This is the sign that hangs from the storefront of the restaurant.

Absolutely the best Greek food I've ever had, and I live in NY, I've been to Greece. We checked it out because it was across the street from the resort, and we heard the live entertainment. The service was great, fast and friendly. The owner keeps a close watch on everything, he seems strictly business with his serious face, but when you make eye contact the warm welcoming smile comes out. We went back a couple days later and enjoyed the food better than the top shelf restaurant on the resort. I will travel back to Playa Del Carmen again in my lifetime just to eat here again.

This is on the deck of our room (not at Milos)

Had my eye on this spot since it's right outside our resort-Mahekal & looking for some yummy lunch. Wow!!!!! I was blown away by the lemon fish entree with beets and farrow. Love it so much that I'm going to have to go again in one day! It's flaky but oh so tender and flavorful. Lemon zesty, tangy with perfect seasoning. Falafel, Greek meatballs and chicken gyro were also very good! Update: Came back again the next day for the lemon fish and tried the dolmas-these were the best I've had. I'll be dreaming of the food till the next time in PDC.

Wonderful place! Friendly Greek owner. Even a fellow . I had the usual Greek Salad and Lamb chops. It was perfect and hit the spot. Location is right off the beach, great atmosphere, and excellent display of Greek colors. There was a Fantastic Spanish acoustic guitar player which was rock'n and excellent entertainment. Some youngsters even started to dance. It was really a fun no pressure evening there. I will definitely return.

Seriously the best Greek food I have ever had. The falafel is so large and fluffy. The Greek salad is amazing.

This held true at El Mediterraneo as well. The best bite of the entire trip, my husband and I both agree, was the lamb shawarma. I should have ordered 100 of those and just eaten them all as my main course. I also IMMENSELY enjoyed the beef carpaccio. The chicken cordon bleu was straight up WEIRD. It had orange cheddar cheese instead of swiss, and was covered in a weird diced tomato concoction. It's definitely not a classic cordon bleu. The shrimp and saffron pasta was pretty boring and reminded me a bit of hospital food. If you stick to a feast of appetizers you will probably be in for a treat!

Not as big as the one at Spice but it had a decent selection. They have an omelet area where you can select your items to put in it. They have a small selection of fresh fruit, meats and cheeses. Most of the food was traditional Mexican items. So if you're looking for bacon and eggs, you'll have to ask for it. The restaurant overlooks a small pool area. It almost looks like a Vegas pool/hotel just without all the craziness. It's definitely the calmer side of the resort. Overall this was a nice little restaurant with good food. I would go again if staying at the resort.

We arrived late afternoon and we were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. A nice solid menu of Italian/Mediterranean treats plus monthly specials posted on the exterior board. Full bar service, and plenty of Spanish wines offered. Prices are very reasonable and repeat that the service is excellent. In business approaching 30 years, this was our first visit and found it through a shout out on Yelp! The business is an American owned venture but very much offerings and atmosphere of a casual Mexican dinner. Some really interesting photographs throughout the restaurant that offer some insights into the island's history, the owners friends, and even her cats! We started with some wonderful empanadas and an octopus dish that was probably one of the best cooked I've had in memory. Great seafood options and daily fish specials. Like most of Central Cozumel, street parking can be a little tricky but not a showstopper. You may be interested in looking for a yard that offers car parking to get off the streets. We definitely will be back and highly recommend you check out this restaurant when in the area
