Well now, they're Miss Freakin' America. The space is gorgeous. And they aced the talent competition too. I almost exclusively drink iced coffee, and I don't always love Iced Americanos. But here, they were up front about the fact that it would be an Iced Americano, when some places are sneaky about it. I appreciate that. This coffee roaster is tucked away on the side of a building and offers the best beans you will get anywhere. They roast their own in house and so far my husband and I have tried the Bantam, Mexico and Nicaragua blends and all are fantastic and so unique. They also have a small but delicious selection of baked goods to choose from but our personal favorite are the chocolate chip cookies! Then a friend of ours recommended Redding Roasters, we bought a pound to try out, and we never stopped. It's a bi-monthly event now, we stop in (OK, my husband stops in most of the time. I work a lot and don't usually have opportunities to go myself), pick up two pounds of single-origin beans, and find the will to keep going. Even though my office has free coffee, I bring my own from home. I can't be without it! And the people there are so wonderful! They're all very personable and when I get the time to stop in I love chatting with them. The selection is great, the people are great, supporting a local business is great. I hope they stick around for decades more.
