HOMEGOODS @ BELLEVUE This HomeGoods is right next to Trader Joe's, it can get pretty busy especially finding parking on the weekends, so be aware! The selection was great, they had all sorts of things from home decor, kitchen, bedding, really anything, all was good and decent pricing. I found a great deal of a set of knives for just $26, and it was a steal! Some things were even locked up which was surprising, like literally blankets or bed sheets were needed for assistance. The place itself was MESSY. There was boxes on the ground that workers were unloading (i'd assume they unload after people leave/before the store opens) but no they were doing it right in the middle of a section, pretty inconvenient and messy. There were also random carts full of stuff from workers that were left abandoned and took SO much space. Home goods is already small and squished, no need for random carts to be in the middle of things. Overall, the place still had good finds, there was a lot of people on a Saturday, so i'd recommend coming by on a weekday. read more

Three stars for the crowded aisles. Like for real. Very narrow and claustrophobic. I know. I know. It's HomeGoods. They sell a ton of stuff! Basically a sort of fancy thrift store. There are good deals to be had here for sure. And the service was excellent. I had a gift certificate so here I am. I'm focused and looking particular items. This HomeGoods is located in a big box shopping complex near Downtown Bellevue which also includes a Trader Joe's and REI. Not a fan of the parking lot, so I try to avoid coming here at busy times. The store has a nice assortment of home furnishings and supplies. I would compare it to the selection of Ross, except that it is more orderly and the quality seems a bit better. I was looking for an indoor doormat and found the offerings to be okay but not great. The pricing was a bit higher than I wanted to pay, but I ended up finding a mat that I liked, which met my needs. While HomeGoods is not my go-to place for home goods, I would consider shopping there again if they had a certain item that I wanted. read more

I love the Homegoods store because of their wonderful merchandise, but, today, I was very disappointed in their customer service. I tried to return/exchange for store credit, an item that was defective. It was a cute soap dispenser, the type with a pump. It was defective in that the metal pump was on top of a metal "lid" type cover. With the metal right on top of metal, it would get rusty. I would wash it down 3 times a week but the rust on this item was constantly present and I wanted to return it. But - - not only the sales clerk, but also the weekend manager, told me it was not a defect but my lack of "cleaning" or "maintainence". Having been an excellent and constant customer for many years, I felt their response was very unsatisfactory and intend to shop at the HomeGoods in Woodinville. read more

Never been to this particular Home Goods, but I liked that it was located right next to a Trader Joe's and one floor below an REI, so that's the trifecta. This location is pretty good, but they really have a lack of doggie clothes, which is always what I check for at Home Goods. They probably had only a dozen doggie suits and that's nothing compared to what other locations had. What they had a ton of were step stools- both the plastic foldable ones and the fancier wooden ones. So if step stools are your jam, this is the Home Goods location for you, I guess. read more

I had the worst experience here and in Seattle the management horrible in both stores. I tried to purchase a red Christmas tree in Seattle. They marked it down to $44. I drove all the way to Bellevue to get the same tree and they wouldn't honor that price. They were rude about it and the Seattle Seattle said they were holding it for someone at 4 o'clock. I was there at 4 o'clock, I was there at 401. The manager said somebody was in the store to buy it and he wouldn't sell it to me at then I drove all the way to Bellevue and they wouldn't honor the price horrible management. HomeGoods shares the same parent company of TJX as Marshall's and TJMaxx. This is handy to know as gift cards can be used across these 3 chains of stores. This HomeGoods is in a 2-stories mini-mall with REI and Trader Joe's. There are plenty of parking; the only tricky thing to learn is some of the exits are right turn only. Not a big deal. As the name implies, HomeGoods have home related goods. (Haha) They have daily use items - kitchen, bath, deco including wall art (want a Van Gogh knockoff?), area rugs, etc. They also have seasonal items - Halloween, Christmas, and the like. My favorite is their food department where there are international sourced items, especially Italian pastas, sauces, and olive oil. I don't come regularly just to wander because I'm afraid of what extra things I might bring home, usually from the food department. When I come looking for something straightforward, it's a very good chance that I'll find what I need/what. The most recent being kitchen hand towels (+ Italian chocolates and Italian pastas, yikes). Anyway, I definitely recommend trying a place like HomeGoods before going to full price retailers. Side note: According to a staff member, many of their older employees decided to retire instead of dealing with the unruly public due to COVID regulations. On a weekday, the store is thinly staffed until the part time high schoolers arrive to start their shift at 5pm. Expect a wait at the registers if you go before 5pm. And please be kind. read more

I'm still shocked from how I was treated at the Bellevue store last night. I'm an interior designer who spends at least 10,000 per year at HomeGoods. I just finished styling my latest design project and had 4 items to return, that were purchased at various HG locations. I had all the receipts and it was within the 30 day return policy. One of a items was a rug. One employee told me that they would need to look at the rug to make sure there was no damage. That seemed reasonable, but her tone make me little uncomfortable. Moments later another clerk came to the register and told me that she would not return it because there were stains on it. I told her that the rug had not been unrolled since I purchased it, and that it must have been stained when I purchased it. Frankly, it is hard to tell if a rug has a stain when it is hanging 10 feet in the air on their racks. I explained that I was a designer who does a lot of business with them and had no reason to lie about the condition of the rug. I asked if I could see what "stains" she was talking about. I walked over to the front of the store where she had it unrolled and had 3 other employees standing there examining the rug. The rug is a 100% wool rug with a gray and cream pattern, it did look like there was a few barely noticeable spots, that would have been impossible for me to see while it was hanging on the rack. I told her again that the rug had been rolled up in my house. It was my back up rug in case I didn't find the jute chenille rug that I landed up finding and using instead. She said well, I'm not returning it and taking a loss on it. I felt like a criminal! I had never been treated like I was a liar or trying to return something that I had damaged. I told her, that she would take a loss because I would never shop at the Bellevue HomeGoods again! Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe Covid is wearing on her, they were slammed, but last time I I checked, customers should not be treated like criminals. And if they are having issues with people using rugs, staining them and trying to return them, they need to come up with a better way to ensure that doesn't happen. read more

Always such a pleasure, Let's get into this Over the weekend we stepped in to pick up some goods for our apartment, although we did not find what we were looking for today they always have lots of great things here. The staff is very helpful The place is clean and organized They usually have some goods you can't find anywhere else There is something for everyone. They had some items here I would have love to have gotten but were not needed so we did not make a purchase today however don't let that stop you from coming to take a look. I do strongly recommend this place for what ever you may want. I'm surprised at some of the low ratings for this location as well as the content of the reviews. Not sure if most people realize that the merchandise that is at home goods, marshals, and TJ Maxx can be factory rejects or old stock that was not sold at regular retail. It's a discount store, people - expect some imperfections in the merchandise. You are not paying full retail. Anyways, end of rant. This location is a lot better organized compared to the Fed Way store. There's also a lot more selection (probably due to the higher median income of the area). I was greeted by quite a number of smiles from the employees and checkout was fast and easy. Plenty of parking. It's a little funky to get to because it's in the same complex as REI and Trader Joe's. read more

I don't know what the hell people expect coming to a discounted store, it's like only willing to pay for Top Ramen price, but expecting to get and eat actual ramen quality with pork belly chashu. I have purchased four lamps from HomeGoods and highly dissatisfied with the quality. They all have broken within 3 months and they refuse to exchange or return them. Apparently, very cheap quality. They only have a 30 day exchange/return policy and they brake after that. Bad service! Will never purchase another lamp from them. read more

Had a very unfortunate experience at this location on October 22nd, around 5pm. My wallet was stolen out of my purse, which isn't necessarily the fault of the store - but the way staff spoke to me and handled this incident was quite frankly, shocking. There was no sympathy or kindness, and no willingness to render any help. They acted completely helpless and basically told me that it's my fault and to take care of it myself (calling police, etc). I love how they have a ton of different items when comparing to the Issaquah store. The store is really organized and they're constantly changing the displays to inspire those impulse shoppers (GUILTY) to buy things they don't really need but can't leave the store without ( GUILTY X10). This was an average Home Goods. I came here with the specific purpose of looking for a microplane for the Kitchen. After some searching I was able to find a few of them and grabbed one. As I searched, I thought that I could use a knife as well. The only problem was they only had a couple of them and they were junk. What did I learn today? I was excited when I heard a HomeGoods was opening in Bellevue because I'm a huge fan of the store! Seriously, there's so much random home decor at this place that you may not necessarily need, but want and end up buying because everything is so reasonably priced. I've been to the Bellevue location a few times and during its first few weeks and months I gave it some time before reviewing since the only flaw I saw here was the limited stock. I figured that since its a new location they'll get more stock and replenish the shelves. But, after visiting again and again I've learned that they just seem to not get as much stuff as other locations. Although I still find cute stuff here at cheap prices I can't help but wish they had more stock. In fact, when I've gone to other locations the shelves are so packed that they seem to be overflowing with items and have duplicates of. But here at this Bellevue location - there are tons of empty shelves and if you see something you like -- get it then because chances are it will be gone, especially since most of the items don't have duplicates. In my most recent visit I wanted to see if they had any Keurig pods because they're always discounted here and it was the first time where I had been to a HomeGoods and there was absolutely no pods or bags of coffee at all. The best part of this place is the staff. They are very, very friendly and allow me to bring my dog inside! Whenever I do, no matter who is working they always come up and say hi to my dog and make conversation. Also, the staff seems to always roam the store, picking up after items and organizing, which I've noticed isn't always the case at other locations. The store is generally pretty clean and have noticed that they change the placement of certain items in different sections and shelves often. There are bathrooms located towards the back of the store and are usually generally clean. Parking is easy, since there's a private lot which shares with the other stores in that shopping centre. I recommend coming here for small gifts and seasonal items like holiday decor. read more

4/5 time I go to HomeGoods I will walk out with double the number of things I actually came in for. If only I weren't trying to 'minimalize' my home decor, I would buy so much more! I usually go to HomeSense for kitchen goods (Tupperware, Glasses, Utensils). Their prices are quite good for quality items that would cost much more at other retailers. I also like taking a look through the kids toys area; there are a lot of goodies there that you wouldn't find anywhere else! I found a kid-size "giant" Jenga set for $25, where online it costs over $75. Parking can be a bit of a mess on weekends as they share the lot with Trader Joe's. read more

I was stoked when I heard that Downtown Bellevue was opening one up one of my favorite stores! Parking is easy and plentiful (two floors) but getting into the lots is a tad difficult if you're coming up on the right. It has a barrier, so you can't take a left turn into the lots. You would have to do a uturn up ahead. The store is very clean, bright, and organized (some HomeGoods are super cluttered with everything misplaced), but it's smaller than I thought it would be. I finished walking through all of the aisles within 20 minutes. Most of the chests/drawers/tables sported chipped paint or black smudges if it was a white piece. Kind of a bummer since they looked great from a distance. As with every other HomeGoods, they definitely have good price cuts. If you're looking for bathroom accessories, lamps, canvas art, or mirrors, this is the place to go. But some of the items you can find online at a cheaper price. Today was my first time at HomeGoods and I found so many great items that I didn't even know I needed. They have so many options for decorating your home. I wish they had a bigger selection for children's furniture. My only complain is that a lot of the furniture was chipped or cracked but still was 200 dollars and over. I just set up my Airbnb and bought most of the decor from the Bellevue and Federal Way location. I didn't realized these stores existed until I accidentally stumbled into one. Prices are amazing and they have unique pieces that look high end at a fraction of the price. If you have a designer's eye like I do, you can score big time with HomeGoods. My Airbnb reviews gets 5 stars for high style. You can't always shop online for decor and half of the time, the item received doesn't look like the item advertised online. Then there is the annoying task of returning it. At least with HomeGoods, I can touch and see exactly what I'm getting before I purchase. They always change up the merchandise so it's like treasure hunting as well. It can get addictive. Interior designing is constantly changing and HomeGoods definitely satisfies those design needs. This took place at the home goods Bellevue Wa location .If this could be a Zero star rating I would choose that. I found some nesting wire baskets 2 largest ones were stuck together I found an employee and she pulled them apart tearing off the price tag of the one I wanted so she put the tag in the bottom of the basket and said just make sure the cashier sees it. So I told the cashier Sylvia that the tag had been ripped off when your employee pulled them apart and she starts overtalking me. There is noway this basket is 9.99 she was so rude punching and scanning that little tag telling me it's the wrong tag and do you still want it? Then she sends another lady to retrieve the other basket that I did not choose and guess What? Tag attached 9.99. Do you think Sylvia calmed down with her nasty heifer attitude towards me? She was a pathetic cashier. I took my purchases and put them in the car and returned to the store to speak with a manager. He apologized and another employee came out to let him know she caught the tail end of my transaction and after I left she told Sylvia she should never treat a customer like that.I don't know what's going on with Sylvia but she picked the wrong one today. The store content is as one would expect. Lots of ways to creatively decorate a home. My biggest complaint is about the obnoxious music. I could not hear myself think. A store that is intended to inspire creative and beautiful solutions for the home should include music that allows your mind to wander and be inspired. Loud pop music with yelling vocalists-one after another after another-- I was glad to get out of there. I went in with the intent to purchase, walked out empty handed and annoyed. I am not old. I hope someone reads this and has the clout to change the music. Make it a mix of classical, Putumayo, jazz, Sarah Mclachlan, Enya--I don't care. Just get rid of the yelling.
