It's an IKEA. You know what to expect when you come here. Lots of products to look at, food to enjoy, and definitely a place to get your daily steps in. Wish we had one closer to Cleveland, but pilgrimages to IKEA are always fun!

Ikea even has a tornado shelter... Who knew?

I came here to find an inexpensive small table that would be sturdy enough to place a small refrigerator upon it... and that is exactly what I found. However, I had no idea where it might be located. See this item was right at the entrance by the escalator. So I went up the escalator and roamed about. Soon I found this amazing sales associate. She ran back and got the information to where to grab one in the warehouse. There just happened to be a dolly so getting it from the aisle to the checkout was easy. Cash register associate was friendly. All around it was a great trip in!

IKEA is an exhausting expedition I so appreciate the cafeteria tho!! We don't have one in our town.

Our hotel was across the street from IKEA and I was excited to end our evening there. On a Monday night, crowds were not an issue on the showroom or marketplace. Even though you can jump into the marketplace area I prefer to walk the showroom and take pictures of items that catch my eye. I hadn't been to an IKEA in awhile (nothing in Louisville). During this visit I was underwhelmed. Items felt too similar to what I'd seen a few years ago and I didn't feel any urgency to buy while I was in town. I also struggled to find artwork I enjoyed in the showroom and left without those as well. I miss my physical print catalog and being able to shop ideas in advance of IKEA visits. I'll travel back through this area for work and will be back. Their later hours in the store and cafeteria make late day roaming possible.

I love the food options here. They cater to different dietary requirements. Their plant based hot dog and chicken nuggets are so close in taste and texture to the real meat. I enjoyed the food here.

Excellent location for Ikea in Central Ohio. Need high fashion medium quality furniture and accessories.....Ikea is the place.

Pros: Love the way they set up their displays Lots of reasonably priced items Cons: They force you to go through the maze of the store - no short cuts It's IKEA so be prepared to put your furniture together with a single Allen wrench and have multiple nuts and screws leftover afterwards Pro tip: Don't leave without stopping for lunch at their cafe or grab a hot dog on your way out. Their food is pretty good!

Like walking through a dream home We have taking multiple trips to ikea usually with a goal in kind of what we want to purchase. On the way back from a trip we decided to stop in to get lunch and shop around. The upstairs still had all the great showrooms that let you dream about designing your own house. I'm am assuming because of Covid and supply issues they had a lot of items out of stock or unavailable. And not as large of selection in certain areas. Also prices have increased since first coming here. The prices used to be super low and now they are mostly average. They do have a lot of versatile items. We decided to eat lunch too since we started to get hungry. We had to wait over a half hour in line just to order food. The have the option to open up both sides of the line but only one was and the line was longer when I left it so I would imagine that some people waiting even longer. So plan ahead if you want to eat lunch there.

Simply epic. Perhaps I'm too used to the crowds and conditions of the Southern California outposts but we had a great experience spending 2 hours at the Columbus location. At least on a Wednesday afternoon, the store was clean, bright, and not overly crowded. They were servicing the escalators but using the elevator wasn't a big deal. They were also working on setting up some new displays -- cool to see the behind the scenes. My sister pointed out it was humanizing to see the employees encountering challenges with some furniture assembly too haha. From there, it was everything you come to know and love about IKEA: stylish products for basically anything you need in your home at reasonable prices. Yes, you'll encounter some universal challenges at any location such as difficulty locating items or discovering what you wanted was out of stock. While this can be frustrating, I've learned to take the good with the bad. I mean, where else will you find this type of scale, variety, and pricing? Lastly: the famous cafeteria and food options. We were still stuffed from brunch but did a lap through the cafe. Gorgeous views, great spacing, and selection. Very nice and definitely worth checking out for all your furniture, home good, and Swedish food needs :)

What types of food are available at the food court?

Just basic foods like fish, chicken. Nothing to brag about but not expensive either. Around $10-15 a person. I hoped for some European food but it's more basic American. Again nothing to brag about. Very clean.… Read more

Hi, are there handicap scooters available? If not, why? Thanks.

I had the same question. They have many wheelchairs that you can sign out(clipboard)next to the child drop off(clipboard). No fee. Scooters cause a lot of maintenance costs. You are permitted to bring in personal scooters. Saw those also. 90% of all… Read more

She pointed out that the display table was the only one remaining. As I noticed a huge scratch crossed it I ask if there was a discount due to it being damaged. She informed me I needed to load the dining room table up, and take it to the front desk to ask them?!?! Are we serious? Therefore thanked her for her time and just walked away. Then through the huge store I encountered several other employees completely ignoring me, there was zero eye contact, or even a grin. Seems that the employees there are extremely miserable. What's up for the gentleman at the register which was very cheery, however, he didn't wrap my breakables OR offer me a bag for my items??? Oh, and the restrooms!!!! I noticed a large drip of menstrual blood right in front of the toilet.... And while washing my hands, I looked at the filth splattered up and down the walls, the baseboards were completely coated in filth! Just absolutely disgusting. Walmart's bathrooms were even cleaner than this. lol I recall years back visiting the Hilliard location when it first opened and they seemed to have higher quality items than they do now. Most everything in the store is cheap. China made junk at an elevated price. I'm sticking with HomeGoods, Marshalls, and TJ Maxx. And lastly, the parking lot.... I almost didn't even go into the store because they had several large shopping carts being swept around the parking lot with the high winds. Nobody wants their cars damaged. Bottom line, rude, unhelpful employees, high prices for low quality items, filthy disgusting restrooms.

I totally forgot how much stuff was in here! For starters, masks are obviously required. They don't really have aisle directions or any signage reminding patrons to social distance. The good thing was that most were doing that anyways. Prices here are okay but nothing to get excited about. Some things can be marked down but most things I found I caught myself saying I can find this at TJ Maxx for cheaper. I did really like the home organizing section and found a few things I needed priced well. Everything is pretty organized, which is a plus. The bathrooms were also really clean. The only big bummer was the line the cash out took longer than the shopping itself. Pro tip - Check Google for busy times and try to avoid them.
