My wife and I enjoy eating there. We always get great service. the food comes out pretty quick, always hot and good tasting. We usually go there 2-3 times a week because we enjoy it that much. I do wish the prices were lower but that is not a restaurant office just the head office. I have only one employee there that could use a bit of friendliness training, but her service is still good. The food there is pretty good. I usually get the Sirloin Tips & Eggs. Sweet tender meat with eggs to your liking and hash browns. The hash brown that comes with it need to be a bit softer, so that they can break easily. Ambience is nice - casual and laid back. It does get noisy and crowded at late night weekends, but that is supposed to happen. But the servers do not seem to care much. They have messed up my orders a couple of times, be it the food or the bill. read more

I don't think Google maps got the correct operating times of this location. They no longer seem to be open 24/7. They also are not available to do online orders most of the time. It looks like this place is always understaffed. Employees seem pretty exhausted too. The food is as good as it gets at IHOP. My favorite item is probably the spicy poblano omelette. It could be a little difficult to find parking during the busy hours. read more

The worst customer service. My server was a young girl and had hair all over her jacket and was repeatedly touching her face and neck before bringing our food. She was rude and would not let us change our order at all or even cancel an order. That's not to speak for everyone because it was only one young white lady who was looking unappealing for her job. WISH I knew her name. I used to think IHOP was cool but she ruined my experience. I ordered IHOP Grubhub the other night and my pancakes were literally miniature. I go here with my friends every once in a while and the food is decent but service is horrible. We once waited 30 minutes for someone to even ask us what we wanted to drink while the staff were talking in the back by the kitchen. As they came over, due to their horrible service we just left. The reason for me giving them a two star and not a one star is because, as I said, their food is decent; not good and not terrible. Their service is absolutely pathetic and I never leave rating but I feel like they actually need to do something with how they treat their customers. They used to have a lot of Indian waiter and waitresses here but now there are more Americans. The service has gotten better. A couple months ago (when they have more Indian servers), you could actually see them flirting with each other... Having been here so often, I have been served by pretty much all the servers here. I like this black girl server (sorry, didn't know the name) because she is really nice. Worst server I've ever come across is a Caucasion male with long blonde hair usually in a ponytail. If I remember him right, his name is Karson. He will judge you if you order "water" for drinks and so on. Personally, I love to order "water" because I don't usually drink when I'm dining at restaurant. And he will give you this despising look. So I would have to change my drinks to other fancy drinks. He wanders around A LOT and when he finally get us our food, they are already COLD. I've never experienced this with other servers, even the young Indian servers. I could also see his LONG fingernails which seemed to have black stains (EWW!!!) Having to work at restaurants before, I know that it is really unsanitary to have long disgusting nails! I tried to complain while I was there, but didn't know who to look for and it would be awkward if I did. Other than that, the food were GREAT!!! I think iHop should watch who they hire. read more

Walked in to a 50° ihop to be welcomed by crappy staff. Had to get blankets from the car to be able to stay as did many of the other customers. Waitress was not in a good mood and she showed it. Our table didn't have original syrup at it so when we had to take it from another table it was stuck down to it from excess syrup. The coffee tasted like dirt. Our family decided to eat here because our toddler was hungry and we were close. Never again. It was a ""kids eat free" special. We were seated and the waitress explained about kids eat free as she handed us a smaller menu with an elf on the cover and a bunch kids looking good on it. Our toddler just wanted pancackes so I asked if we could substitute regular pancakes for the green ones on the cover. She said yeah, but I could get you double chocolate pancake smiley face meal with eggs and bacon for free. I told her that he didn't need that much sugar and just plain pancakes would do. When the bill came we were charged for his plain pancakes. We asked why. "Because you have to order off the kids menu for it to be free." She holds up a paper menu that she had not shown us when talking about kids eating for free. "I thought I was ordering of the kids menu." I said. "No, I guess I didn't explain but that wasn't the kids menu." Pointing to the laminated menu she had handed us before. Then the manager was called over so he could take the pancakes off the bill. She was sorry. Manager comes over and we explain. He says, "The kids free button only works on the kids menu items." " I understand that, But I thought I was ordering off the kids menu. It's why I specifically asked if a substitution was ok. "But you didn't so I can't do anything." "You could comp it." "I could, but I'm not going to." My husband jumps in at this point. He say pay the damn thing but we won't be back. We pay the bill and turn to go and the Manager says under his breath, "You should learn to read." Was told bacon could not be substituted for sausage. My sister ordered a side of crepes in place of her side of pancakes and was told it would be $1.99 extra. When she got her meal with crepes, the crepes had no filling and had strawberries on them when she asked for raspberries. Then she received her ticket and it was almost $20 for a meal, a meal of crepes (instead of the side order she asked for) and her drink. The IHOP on Rock Road is very clean and well maintained. Most of the times I have visited there has been late at night after a movie. The service was good, but not blazingly fast. The thing I like best is getting your coffee in an urn so you can keep it refilled on your own. That is fabulous. Food quality has always been good with good sized portions. The breakfast items are outstanding, other menu items are just average. The menu items from regular meals and sandwiches definitely brings out the fact they are a "cookie cutter" national chain. Nothing dramatically good, nothing bad. The best features of the restaurant are the fact it is open 24/7-365 days per year, easy to access location, and cleanliness. We return there regularly for late night meals due to those factors. This is definitely a restaurant to keep on your "go to" list for those odd hour hunger pains. read more

I had just received some coupons in the mail. My dog was scheduled for Grooming at Petsmart and i figured that I could probably kill an hour or so eating and reading a magazine. I went Online and looked at their menu. Lots of Breakfast items, but I am not a Breakfast person. I looked through their Sandwiches, Burgers and Salads -- I even looked through their Dinners. The appointment was at 8 am, which is too early for me to eat a heavy meal, so after talking with my Server, Ashley, I selected the 'Southwest Club' Sandwich. I told her that if they put Mayo on it -- not to (I hate mayo) and she said that they use a Ranch Salsa Blend. I ordered an Iced Tea, as well. I ran out to my truck to grab a Baby Crochet magazine to read while waiting for the food. I had barely gotten to the page that I wanted to read when Ashley showed up with the food. She had recommended their fries and I also asked her to bring me one of their small fruit cups. I ate some of the fries, but they were kind of undercooked and not 'Seasoned' as they claim. Maybe it was just too early in the day, I don't know. The fruit cup had 2 crunchy pieces of Honeydew, 2 chucks of Pineapples, 4 Grapes & 1 Mandarin Orange slice. It was ok, but I was hoping for some Watermelon & Canteloupe! The season is coming to an end and I kind of wanted one last Hooray :) A couple sat down next to me as I was finishing up and they ordered their Breakfasts with the Fruit Cup and specifically asked for NO Honeydew -- figured they must be regulars!! The Club was a large sandwich and I ended up taking half home with some leftover fries. The Bread wasn't Toasted so the Ranch Salsa made the bread soggy. But I figured that I would toast some Bread and replace it and crisp up the fries in the oven and hit them with some seasoning salt. What impressed me about this restaurant was how Clean it appeared. The Landscaping was lovely out front and the Staff was Friendly and Efficient. I haven't been to an IHOP since living in Southern California, so 5 or 6 years ago. But they usually make a really good Burger and I used to like their Fried Chicken -- it was just a little too early for anything like that. read more
