Shopping in Renton, Washington... I was on my way to Ross when I saw a super big sign for IKEA... I had to take a look. IKEA is a fun store full of furniture, linens, lamps, dishes, decorations, kitchen gadgets, tote bags, beds, plushies, and more! I enjoy looking at the creative ways that the merchandise is placed together! I was going to get a bath mat for my niece's apartment, but IKEA had one in her bathroom's color! There were colander, hangers, and panda plushies on sale... Gosh, the prices were so reasonable! I had to get them for her! Then, I heard an announcement on the PA system. The first 40 customers in line with an IKEA account would get a gift card worth $5 to $500... I rushed to pay and went outside by the balloons. I think I was about the 30th person in line! My gift card was worth $10. Thank you! I'll be back tomorrow to win again! Maybe I'll dine in the cafeteria... Happy 40th Anniversary, IKEA!

There is truly something special about IKEA. It's affordable, accessible, large, and crazy good. Such great deals and no matter what budget - you can find something. I wasn't looking for anything in particular and really enjoyed myself. From seeing different designs for rooms to seeing their special finds such as berry jam! I had so much fun. The people are friendly and available to help. The selection is vast and it is nice to go even though so big, the way they have it set up where you just follow the signs, you will go through it all. Look forward to coming again!!! PS they have a clearance and gently used area. I don't recall this before but it was great to see what items they had at a discount!

3.5 stars I've never been to an Ikea before, so I decided to stop in. Huge displays of furniture and everything else you need from paintings, stuffed animals, and candles. Prices weren't bad either. They sell frozen food, have a quick cafe with pizza and frozen yogurt, and a restaurant. I grabbed some dinner at the restaurant- $5.50 for a kid's meal that included 4 of the Swedish meatballs with gravy, lingonberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and mac n cheese and tried the pear soda. Most of the food was kind of bland and could've been a little warmer. They were out of a lot of the desserts, but wasn't that busy otherwise. 2025 #5

super duper big ikea, but they usually are like that lol. Did not do much shopping here with furniture as we all just came here for the cafeteria food. Had enough of a selection with sweet and savory foods, but was thankful that the Swedish meatballs were available. Nothing that matched to actual meatballs from Sweden, especially because no lingonberry :( the one that surprised me with how good it was: the selections of juice! Unlike any other flavors that I see in restaurants, shops, etc. definitely a must-try. Peas were very weak and tasteless, so not a good side with the Swedish meatballs. sauce was okay... at least they had a lot of tables and booths available. Nice and clean because customers knew to clean after themselves, but janitors ensured that the ground was squeaky clean! the servers of the food were competent at their job, so the long line dissipated pretty quick. I like that there is a big window that overlooks the parking lot of IKEA because we went during wintertime when it was snowing. Such a neat sight! meal was not that expensive, so worth trying at least for the first time

The kiddos love the stuffed animal section

Very difficult finding employees to assist you with finding products in-store. Turns a 20min trip to a 45min-1hr trip trying to navigate this labyrinth of a hangar. The redemption comes from the children's section, my kids enjoy picking out stuffed pets while I take deep breaths and try to remember which direction we came from and where to go next

This is the price tag of the exact item we bought, showing that it should be 37.99 and not 64.99.
    James S.

If shopping at Ikea be aware of potentially misrepresented and misleading pricing. As we were shopping, we picked up a set of sheets and took a pic of the tag showing the discounted price. We had to be Ikea Family member to get that price so signed up online and scanned card and items. Sheets rang up at full price. We were in self-check so had an employee come help. I showed her the pic. She looked on website and said it is not onsale. I said it is shown with this lower price right now in your store, I just took that picture. She left to look into it and came back a few minutes later stating the department staff member she called said it is not on sale, it is full price. Did they change the tag then??? If this in an honest mistake they will change the displayed price. If this is a systemic pattern of bait and switch.....buyer beware and shop elsewhere!

As of today with mask mandates most likely not. Nobody has asked to see any vaccination records since the mask mandate has been lifted.

Is there still a line outside of the store only allowing x amount of people at a time?

Yes - Depending on the day and how busy it is. Typically on the weekends there's a line and on the weekdays I just walk in.

Is the kids play area open now?

The kids play area is still closed (recently visited Saturday, Oct 17)

Is there a wait/line for pickup or is same as the line to get in and walk the store/see displays?

It should be curbside pickup. There are signs that tell you where to go. And then a number to text. They bring it out pretty quickly!

    Do they serve breakfast?

Yes they do! Its a great deal. You can get the Swedish breakfast for like 2 or 3 bucks

We were doing a full renovation of our home, including a full kitchen remodel. We decided to use Quartzite and understood there would be a number of challenges ahead, including very tight budget and time constraints. We had several contractors working simultaneously, and inevitably hit budget overruns and time delays. We interviewed and worked with several other major countertop vendors, and not only did their customer service leave much to be desired, but our selected vendor fell through at the last minute because they oversold their material. When we reached out to Evergreen, from the start everything was different. We were dealing directly with the owner, who supported us through the whole process, from slab selection to fitting, installation and everything in between. The quote was highly competitive and market-aware, payment was very straight forward and, though we had minor unforeseen issues, they were completely and masterfully handled. Even after the installation was done, we needed help with an issue that was totally outside his responsibility. In the end, we came out ahead of our remodel schedule, within budget, and with a fantastic kitchen. Truly, cannot recommend it further!

Krafter's COULD-NOT accommodate a cabinet that would fill this whole area. They wanted me to accept a cabinet that would only fill part of this space. Hmmmm! Aren't blind corners a standard? And they don't accommodate? The planner's ambition seemed to desire to fill my walls with cabinets... it did not matter if the lower cabinets were aligned with the upper cabinets... did not matter. TASK: Remove existing backsplash and countertop and install a new backsplash and countertop…read more PROBLEM 1: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE COUNTERTOPS. Nothing was covered. All contents of the drawers were contaminated by demolition materials. In addition, during the demolition, the underlayment of the countertops was damaged. As stated in the contract, this was not to be addressed by Granite and Marble Specialists (GMS). Once the island countertop was removed, you could see that a heavy layer of glue remained on the underlay. The installers said that that was not their responsibility. They installed the countertop over the uneven underlayment of the residual glue. This meant that there were up to 1/2 inch gaps between the counter and the underlayment, stretching a span of 108.5 inches. Over time, this will lead to instability and breakage of the stone. The installers forged ahead and installed the new countertop independent of the gaps. The installers were adamant that they had installed the island countertop to level. RESULT: We had to remove the new countertop and have the surface sanded to level before having them reinstall the countertop. PROBLEM 2: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE BLACKSPLASH AFTER DEMOLITION. This meant that it was the homeowner's responsibility to install drywall and to make sure that the backsplash was level. The backsplash was 1.5 inches unlevel from one end of the backsplash to the other. Thus, in addition to the provision of drywall because the existing drywall was damaged during demolition, we had to shim the drywall to ensure the backsplash was level for the backsplash installation. RESULT: We had to go buy wood, cut it to the specific dimensions and install the new underlayment for the backsplash. IN SUM: GMS provided what the contract stated, an installed countertop and backsplash. It was not stated in the contract that it be level or that it be level to the degree that it was level prior to the new installation. The installers showed it to be level because the countertop was 108.5 inches long X 46 inches wide X 3cm deep. So, BEWARE. If this is the type of installation you are looking for, this is the organization for you.
