I went in yesterday to get my nipples pierced, and the experience was amazing! I was nervous as can be, but the entire staff was warm and friendly, and as soon as I walked in I knew I chose the right place. I walked into the floor being swept and vacuumed, and all the display cases wiped down (I got there pretty close to opening time). When you're getting pierced, cleanliness is the #1 priority so it was very good to see as soon as I walked in. Once I had filled out the paperwork and chosen my barbells, I was invited into a spacious back room that had window coverings and a comfy looking chair in the middle of it. My piercer was Cory, and he talked me through what was happening, and how a lot of the pain is in my head and will not be in my body. Both piercings were done within a matter of minutes, and Cory was such a perfectionist with placement that I didn't feel nervous about the end result. The things I really love about this place- #1: it is really clean! #2: the staff is so, so understanding about privacy and nerves. Every time a staff member needed to come in to the piercing room, Cory made sure to check with me. Also, before I took my shirt and bra off, they covered the security cameras. #3: they have a wide selection of barbells, rings, etc! I could have chosen other colors and designs rather than the classic stainless steel barbell, but I felt more comfortable with classic, and they were very understanding about how personal of a decision it is. I got my nipples pierced here, then I took my now ex boyfriend to get his nipples pierced here. And a few days ago I took my coworker to get her nipples pierced here. You really can't beat 2/40 piercings. The only complaint I have is that my ex's nipples were $65... just because he is male? I'm not sure. I would think that man's nipples would cost the same exact price as a female nipple but whatever. They're clean, usually have good music playing. Corey is nice and professional. I called before I went in and they were SUPER helpful. I was looking for some new jewelry for my monroe and didn't know what length I needed. I went in and again they were really helpful in finding me what I needed, they even said it was guaranteed so long as I had both pieces and my receipt. Well, not even two weeks later it kept getting loose one day at work and before I had a chance to change it the front came off. Couldn't find it. So I guess I'm out 40$ and my jewelry. I got my industrial done today! The piercers there were super helpful and really nice! They were able to taper my old line piercings instead of re-pierce them and made my industrial a super smooth process(still hurt but it's also a huge needle. I'm a winnie I know.) Came in here to get my nipples pierced. They're grade 3 inverted and hard to manipulate out. Serena was very professional and patient and took her time manipulating them out & successfully pierced them straight & at the base behind my nipples so they don't re-invert. I got my nose re pierced for my birthday. Corey was very friendly and explained in great detail about the piercings and after care. Since it was being re pierced. I figured there would be a lot of pain but to my amazement it didn't hurt. It was over in seconds the only pain was during the actual piercing. It feels fine. Update: I went in today to get a helix piercing. Everyone was super nice and really helpful. The piercer was quick and very knowledable and it was probably one of my least painful piercings. Will definitely be going back there for future piercings! I'm also glad I got to go back and actually get something done. So sad, I went to get my septum pierced but they didn't have the jewelry. So it's bikini season and I've been working super hard to make sure I had the abs for this summer. But, it wouldn't be completed if I had my belly button pierced! I've been waiting to get my belly button pierced for some time now, and on a random Tuesday, I just decided to go for it. I called into the store asking if they do walk ins, or if it was appointment only. The guy who answered the phone told me to just swing by, they didn't have a long line or wait so immediately I rushed over. As my GPS navigated me to this store, I was kinda nervous because it wasn't exactly in the best location, but truth be told, I've seen worst. Any ways, upon arrival, I was greeted by Cory, who told me about the special deals that they had, and hooked me up with two jewelry pieces instead of one for my belly button. I was stoked because they had a lot of nice selections of jewelry, plus purchasing rings can be expensive at times. Though I was somewhat scared of getting my belly pierced, Taylor, the lady who did the piercing, was super chill and helped ease the pain away. When she told me to lie on the table, she just conversed with me and did her thing...and honestly, I didn't even feel it! To my surprise, she was done within 5 minutes. Before leaving, Cory gave me a long sheet of paper to explain the procedures of taking care of my belly button. I was so surprised how much he valued me as a customer and told me that he wanted me to come back in within a week for a check up. This place is awesome. At first, I was a little nervous because it looks sketchy from the outside but don't be fooled! This is a very professional and clean shop run by two very knowledgeable piercers. I am a little older than their usual demographic and I was treated with respect and kindness. The prices are reasonable, and they even offer a free check-up the next week. That's super important because a lot can happen in that first week! I got my tragus pierced (which did not hurt, but your mileage can vary) and it was very pretty. They explained how to take care of it and gave an informative care sheet. Unfortunately, I had to take it out 4 months later (no fault of them!) because it was an angry little piercing and I was annoyed with trying to appease it. I tried to take it out myself but apparently I have big gorilla hands and couldn't unscrew it. I went back to Iicon and had them take it out. They were super nice about it and helped me understand what happened! (blood blister, ew). They did it for free too! (but I tipped) So it's an awesome place to get your piercing done, so helpful and kind. Not stuck up at ALL (even for us older folks going through a mid-life crisis). My friend and I were being spontaneous the other day and decided to go get the triple reverse helix. We looked on yelp an found iicon, so we decided to go there. When we got there they told us that maybe our ears would be too small for the triple but that we could definitely try the double. We were not completely convinced but they were super friendly and tried to find something we would love. My friend and I left to get cash and think about it, but we came back and decided to go for it. I went first and they were again nice, supportive, and encouraging. My friend's ear was still too small for the piercing but they were quick to find her a new piercing that she would like. She decided to get the double conch. The girls at Iicon Victoria and Serena Walked us through every step of the way, including tons of advice on after care to take care of the piercing. I came here to get a daith piercing in both ears after reading reviews that these help cure migraines (not proven, just recommended). But after 6 years of daily migraines I figured, hey why not give it a try. I went in very nervous and upon arrival all my nerves were gone. The facility was clean, the service was fast, and the job was perfectly done. Cory did my piercings but Taylor and I chatted through the whole thing as well. They were both AWESOME! Got my anti tragus pierced yesterday afternoon and I'm so in love with it! Hehe it's been two years since I've been here, but I had to come back because of their 2/$40 deal! I love how they have signs outside that advertise the deal so well, definitely gets people's attention! Or at least it caught mine haha. They definitely upgraded to a more spacious place because I remember they had a little spot back in 2013. It's pretty plain inside, except for the glass cases of jewelry :-) They have a huge selection! & now they have a receptionist, who asked us what piercings we wanted to get and then she explained the forms we had to sign. Basically... 1) Tell them what you're there for. If you're getting a piercing, you sign some forms and remember your ID! 2) The receptionist showed us the standard/basic studs that come free with the piercings & you'd pay more if you wanted a gem or somethin' fancier haha. 3) You pay right there and she hands you your receipt & then you just sit down and wait! ***CASH*** only! There's an ATM in there though. Anyways, we waited for like 10 mins or so. It wasn't a bad wait at all, but like there was literally no one else in there getting a piercing...but heeey I wasn't gonna be rude and ask them why they're taking their sweet time LOL I mean they're gonna be stabbing me with a needle anyways! Corey left for a lunch break or something, so Taylor was washing her hands and getting things prepped. My friend went first and got his nipple pierced haha it looks fab!!!! :-) Then it was my turn and wow if you're gonna get an anti tragus piercing too, it doesn't even hurt! I think I imagined the pain to be way worse but it wasn't...I mean I did get hella red though hahaha ew. I like that Taylor let me take a moment to decide where I really wanted my piercing placed at bc I was also considering the snug piercing (she told me people call the snug/anti tragus the same thing but Google says otherwise but whatever LOL) I think the snug might have hurt because it's on harder cartilage o.o & she was really sweet! Talking to her made me feel more comfortable and she's so nice! LOL the needle fell in my bra when she was done with my piercing .___. Afterwards, we went back out to the front where the receptionist gives us a paper with the care instructions and also explained them to us. I would totally recommend this place, but the reason I knocked off a star was because I got piercings at another place in Old Sac where they gave you sea salt to go in a baggie for your ear soaks...haha but nahhhhh whatever I'm not mad bc I didn't get any salt LOL just go to Target and get some non-iodized sea salt! It also would have been cool if they had written down what needle gauge they used for our piercings but eh. Remember: 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt + 8 oz of water to clean ya piercings ;-) Oh yeah they'll also tell you to come back inna week for a check up on how well your piercing's going! Hmm don't know when I'll get another piercing...but I'll def come back here! If you have any urge what so ever to get a new piercing, there is no other place within 50 miles that i could or would recommend. Taylor and Corey are beyond amazing. They are professional, knowledgeable, fair, and honest. Their facility is clean well lit and well stocked, with a lot of different jewelry styles and colors to chose from. Their prices are more than fair. they offer great deals, birthday specials, and even the piercings that they charge 'full price' for are still significantly less expensive than their competitors. Thus far Taylor has pierced my industrial, tregus, septum (both pierced and guaged up one size) my left nostril, two piercings on the right side of my lip and one on the left side, and both of my nipples. I've bought several pieces of their jewelry for my existing and new piercings and have loved every piece i've purchased.
