Great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food! Stopped by while in Charlotte area on business for a lunch meeting. Unassuming location with plenty on parking and easy access. Beautiful decor down to the plates. Lots of menu options. We ordered pitas and salmon salad but wanted to order everything on the menu. Received our food quickly, presentation was on point and flavors were yummy. We already plan to return next time in town. Highly recommended!

Stopped by & grabbed some lunch Togo & it was great! Ilios Noches is a Great local favorite! I would highly recommend!

I've been here only once before and it was definitely a five-star meal and experience. I went again recently and can't explain why, but the flavor of everything we ordered was not the same quality. The service was very kind and the ambiance is always nice and clean, no issues there and actually have a pleasant experience there! I ordered a salmon salad in this picture, and the sandwiches tasted more dry than it should be. I also ordered the saganaki, Aunt also was left wanting a little bit more flavor.

    SILQUE PIE

The drinks (SILQUE PIE &THE FOSTER) were de-DAMN-licious. As well as the Taste Of Spreads and Angry Shrimp. The atmosphere was great for a business date, and hospitality was on point

I've been meaning to check out this place for while now, but for one reason or another, unable to...'til now. Surprisingly, the place looked well lived in (thought it was relatively new?), the place had a very warm and inviting vibe...and I even liked their overhead piano music. Their menu featured an unusual mix of Italian and Greek specialities. For me, at least, the appetizers were especially appealing. We ended up ordering 2 appetizers...Zucchini + Eggplant Chips and Calamari Fritti...and both were really good. Yet, not sure why they had to ruin the presentation by adding a layer of paper sheet to both of these appetizer dishes. Cheapened the look...at least to me! BTW, I really wanted to try their "Taste of Spreads" as well...but that was getting a tad too greedy. Maybe next time? For the entrees, I ordered the Capellini...and my husband got the Garganelli. Surprisingly, the portions were way larger than what I anticipated...but the flavor was a bit underwhelming. My Capellini was a tad better...which wasn't surprising, given its lofty price points. We liked...but didn't love our entrees. From what we ordered, we thought the appetizers were stronger than the entrees. Lastly, I enjoyed their Passion Fruit Mojito mocktail...very sweet and refreshing. Service was VERY attentive...exceedingly so! Our waitress was fine, but there were 2 busboys (male staff, that is) standing nearby, staring at the diners the whole time (did NOT like this!). Maybe it's just me and my pet peeve, but I've never been a fan of the waitstaff standing by too close and/or staring while patrons are trying to eat or have private conversations. I just find it rude and intrusive. Despite some annoying points, I really liked their eclectic menu...and thought it was a good, solid restaurant.

Came here for a special event. I had heard the lamb chops were good and yes, they were fabulous !!! I highly, highly recommend. I also got grape leaves and they were also very good. Several people got various items (see photos) and everyone was extremely pleased with their meal. Service was good, but a bit slow. I think our large group of approximately 14 people overwhelmed them a bit. This is likely some of the best Greek food in Charlotte. The other locations by the same name do not compare. They have outdoor patio seating. Atmosphere is pleasant.

I cannot say enough great things about our girls' night dinner at Illios Noche! The ambiance is great - casual and comfortable yet beautiful inside. Our waitress, Jodi (or Yodi maybe?) absolutely made our experience - she was so friendly, attentive and helpful with providing suggestions for food and wine. We started with the eggplant & zucchini chips, and Y'ALL, these are something I didn't know I needed in my life. Think of a super thin, fresher version of fried pickles but less acidic and dipped in the most flavorful tzatziki sauce. Also the portion was super generous and great for splitting. They were perfection. And they brought everything out so quickly and frequently came by to fill up our waters - we were all very impressed by the service! Entree-wise, my friends got the pasta dish with chicken (I tried it and was blown away - that pasta definitely looked and tasted homemade) and the chicken caprese panini (I didn't try it but it looked awesome), and I went with the lamb souvlaki skewers with a side of Parmesan risotto (the lamb was incredibly juicy and flavorful + it came with warm pita and more delicious tzatziki, and the risotto was delicious, if not maybe just a tad too rich/creamy to eat a lot of). I already can't wait to go back and try more of their Greek and Italian specialty dishes. This place is a dark horse and a winner in my book!

We thoroughly enjoyed the food here. They served generous portions of babaganoush and hummus -- both were delicious. They also gave us complimentary lentil soup, and it was surprisingly good. For entrees, we ordered the lamb shank, which was juicy, tender, and absolutely amazing. The adana kabab was top notch with incredible flavor. The chicken shawarma and chicken kabab could have been a bit more tender, but still enjoyable overall. They also have a large selection of desserts on the menu, so definitely save some room if you can. Overall, we had a great experience at La Shish Kabob -- warm hospitality, big portions, and flavorful food. Would definitely go back!

The chicken skewers were especially great during earlier visits -- very moist, flavorful, and something we specifically came back to order again. Unfortunately, our last visit was really disappointing. The chicken was extremely overcooked and very dry compared to prior visits. The brussel sprouts were also undercooked and mostly raw. It's also worth noting they do not take reservations for parties under six, which can make planning ahead difficult during busy times. It was frustrating because we know the food can be much better based on our previous experiences. If the kitchen were more consistent, the rating would be very different.

Pair that with their juicy Greek Meatballs, and you're in possible food coma! They also boast an all-Greek wine list, which is a nice authentic touch. Monday night, half price wine by the glass or bottle, all of them on the list! Love when they do that without limitations. So we went with a glass of champagne! Because why not when it's half price! Service was excellent , and the food just awesome . So fresh and delicious. The menu here is so nice and varied with so many options. We started with the prosciutto carpaccio, paper thin prosciutto with olive oil, and fresh Parmesan and fresh greens, white balsamic and hazelnut. This was amazing, just yummy. The roasted mushrooms, come on a sliced yogurt, with verde hummus, and sumac onions. Again so flavorful and so many different things going on in this dish. Highly recommend this. The short rib bolognese. A fabulous small plate, but plenty for two . This sauce was so good with the fresh grilled bread they serve. The pasta was perfectly cooked, spinach flavored. Truffle ricotta, and crispy prosciutto on top, nice pieces of short rib too. This was an excellent dish. We were truly full so had to pass on dessert but we did get a after dinner espresso martini, called the Salud! A Spanish table toast, peppermint infused tequila, espresso, licor 43, coffee liquor and creme de cacao. Served frozen, this tasted like an Andes mint. Perfect after dinner drink. But it is rather spacious inside with lovely minimalistic and neutral vibes. The service was pretty great as we were given recommendations and our water was continuously refilled. My friends and I got the Crab Brik, Wagyu Burger, Shakshuka, and Avocado Toast. The Crab Brik came in little triangular wontons that were fried to perfection. I think real crab meat was used which is always nice. There was some aioli on the plate, but certainly not enough to dip with meal in. The Avocado Toast was recommended by our server and it was a top tier choice! It had chili dukka on it so everything from the eggs, sourdough bread, and avocados tasted very seasoned, despite the dish sounding a bit plain. They do not skimp out on the avocado here. My friend said the Wagyu Burger tasted good and I tried the Shakshuka (for the first time in my life) which tasted very tomato-y but still yummy with the bread! I think this is a cute place, especially for brunch. I would rate this place 4.5/5 stars if I could. I want to come back and try their dinner menu which has more food options.
