IKEA has always been a cool concept to me. I love that you can walk around show rooms and see different ideas and ways to use the products. There's so much to see. I don't typically have much going on to where I need furniture or bigger items but I do find a few useful items from time to time. Also since I don't get big items I don't fully know how it works to pull the parts you need but seems easy enough as it's usually packed. They have self checkout which is nice but still longer lines. They have other amenities here as well but I usually go just to look around mostly.

I love IKEA! There breakfast has changed a bit since I started going there. It's still good but I miss the French toast sticks that were my grandsons favorite! The value you can't beat. $5.99 for all that food. Service was great and there were three breakfast selections.

I was so excited that an Ikea was so close to the Mall of America that I knew I had to stop in. I took an uber and spent the better part of Sunday morning walking around the place seeing the sights of what's new with them. The Ikea near me in Michigan's huge, but this is much larger, I swear. I checked out a few items that I had my eye on like storage containers, shelving units and much more. I love the rooms they set up here so you can get a feel of what it's like when it's in your home. Their prices are reasonable and even though you have to assemble it yourself, it usually looks super cute once done. Compared to what furniture costs these days, this place is fabulous. Staff was always around and I didn't have a problem if I need to ask questions. Registers seem to move quickly and I didn't get lost this time!

The tray includes the salmon platter (with potatoes and a vegetable medallion), a side salad, and lingonberry juice. I approve.

This is a good IKEA. It's especially well matched to the area. It's within walking distance of Mall of America (MOA), for which some of MOA's overflow parking sits right in front of and adjacent to the IKEA property. Then, in what is reputed to be America's most Nordic-centric metro area, that there would be a large and prospering IKEA store is to be expected. This is a stacked IKEA, hence a multi-level store. The restaurant is located on the highest floor. I made several visits to it for meals and used it as a reference point to meet up with a local friend and get something to eat before doing other things in the Twin Cities. The restaurant is about the size of the ones in larger stores. It is very clean. On one side of the restaurant, the tall windows look back at MOA. The staff is helpful and friendly. If they are only using one queuing line, then the wait to get to the food serving area can be a little longer. On one occasion, which is pictured, lunch consisted of the salmon platter, a small side salad, and the lingonberry juice. The salmon platter was definitely good, though I could easily eat two pieces. (That's what buffets are for.) The small salad had very fresh ingredients and there are dressings for your salad placed near the coffee/tea/condiments area. While many berry juices can taste odd or tart, their lingonberry juice is delicious, so I helped myself to a refill. The pricing is much like that at other IKEA restaurants. However, kudos to these folks for making a substitution when they had run out of something. In the salmon platter, the vegetables are mixed beans. Since they had run out on one occasion, they substituted a vegetable medallion. At that visit, my friend was also there and approved of these vegetable medallions I had talked about. It's also a little bit easier to get out of the store without being forced through the "maze" at this IKEA. You get toward the cashiering stands and the exit sooner than in some other IKEA stores. There is plenty of parking. There is parking under the entirety of the underside of the store since it is raised. There is another parking deck at one side. (I don't use the word ramp ... that's what you use to get onto a limited access highway.) There is even some additional parking at grade in front. If you choose to take the Metro (light rail train), the terminus at MOA would only require that you walk a level 2 or 3 blocks to get to this store.

The black pot rack you can purchase with the island

On a whim decided to stop by to see kitchens to get an idea for an island and the store is very large. The parking on the upper level outside is the best location to enter main area where carts are and access to main entry. We found our way through the kitchens in awe of beautiful designs and lo and behold we spotted an island for the kitchen that was stand alone. The Vadholma island is a black open base that has two shelves and a thick oak veneer top and a rack you can purchase separately to hang pots from and an extra shelf . I had to pinch myself in the versatility of the island at a perfect 49" long and about 35 wide with seating . You have to buy or use your own stools which we had. It came in two boxes and carts readily available and two gals(us) got it on the cart and was manageable. You can scan and go and by pass the longer lines at self pay registers. It was very easy. Long story short about 1 hour 20 minutes to assemble- picture instructions with no words and all parts fit and were supplied. IKEA restrooms very clean but a long way from food area which was pretty barren, no help around, and no drinks stocked in coolers. That's the reason for four stars. The facility requires a lot of walking to check out but for us worth it. Suggest you are refreshed, not in a hurry and take your time through all the departments You cannot beat the selection, cleanliness of store, daycare while you shop, ample parking and pricing in store.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about IKEA...thank you Sweden for sharing this wonderful gem of a furniture store with us. It's my go to place for furniture storage pieces, kitchen gadgets, and then of course impulse buying about $100 more than I planned when I go. Soooo many cute things I can't resist. The kids stuff is fabulous - toys, furniture, kitchen wares, etc. Tips... 1. Bring reusable bags with you! 2. Bring your hunger so you can eat at the restaurant. 3. There's a kiddo hangout if you want to shop sans kids. Again thank you Sweden for IKEA and your meatballs!

Everytime I enter ikea I feel like I've been transported into another dimension! The store is busy but well kept. I always love walking around and imagining what my life would be like if I lived in their display rooms. Oh the hours of fun I could have! I came here on 6/23/24 specifically to buy a lamp and I'm happy to report they had the exact one I wanted in stock! I love it with my whole heart and am happy to have the extra light source in my room! Thanks IKEA, or should I say tack!

Come on a weekday (evening if you work days) to avoid the crowds. It can be a very peaceful experience if so. The real and faux plants area had a makeover and it is striking! This is the best place to get cheap plants before company comes over to make your space feel staged (or make it look like you take care of plants with a fresh set). Self-check out is easy. I always come to ikea last when searching for space solutions and I need to stop that. They always have what I couldn't quite find online and cheaper. It sucks when you discover that after you already bought something else that was more expensive.

Every trip to IKEA turns into hours of looking at everything they have to offer. The rooms designed there are gorgeous and such good inspo for future projects. Self service check out is great. We ate Swedish meatballs beforehand to make sure we were ready to get out shop on. The only weird thing was at checkout we added 2 cones to put order and the worker at the food court threw away the whole receipt.

We just stopped in for dinner. We enjoy the Swedish meatballs and this time didn't disappoint. They were very good.

Swedish meatballs, Mac n cheese, Caesar salad, and soda
    Robert W.

My friends have hyped up the Ikea restaurant quite a bit over the years, but I always was full every time I came into Ikea. Finally, yesterday I was hungry enough to want to eat. I ordered the Swedish meatball dinner, a side of macaroni and cheese, a Caesar salad, and a soda to share with my partner. The restaurant is cafeteria style where you grab a tray and grab what you want, and for the hot food, someone will scoop/give you what you want. You then take your tray to the front and pay. The big positive: the food is insanely cheap. We got all that food for only $16 and it left both of us more than satisfied. The Swedish meatballs were great and they lived up to the hype my friends had built up about them. The rest of the food, however, not so much. Nothing was bad or anything, but all of the other food was extremely bland and lacking seasoning. The Mac n cheese has the perfect consistency, but just needed more salt and some flavor. Very similar can be said about the mashed potatoes and green beans. The cranberry sauce was good and so was the gravy. The Caesar salad was very mediocre. Would not get again. Overall, a decent option when you're already there shopping and need a quick, cheap meal.

I have been a decade long fan and customer of Lovesac. I have had a long standing relationship with…read morethe associates at this location and after deciding I needed to complete my living space, I soon learned my favorite associate was moving on! She left me in the hands of Ry. Ry was an associate I had not met prior, but he picked up exactly where she left off. When I say we were family from the start, I mean this man had no hesitation. He bent over backwards to make sure the design and selection of the piece I decided on (the M lounger) was precisely what I wanted and fit exactly what I needed accordingly. He was a saint! On that fateful day, which I decided to purchase, he came in after hours and walked me through the whole process step by step which was especially helpful since I was unable to be in-store that day! And I'll be honest we had a slight hiccup, but family is family as I like to say and Ry mended the situation again without hesitation. The customer service was outstanding! Now for the product. We started with a simple 4 seats 5 sides configuration, but I soon realized that for what i was hoping to accomplish this was inadequate. We progressed to larger selections and soon found that the M lounger was plus a side was exactly what I needed! There was never a moment of urgency or pushing towards the larger selection, Ry did very well at letting me decide and helping me see what each selection could offer me. Now for the design. We had been looking at so many couches at this point that I had nearly forgotten that I got to accommodate more than just my seating needs. Their store is draped with the finest linens a couch could desire! I chose mine to be dressed in a corded velvet in granite. I can say for the folks at home, it passes the naked test and its so comfortable you'll never want to have guests again! I should also say that I upgraded my fill to Lovesoft, on the sole factor that my covers were free(flash sale!!), and let me tell you! Talk about have the full package... you won't put your husband out on the couch ever again, because he might not come back to bed! Its that F@!$in' comfortable! So if you're reading this... It's not too late! Get your ass down to Lovesac and treat it!

I came in specifically to look at Joybird sofas as they are an authorized retailer and have sofas on the sales floor. Its scary to make an online purchase (and such a large, custom purchase) without touching and feeling an item, so I was thrilled to learn this store was so close to home and had what I was looking to purchase. I had a great time working with Kristin. After countless emails and a couple visits to the store I ordered my sofa, and also ended up with a chair and lamp. Kristin was great to offer her designer opinion while listening to mine and helping me make the big decision based on my existing home design. They offer financing (OAC) and 'white glove' delivery (they take all the packaging stuff with them when they leave, set the item in the room of your choosing) just like Joybird, but they will for other items you purchase there, too. The kicker is the 2 week in home trial period. Keep it for two weeks and if you decide you hate it they will take it back to the store and offer you store credit to replace the item. This really eased my worry about spending 2K on a sofa I may not like as much in person. I can't wait until it arrives! They also have home decor items here, like pillows and lamps. Its a super fun place to just look around and get inspiration, or fall in love with a custom fox lamp which would totally look amazing on your nightstand. Or maybe that fun mounted anatomical model of a heart on your desk. Or maybe that chair with acrylic arms. You get the idea... Inventory is changing constantly, so visit often. See you there!

I wasn't sure if I could afford it so I had her price out a chair for me it was $1100 but they had a 20% off sale so it would be $880. I'm new to furniture shopshopping so I went to another store later (La-Z-Boy) and it was comparable to that. I walked in at 20 minutes to closing on a Sunday night, but Billie didn't seem rushed at all. I was the one saying "let's just wrap this up. Can you give me something to look at online?" And she gave me two websites she thought I would like based on our conversations and looking at what they have to offer. I will see where our furniture shopping journey takes me but I plan to be back!
