Back to our local Wentzville IHOP for our $6 breakfast. They have four tasty choices, see photo. We usually get the omelette or house scramble but they're all good. It's nice to go somewhere for a good, filling breakfast that doesn't cost $10+. This IHOP is very quiet and usually not too busy. I think it suffers a bit from being slightly off the beaten track on the "other" side of the hiway past Rural King & Texas Roadhouse. Easy to get to from the Wentzville Summit area of motels and B&B theater. Definitely worth stopping in! Oh...the coffee is good & hot. The servers, Melissa & Veronica are wonderful. read more

We came in as a big group and called ahead but it still took a bit for us to be seated. The service was a bit slow and it took a while for our food to come out. It didn't seem as busy but I guess the server had multiple big tables. It's understandable but just wasn't the best experience. The food itself was regular and nothing too crazy. The pancakes were decent but portions were generous. The wait time made the meal less enjoyable. I might give it another chance in the future. read more

This is the second time I've been to this ihop. The service is so slow. Not enough help to get around to the customers. We waited so long to order and then again for our coffee and then again for our food. I had to stop the server to ask for something because no one checked in once during our breakfast. The food was tasty though. And there was ample parking. We tried the waffle, pancakes and the veggie omelette. read more

Ordered at this location online, said my food will be done in 15 minutes. Showed up about 20 minutes later, told them my name and they said it would be out in 15 minutes. At this point I was slightly upset that I had to wait an extra 15 minutes, but it was no big deal. They come back out after 40 minutes to tell me they never received my order in the first place. Could've been an internet issue but how are you going to keep a customer waiting for for 40 minutes just to tell them they never received the order. I and my two grandchildren were at IHop my order was unsatisfactory. I ordered hot cakes hash browns link sausages and bacon the hash browns were to salty the links were greasy and old and my bacon was hard old and Burt the service was just awful. Placed an online order for curbside pick up and waited 30 minutes in the "To-Go" parking spots out front and never got my order. I went inside to pick it up myself and it wasn't even made. All that money down the drain for nothing. Never ever coming back here. A huge lack of breakfast food in this area forces people to resort to this establishment. There were 2 of us. We waited 15-20 minutes to be sat. The server came got the drink order then the food order in a timely manner. That was the only timely thing done. After noticing a table of 6 teenagers sat after to us receiving their food I stopped our server to ask where ours was. She said she check and came back and said it should be 5-10 more minutes. 20 minutes later the larger group received their checks and we still had not gotten our order. I again asked the server who said they were busy and had a lot of orders and there wasn't anything she could do. She apologized and walked away. She then returned to say the kitchen list our ticket and that it was being prepared on the "fly." It looked as if the server told the manager what happened and rather than come apologize or offer assistance she was seen eating bacon and staying in the kitchen area. Once we finally got our food an hour and a half AFTER sitting down the manager came out to bus the table behind us (who was also sat after us and done before us). After she finished she then said that our order would be compensated for the wait. The restaurant did not seem overly busy and others were receiving their food timely. The fact that I asked twice about the food and once told the kitchen was busy then that the ticket was lost. Just own the mistake and be apologetic and as a manager be present in your dining room and offer apologies in a more timely manner so that it is seen as genuine and not an afterthought. read more

A really nice breakfast with my mom. We came in after a doctors appointment, and we had the sweetest waitress. The coffee was hot and full. I got the veggie omelet with fruit as the side. It was delicious. Very good veggies in the omelet. I ordered it just egg whites, no cheese. They got the order perfect. My mom got the smokehouse combo. The pancakes were amazing! She put the boisenberry syrup on them. The restrooms were clean. The service, like I said, was great. And the food was delicious. I definitely recommend. read more

We were seated quickly and greeted by our server "KC". Nice and pleasant service and time of service was acceptable. Senior price starts at age 55+. Coffee is good. No French Vanilla creamer but they do offer non dairy options. Children of certain ages eat for free. We don't have any children as their all adults. A very good location. Clean restroom. read more

IHOP in Wentzville on 9-12-22 at 9am was not busy so my wife and I went in. Initially we waited about 10 minutes to be seated. We were one of two couples waiting. After we were seated we waited another 10 minutes and nobody came to our table. A lady at the next table said she's been waiting 40 minutes for her food. My wife and I stood to leave and only then the hostess came to us and said she could take our order. We thanked her, but left. There were two servers working, the place was not busy, and they couldn't keep up. It will be a long time before we go back. read more

The food was good and the staff was nice. The place was clean, but man trying to pay the bill is a hassle. The checkout lane is slow then if you are paying cash you have to hunt down the waitstaff to tip them if you don't have enough change at the table. They really should allow the waitstaff to be the cashier at the table to better serve the customers. read more

NO social distancing here and Awful experience!!! Every table is full. Makes no sense. Waited for 15 minutes to get a waiter to acknowledge us. Service at the Wentzville, MO location is diffently something to be desired. First off my husband never got creamer for his coffee. My kids never got their drinks refilled, and are waitress never checked on us to see how we were doing. My son found several long hairs in his pancakes and eggs and couldn't finish his meal. We waited over 15 minutes after we were done eating to be able to flag someone down to bring us our check. Our waitress brought us the wrong check. As my husband and I were looking it over and reading the receipt she comes over and rips it out of my hand and walks off. Comes back with a different receipt and slams it on the table. I informed her that she could afford to lose her attitude. As she walked off she yells, "yeah your so right." My husband sent the kids and I to the car. The waitress proceeded to tell my husband the check she first gave us was from the party that sat at that table before us. They walked out on the bill because of bad service and food. We ask for the manager and she comes over with really nothing to say. She takes our receipt and goes to check us out. My husband tries to explain to the waitress why he was mad and the only comment she made was, "you don't have to tip me if you don't want to." Manager came back with two receipts. She ran the receipt that the people ran out on and ours on our card. When asked to reimburse us the money she said she was sorry but it would take 48 to 72 hours to reimburse our card for the other people's bill. He demanded a refund of both payments for very poor service and food. She said she was going to refund us the first receipt but not ours. He was livid. Told the manager that the waitress wondered us had no right to be in customer service and that he would not be returning to that location ever. They just smiled and said, "I'm sorry you feel that way sir." As my husband said we will not be going back to that location. read more

My wife and I met the in laws here for breakfast even though it was busy. We were sat within 15 mins and our food only took 10-15 mins to get out after ordering. The food was pretty good for an IHOP. Bob Evans is our usual breakfast place, but I'll be back for the chicken and waffles! read more

IHOP is a great place to go for breakfast. Their pancakes are absolutely delicious. We decided to go there for lunch and we both ordered the turkey and dressing. When we finally got our lunch, mine was partially cold and my husbands was hot. The stuffing was so awful I could not eat it and the mashed potatoes were from a box. The stuffing tasted like there was something wrong with it. The next day we both has a stomach ache all day I really think this was the fault of the cook. They need to get a different recipe. I eat at this Ihop about once a week and enjoy it very much. Same order everytime and I always get a water to go at the end and now they bring it without me even asking :) I have had only good service from a variety of different servers and the manager is always pleasant to chat with. I really use to love me some Ihop until the pancakes shrunk and dried up on the way from the kitchen to my table. LOL Those pancakes have gotten smaller and you knot gonna tell me other wise. This location always has the same issues. Bad service. Food arrives slowly, waiters barely check on you, the hosts seem preoccupied with other tasks all the time. The food itself is what you expect from IHOP. I think the issue is maybe partially staffing, but it is also a very low expectation of the manager I assume. starting a new thing of going to Ihop as much as i can, last night, I went in and WOW! I went in and there was only a few tables, and me and my friend were seated quickly. Our waitress, Angela, was very attentive and sweet. We never had to ask for refills and our food came out just right. I had talked to the manager, Crystal, and a fine lady. It was Saturday morning there was a small wait to groups ahead of myself and my husband it was less than 10 minutes which is not bad it's Saturday I understand they're busy however an older man walked in and was greeted as a regular. Wow, these ceiling squares need to be replaced STAT. Many of them with water marks. This is a quick, easy fix, so unsure of why it hasn't been done. Amazing service, and the food was on par with a chain restraint. The waitresses went out of their way to be friendly and hospitable, and the place seemed to be taken care of and clean. However, I cannot find it in myself to give more than a 2 star review. To say that the language used by higher ups was "distasteful" is an understatement! What goes behind closed doors is none of my business, however, when my younger sisters can hear the servers getting yelled at, and being introduced to inappropriate language as kids under 10, then I have to put my foot down. That is absolutely unacceptable. It got to the point that I wanted to reach out to the poor servers and tell them they deserve better. Shame on management for running a business so unprofessionally! Not only could my little sisters hear the disagreements from in the kitchen, but it is a shame that such young workers are being treated badly. This is the best place to go for any meal. (Breakfast,lunch,dinner) Their pancakes are the best ever, even though sometimes their service is a little slow it is only because they take time to make sure there food is amazing and will please their customers!
