I really feel like im in Greece entering the building . The ambiance is amazingly beautiful with ocean front views . The service is outstanding I dropped my AirPod case and they came right away to pick it up for me . The server Arleny was attentive and made me feel taken care of . I wish I could remember the managers name but he was a delight and also made me experience like no other . I love the whole entertainment show that happens around 8pm . They have a fire show , dance and breaking plates !!! The food was delicious I had my filet a little under done but they were happy to fix it and they did right away . I also got to ceviche and it had all the right notes . I booked my reservation on open table

During our last trip to Cancun in 2021 we stumbled upon this delightful restaurant and because of that experience we had to visit again when we were there last week. If you get an opportunity to go to a Ilios while in Cancun, please take full advantage and go. If you would like to see the entertainment show that is provided you will need to make a reservation, at least a month in advance. The ambience is simply beautiful, the customer service is literally unmatched. I have never had such amazing service anywhere else I've gone in all of my travels! The food is freshly prepared, very flavorful, and just worth every single penny! Also, it is off of the water which makes a very beautiful backdrop there or yachts, going up and down the canal throughout the dinner experience, which really provides additional nice views. As I said, if you get an opportunity to go, please take full advantage of it, I guarantee you will not be displeased.

We came on a Monday night and they were slow but they still had a great vibe! I wish we would have came during the weekend when they had their show. They do a plate smashing everyday around 9 pm. It was fun and inclusive! We came for dessert and hookah. Both did not disappoint. We had a few drinks. I didn't think the drinks were anything special.

This was by far our most fave dinner experience we had. Not only do they have the mixologist who comes and handcrafts your drink but the food and the show were impeccable. So much fun. We even got to break plates. I just got back from Greece and this was legit.

Part of one of the main restaurant groups that dominate the region, we were recommended this place by a few folks. Hanging around the hotel zone, you might spot this restaurant on a few bus stop billboard ads. This Greek-themed restaurant really does uphold the Greek theme. The hostesses attire and the decor of the restaurant is very on brand with what they're trying to establish here. As soon as you walk down the steps, you're transported into a different world. We were lucky enough to come when they had live performers - think Cirque du Soleil performances during your dinner. It's a pretty tight space and it's impressive how more dishes aren't broken. Some of the performances are whatever but it's nice to see when you're enjoying your dinner. For starters, we got the grilled octopus and lamb kebab. The octopus was too salty - not even the lemon could overpower the saltiness of the dish. The lamb presentation was better than it tasted. They take it right off the skewer table-side but the lamb itself was a little on the dry side. For my main, I was looking forward to the lamb rack and I thought it was decent. Once again, the presentation was on point here. The lamb didn't fall off the bone as I imagined but at the end, it was mediocre. We also got a side of greek potatoes and they were huge potato wedges that were super salty. Saltiness seems to be a common trend here... Ilios is a unique attempt at Greek cuisine in the middle of the hotel zone. It's a beautiful restaurant with amazing decor and interesting live entertainment. Just don't have your hopes too high with the food itself.

So glad we came to visit - as this place came up in my searches for which restaurants to book in Cancun. I did not expect the atmosphere to be this fancy. The interior, the candles, the seating, water front view, everything looked beautiful. We were immediately seated thanks to our reservation. The service was incredible, someone holds your chair for you and you're brought a small stand to hold your purse. Around the time we were seated, an unexpected show started with dancers (I did not anticipate this happening). So it was very cool and felt fancy. As the night proceeded, the music got louder, and more dancing, and there was a sparkling show as it was time to break plates (also a cool first experience). The place did have families, but you're better off booking for a earlier dinner, considering how loud it got if with kids. Coming to the food - the items we ordered were great, but nothing spectacular. The price is still worth it though for all that you get in the ambiance, service, and show. The spanakopita was the best, followed by the Greek salad. Although I enjoy the feta sauce with the cauliflower, I wish they cooked it out more because it was a little hard. The manager came to check in our table to see how we were doing, and the waiters/servers were super attentive to our needs. Overall - note the food isn't super spectacular, but I would still recommend coming here still for the full experience the restaurant provides. It was definitely a memorable visit.

I CANT WAIT TO TO BACK!!!!! My husband and I visited Ilios a few weeks ago during our honeymoon in Cancun. We had seen several billboards advertising it, and after checking it out on Yelp but seeing there weren't many reviews, we decided to give it a shot. First of all, the ambiance is amazing. We've had our fair share of cool restaurants, living in Vegas, and this place exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful restaurant, and the vibe is awesome. The employees there are all beautiful, and the service was great. Such a fun time, listening to the great music the dj played, and the dancers were fun to watch! All of the food was delicious!! We had the hummus, olives, Greek salad, lamb, and octopus. I still dream about the food there, it was that incredible. It was SO good that we went back the next night to ring in my husband's birthday. We had already ate dinner (unfortunately), so we only had drinks, which again, were delicious. We also had the hookah and were pleased with the variety of flavors they offered. Our server was great and surprised my husband with a cake just a few minutes past midnight. I can't wait to go back - I've told all of my friends about this place. Definitely one of my favorites ever.

I've been to many of the other restaurants owned by RosaNegra restaurant group, but this one has to be my favorite. I'm middle eastern so greek food is close to home. Their gyro sandwich and branzino fish were the best thing we had that night, and possibly the entire trip. I would avoid the hummus as it did not taste authentic to me and had a very strong taste of a spice or herb that didn't taste like it belonged there. As for the entertainment, they had beautiful belly dancers, they started the plate breaking tradition in which the whole restaurant participated in and the music was the best! The DJ knows how to read his crowd and played mostly middle eastern music which me and my family appreciated! The food was great, the menu is not as big as the other restaurants', the drinks were good tasting but also very weak. As for the entertainment we loved every bit of it. Our only complaint was the service we received. The service was very slow that night despite the restaurant not being full like all the other restaurants we visited in Cancun. We had to ask for a to go box 5 times before we got one and the bill took us asking 7 times and waiting 40 minutes just to finally cash out.

I'm still trying to process what my girlfriend and I experienced. All I wanted was some quality babaganoush while in Cancun. We saw the restaurant had good reviews so we decided to try it. On entering, the hostesses are dressed in chic white outfits. I felt like I was walking into a top tier club. The decor is out of this world. So freaking cool. The food was delicious...especially the lamb, octopus and babaganoush. We thought it would end there. We were wrong! At 8 pm chiseled men and women came out and did this theatrical acrobatic show. It was like Cirque du Soleil. Then at 8:30 pm, smiling, beautiful belly dancers circulated around the restaurant. We enjoyed outstanding cheesecake and puffed on hookah. Then at 10 pm, all in attendance participated in a fun, ceramic plate breaking experience. Next thing we know, the waiters come to a table behind ours carrying individual letters that spell MARRY ME...yep, you guessed it, a couple got engaged. Then the staff passed out fire blasting sparklers as everyone danced. Bear in mind, this was a Monday night! I should also add the staff was TOP NOTCH. So nice, attentive, kind and facilitators of fun. Our waiters, Abisai and Cinco, were terrific! The DJ played fantastic music, song after song...there were large KISS style flame throwers along the backdrop of the ocean view. Like I said, all I wanted was babaganoush...what I got was by far the most fun and memorable restaurant experience ever! Go to ILIOS...request being seated in the area close to the DJ's table.

My Greek friend and I went, and she said it reminded her so much of being back in Greece! So I would say that's a win! The crab cake appetizer will large and delicious! The lamb chops were just ok, my friend said she has had better, definitely needed more seasoning. The drinks were light, different yet good. The BEST part was the service! I can see why they have a 5 star hospitality rating! Hands down best service they anticipated our needs before we did! Nice experience, which is why I rated them a 4 solely because of the service and

The service and the decor and setting was absolutely top notch. I do want to start with that. But for the price, even relative to the expensive area, I just think some of the food missed a little too hard. The rack of lamb, a statement protein entree, should not have been so extremely tough and difficult to cut and chew. There was silver skin still on the lamb, sign of a poor trim job. The drinks were quite small but tasty, the price was a bit prohibitive. The appetizers were tasty but barely enough to share for two. The performance was fun! The fire show. And the decor during sunset was absolutely unmatched. A restaurant floating above the water. I just wouldn't see myself coming back here but as a one time experience it was one to remember for the incredible service team and attention to the customers. But the food just has to be at least one notch if not two higher to justify and match the level of all the other features of the restaurant.
