It was beautifully decorated and the front desk staff were so friendly and helpful and she was gorgeous not in intimidating way lol wish I could remember her name. Everyone smiled and said hello as they walked by which eased my nerves. Boris was amazing his hands were so gentle and his conversation was welcoming and I enjoyed our chat very much. My skin was glowing amazingly after. His recommendations for cleanser and moisturizer were on point. Most importantly he wasn't pushy nor salesy. I found Clarins while doing some online research; I'd never been there before and I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience! At first I had trouble figuring out where the facial would actually take place since Clarins is on the main floor of Bloomingdales. But low-and-behold there's a room tucked away near the makeup area that's quiet and peaceful. Danielle was my aesthetician. She was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. All the products she used smelled and felt divine, and I walked away with beautiful looking skin! She made me a Clarins convert, for sure. Hubby wanted me to get a second opinion to compare treatment info and pricing before making the decision to move forward. We went to Studio Esthetique and met with the owner, Vladimir and an RN, Jordan. Both were happy to answer any questions I had and concerns. The facility was very clean. My timing was so good because they were running a 50% off deal for the holidays! The other consult I had gone to was not offering that good of a deal. My husband surprised me and gifted me the cool sculpting treatments at Studio Esthetique. I had a great experience there, I did two sessions which is the recommended amount to start with. Jordan was in charge of me and did a great job making me comfortable and answering any questions during the treatment. We chatted it up and had some laughs! She is lovely! Vladimir made sure to be there my first treatment day to be certain all the applicators were perfectly positioned. There were extra precautions needed because I had an umbilical hernia surgery a few years back. There can be complications if the applicators are not properly positioned around the belly button. The front desk staff were very nice, as well as, accommodating! I mixed up one of my appointment dates and they were super understanding about it. They were still able to see me the same day I missed my appointment time. As for the cool sculpting results, it is still too soon for me to tell how well it is working for me. Two of my friends said they could already see a difference after my first treatment. It can take months to really start seeing an obvious change. I came in this morning (Saturday) for a 10:00 appointment only to find that my manicurist's station and the one next to it was being used to clean and refill products by 3 workers. This was disruptive not only to my experience due to noise but everything had to be moved to another workstation which delayed getting my manicure started. I suggested to the manager that this kind of work be done away from customers and not near the front of the salon. It is unprofessional and disrespectful to the customers. I received an apology.
