I ordered the rotisserie chicken with the country salad and Greek fries. My chicken had a good taste but it was dry. The sauce didn't help much. The fries old and stale tasting. The salad was good. The customer service was great. Unfortunately, the best part of my meal was the prebiotic strawberry vanilla soda. There is a little parking lot in the back with a few to go parks for Ilios. Wow! Delicious flavors. The chicken souvla is so well seasoned. Delicious every bite. The small Greek salad is very fresh. A little mushy tomatoes but works. The side of rice pilaf was great too. We love Ilios!! We have been several times and the food is always great. Fresh, flavorful and serving sizes are plentiful. The most recent time we went was our favorite - we chatted with the owner/manager Frank and he had us try out the pork - SO. GOOD. Melted in your mouth. Can't go wrong with the fresh pita, red pepper feta, giant beans, really anything on the menu. What stood out to us most was the staff. Everyone we came in contact with was lovely and so genuine. One of the other staff members gave us recommendations for our upcoming trip to Portugal. The 20 minutes we were in there picking up our dinner was the highlight of our day. Most of the time when you go into any fast casual place these days, you are barely acknowledged or helped so this was so refreshing. Food was 10/10 but the staff made our experience 11/10. read more

I come in this location all the time and while I like the food this latest experience was not the best. As a regular customer I would not expect to be charged $1 for one extra Greek dressing. That one seems very outrageous for a single shot cup worth of dressing. Then my portion of food was not what it typically it is. I was taken aback by the friendly welcome and immediately became a fan of their establishment! The place is small but the decor fills up the room to appear as though you are teleported into Greece! This visit I grabbed the falafel pita sandwich with the Greek style fries. I love the tzatziki dressing here as well as all the fresh veggies wrapped up in the pita! Although I'm not a huge French fry person, these crunchy Greek style fries are perfectly seasoned and are addicting!! This review is for the Ft. Mill location. I cannot figure out how to erase this review. Met a friend for lunch and had high hopes for this restaurant. I kept hearing the Stone Crest location was very good but this Ft. Mill location is closer to me. They were busy and I think the staff feels overwhelmed. Perhaps this may be why my pork was very dry ? The staff did not have time to answer questions since this was our first time there. They were busy cutting pita bread or working on the food assembly line. At the end, I asked for a fountain soda. I was looking forward to being able to refill my drink if needed. However, after paying for my meal and attempting to get my drink, I realized the soda was out. I informed the girl at the cash register, but she seemed frustrated. She came over, verified the soda was out, and then asked if I would take a bottled soda instead. I went ahead and did so, since it seemed too much trouble for her to refill the machine. The sides and sauce were good, but like I stated, my meat was very dry. Someone did come by our table later to ask if everything was ok. I guess it was because we ate it but I wouldn't likely return. My husband and I are vegan and he is Greek so we were excited to try this place. Falafel is one of our go-to's because it's vegan by default. Adding egg means that vegans can only have some sides or salad. The egg also didn't add anything to the texture or the taste. I hope they will consider making vegan falafel in the future. read more

Service was wonderful and I appreciated the honesty of those working the service line - they were like "you can get chicken anytime, get the spinach and feta pie." Say less. And they still gave me a sample of the chicken just to make sure I knew what they meant. And the chicken is good. Everything was good. Finding parking in South End is always tricky but there are a few visitor parking spots behind the restaurant which was my saving grace.
