a fan of sweet things even liked the cinnamon donut she got. That says a lot to me because she is picky lol. Also the staff was friendly enough to give a mini donut to sample and that was extremely kind and I Chan say the minis are just as delicious as the full sized donuts. They do not skimp on quality here which is nice because they are a bit in the pricier side, but for the size of the donuts and the quality especially I didn't feel overcharged. Can't wait to try other flavors and even their savory donuts !
