The good: Friendly servers, great lively atmosphere with neon and music and fake orange trees. Food was good, not great.
The bad: we asked a lot of questions about the menu and felt we were totally scammed. We wanted to experience the cheese bowl table side even though I knew it was a totally touristy thing. Server said only one pasta was available in the bowl and it was not on the menu with prices and kept saying close to the others!
Well, the Cacio e Pepe was €13 and we were charged €30! Asked what market price was for the chefs special and again he sluffed it off. €80! Definitely learned our lesson never to order unless it has a published price because the server can basically charge us anything they want. Food was ok. It was not worth €110 in taste. Very disappointed and could have gone to so many other small places off the beaten path and enjoyed frutti de mare for €25.
Disappointing to say the least. read more
