I don't know what I was looking for when This donut shop appeared in my list, but I am so glad it did. I don't love close so we came a long way! It is a cute shop with friendly staff and they were knowledgeable about what they offered. I got a maple Bacon donut which was amazing! Truly the best Maple Bacon donut I have ever had. Also a raspberry pistachio which was also delicious. The donuts were the same except the toppings but they aren't heavy cake donuts. They were light and airy and broke apart easily kind of like a cinnamon roll. I had the top part with the toppings and dipped the bottom in their maple dip. The dip was delicious but the donuts were coated in a sugar... not a glaze but granulated sugar so if dip is not your thing you would still have a nice sweet donut throughout. I also got the Mango passion refresher which was so good. What amazed me though was my mother who isn't a fan of sweet things even liked the cinnamon donut she got. That says a lot to me because she is picky lol. Also the staff was friendly enough to give a mini donut to sample and that was extremely kind and I Chan say the minis are just as delicious as the full sized donuts. They do not skimp on quality here which is nice because they are a bit in the pricier side, but for the size of the donuts and the quality especially I didn't feel overcharged. Walking in, you see a full display of their delicious looking doughnuts that make you question your dietary choices... My group ordered some goodies and I ordered my keto doughnut. Was INCREDIBLY bummed when one of the employees told me they were out of the chocolate doughnut, but he had some chocolate keto frosting. I told him to give me whatever they had. These are great donuts! It's all the same donut with different icing, good news is it's a solid donut- soft & perfectly sweet. The maple flavored ones are very good, the blueberry was great as well. The strawberry icing was only mildly strawberry but good regardless. I would love to try the savory ones, next time for sure! That's a cool switch up for a donut shop! I went on a Saturday with a friend and we ordered the OG Pepperoni, the Pig & Fig, cinnamon sugar and coconut cream minis. The best bite here for me was the coconut cream mini. I thought it was delicious. I think the savory pizza donuts would have been more successful if the quality of the cheese, sauce, and toppings was better. The tomato sauce was not good. I really wanted to like this place because the donuts are genuinely excellent, but the service has been consistently disappointing. This wasn't an isolated mistake. We've had multiple delivery orders where parts of the order were simply forgotten. When we place pickup orders, they're almost always 15-20 minutes later than the quoted pickup time. When we order in person, whether dining in or taking food to go, something is routinely missing from the order. Everyone makes mistakes occasionally, and this isn't a negative review over a single bad experience. The problem is the consistency. After repeated visits and orders, it has become the expectation rather than the exception that something will be wrong. To be fair, the shop is clean, and the donuts are some of the best I've had. Unfortunately, great donuts aren't enough to overcome consistently poor execution. If I can't count on receiving the food I paid for, I can't justify coming back. Pricy, but so worth it. Presentation is always so beautiful, flaky and yet moist. These flavors are anything but basic. I went on a Saturday evening. It was around 4 and they were completely empty of customers. I was greeted immediately but the six pack did take some time. However, the wait was well worth it as they were fresh and warm. The inside is clean and inviting with decorations. My favorite doughnut out of my six pack is the French Toast. Delicious! These donuts aren't even close to typical. I would describe their texture as a croissant without the flakes. They crunch on the outside and reveal tons of air pockets and tender layers inside. Parking was a breeze! There's a drive in for those lucky people who can decide what they want! As for the doughnuts, they are hands down the best donuts I have had (and I travel to Chicago a lot!) and will be going back. Not your basic flavors, but all delicious! The doughnuts are not bad either, some of them were overly sweet but some were also good. We did two mixed boxes, cut them into fourth's and allowed everyone to taste what they wanted. Fall is in the air, so their fall flavors are out -- apple pie, pumpkin chai are two we tried. They do small batches, so when they ran out of the apple they made me some without question and they were ready within 5 minutes. The all around favorite was the maple bacon. They remind me of a thicker funnel cake - super crispy on the outside with a glazed layer, and soft and tasty dough in the center. Mildly pricey, as it was more than four dollars a donut. That being said they were a quality doughnut- although definitely not in a traditional style. They were big and definitely not really eatable like a doughnut. You almost have to cut them up or break it in half. Little bit lighter if you'd like that style. But the flavors were good and they had many different kinds such as a banana split donut, French toast, style, caramel apple and so on and so forth.. My donut was given to me in a bag without any napkins wrapped around it. Just a donut thrown into the bottom of the bag. After noticing it, I went inside and asked them for the wrapper that usually goes around the donuts. They had no issue with me grabbing it but if it was that simple, why wouldn't they put it in there in the first place? I could understand if they were out of the wrappers but they had a ton of them sitting out free to grab. The donut was fantastic but I wish that they would've taken the time to wrap my donut.
