    Bruschetta mix

What an amazing little hidden gem! The staff is amazing and super friendly! Language was not a barrier! Everything I ate here was delicious! The bruschetta mix was the perfect start. The spaghetti with seafood so good! The mixed grilled meat plate was also delicious! My favorite was the tiramisu!! It was the perfect ending to a great dinner. It's a cute cozy place! I felt like I was going to my tios house to eat

This was our first time here it was recommended by the gentleman of the hotel.it was not a far walk the hotel had already called for us and they were expecting us. The food was just amazing very delicious and filled with flavors my other people I was with both had the cabenara and they said it was good and delicious. The waiter was very nice. They do have an English menu if you need one. Overall it was a great experience.

A wonderful Italian restaurant suggested by our hotel. Excellent and attentive service for our party of 13! Perfectly prepared bruschetta, caprese, and warm foccacia kicked off the appetizer portion of our dinner. Spaghetti, truffle spinach ravioli (see picture), gnocchi, and mouth watering pizzas graced our table. I also enjoyed the potato fried sea bream which was AMAZING!! All were quite impressed and satisfied with the Italian feast. I topped my dinner off with a classic Tiramisu which was a perfect finale to a wonderful evening.

Friendly staff-outdoor seating. Ravioli was good- cheesecake was literally the best I have ever had.

If you are in Rome and you don't come here. You made a huge mistake. The carbonara is one of the best things I've had in Italy. The service was fantastic. It's beautiful inside. But the food is out of this world!

Such amazing food. Great decor. Staff is so polite. Tiramisu is insane. Not to mention, the prices are so reasonable. 10/10 recommend

Although the tortellini was delicious, the service was terrible. The place was nearly empty with only three other tables when I sat down yet it took forever for them to acknowledge me and take my order. I asked for tap water in Italian and English (free) but they brought me bottled water instead. Most reputable restaurants will tell you first they only offer bottled water and confirm this is what you want . This place just brought it and charged me for it . Once my tortellini arrived I ordered a slice of bruschetta al pomodoro. After 15 minutes I reminded the waiter and it was clear the waiter forgot . He brought it out in about 5 minutes . The bread was burnt. In their menu they advertise a free shuttle . The offer states , "free shuttle for all customers." There is no fine print . My Airbnb was only a five minute car ride but 17 minute walk through a sketchy area so I requested the shuttle . I showed the waiter the address and after he spoke with the owner I was told my destination didn't qualify. As I exited the owner was outside and I expressed to him the misrepresentation in the offer . He had some excuse but I firmly told him he was full of it . After the conversation he agreed to offer the shuttle. Overall, it seemed clear there was a lack of respect for non Italians . I watched two tables of Italians arrive and receive multiple courses of food before my one primi arrived . The owner and wait staff checked on those tables and clearly gave them preferential treatment . I got the impression they felt as if they were doing me a favor by just allowing me to be there lol . Also very weird , the restaurant was full of pictures of the owner . The owner was in every single picture - some by himself and some with other people .Most of them were clearly taken outside of the restaurant . I'm sure some pics were of celebrities but it just seemed very weird , egotistical and adding zero benefit to the customer's dining experience . Because of all of these reasons I recommend avoiding this restaurant. Directly across the street is La Taverna Italiana . I dined here as well (also reviewed) and the experience was excellent . Go here instead .

Tonnarelli Pasta & Spaghetti with Fresh Tomatoes and Basil

The service was great! I came to Rome with my family for a quick trip and this restaurant was only a 0.5 mile walk from our hotel. We were served immediately and were given recommendations from the staff. I got the Tonnarelli, Spaghetti with Fresh Tomatoes and Basil, along with the Four Cheeses Pizza, and the Fresh Focaccia! It was beyond amazing and so fresh! I highly recommend!

Local restaurant. Near Termini. Open at off hours. Nice place, friendly staff. This was the first restaurant we ate at when we landed in Rome. It was recommended by the hotel concierge and sometimes I am a bit skeptical about their recommendations but it did not disappoint. I ordered Cacio e Pepe. I never had this dish before. In my limited experience with it, I would say it was really good. If I am every around this area again I would pass by.

This restaurant was recommended to me and my friends by our hotel receptionist so we decided to head over. It was only a few streets over, but we must have taken a wrong turn. Apparently, the hotel had called over because a waiter from the restaurant was waiting for us on the next street asking if we were looking for the restaurant. We really appreciated this since we were about to give up looking. The food itself was great! I ordered the Fettucine alla Bolognese and it was very tasty. Great portion size as well. There wasn't a service charge either. The outdoor seating at night was great!

    Carbonara

Good service and well prepared food. The carbonara and calzone were delicious. The lemon chicken breast was a bit bland, but was moist & tender. Lemon sorbet had a lot of flavor. Profiteroles were yummy. Reasonable prices.

By the time we were seated, dozens of people were waiting behind us. We sipped an Aperol spritz and lemonade while we waited, chatting with fellow diners who raved about the restaurant. On a sweltering day, our kids were starting to struggle in the heat when the owner came outside and gave them mini pizzas breads. It was a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel welcome. Once seated, we ordered burrata, cacio e pepe, amatriciana pasta, pork chops, and fried artichokes. Everything was excellent, but the amatriciana was the standout--rich, savory, and unforgettable. The cacio e pepe was silky, the burrata fresh and creamy, the pork chops juicy, and the fried artichokes perfectly crisp. There's a reason people line up for Da Enzo. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere lively, and the hospitality remarkable. Without question, this was our best meal in Rome and one of our most memorable restaurant experiences.

The tomatoes were fresh and juicy but the burrata was a bit thick (referring to the outer aspect). Also the bread was a bit tough. The amatriciana was good, but not worth a 2 hour wait in a line, 7.5/10. Pasta was perfectly al dente, but the sauce wasn't anything to die for. I think you can get a very similar possibly better pasta in Rome without the wait. My girlfriend got the gnocchi pasta, which she said was a 7/10. The gnocchi was great, but again the sauce wasn't anything special Tiramisu, 10/10. This was amazing. It was sweet without being overpowering. The ladyfingers weren't soggy, and had that strong espresso taste. I would come back here just for this dessert. Also if you don't like cramped spaces, probably not the best spot. I could hear the people next to me better than I could hear the person across me haha.

Super pizza place with a lot of other great stuff on the menu…read more I looked with envy at the other tables who were enjoying spectacular plates of spaghetti with mussels. * * * That said, my pizza was a grand slam home run. Many of their pizzas are quite elaborate With all sorts of exotic ingredients. I went super simple. Gorgonzola. Mozzarella. That's it. Just enough Mozzarella to cut the Gorgonzola and make for a good melt. * * * If you have never had a gorgonzola pizza, you have never lived. Just sayin'. * * * P.S. My lovely wife got a Norwegian salmon pizza. The Norwegian salmon was stacked up high on her pizza As if she was in the World Series of Poker and she was a big winner. I have never seen so much salmon on one plate. After our meal, I made a discreet phone call to the Norwegian embassy in Rome asking them if they still had any salmon left. The woman at the embassy assured me the Norwegian salmon supply was fine. That surprises me given all the salmon that was on my wife's pizza.

Being new to Rome, and having walked 20k steps on our first day, there are an abundance of options a for dining. We wanted something classically Rome nearby to our hotel. The Yelp review of this restaurant was sufficiently positive to entice us. Being American, we appreciate the earlier-than-customary dining options. We arrived at 6pm without a reservation. We were seated immediately. The restaurant is intimate and very well staffed. The wood fire oven is front-and-center and the fresh mozzarella is prominent in display. We ordered a bottle of wine ... all options are very fairly priced. This is nice. We started with a Greek salad to share. It was unlike any American Greek salad ... and a really delight. It is early June but the tomatoes and peppers were ripe and crisp and really fresh. My wife ordered the Marguerite pizza; I opted for the Gorgonzola pizza (the effusive review on Yelp was compelling). Both were solid. We appreciate the thin crust and the crisp edged. The center of both, however, was doughy and somewhat undercooked. Looking around ... the restaurant was over 50% full even at this early hour. Most were Americans. We saw a good number of diners with pasta dishes ... and none were left unfinished. Sadly, we don't have any comparisons to weigh (yet). So, I cannot affirm any "best of" citations, it this is certainly a solid trattoria/pizzeria. The staff are attentive and the food served hot and fresh.
