I visited this salon for a Brazilian wax because it was rated 5 stars here on Yelp, but a 5 star…read moreexperience it was not. It wasn't horrible, but it was definitely not anything special. I will say that Lex was hospitable and fast, the service only took about 30 minutes. However it was disappointing on so many levels, starting with the tacky fake plants outside. The bathroom was cute and clean, but as I walked back to the appointment room there was a bunch of junk stacked by the wall, and the appointment room was brightly lit with uncomfortable paper bedding. I am used to wax spas using nice soft linens. When my wax was over she left the room and did not offer me any sort of wipe to clean up with (as is customary in my experience) and also missed quite a lot of hair in the back. When I met her at the register and told her about this she did offer to go back in and fix it, but I really didn't want to bother with going back into that gross room and undressing again. Typically at a wax spa you would be offered a hand mirror to check before they actually leave the room and have you get dressed again. I was also disturbed by the fact that there wasn't a sink or even hand sanitizer in the room. I can only hope that she was going into the bathroom between clients to wash her hands but who knows! Anyway, definitely would not return. Not for me.

I began going here about a year and a half ago and was a bundle of nerves. I had read online…read morereviews, so I saw Alexa, who talked me through the whole procedure and was very nice and professional. I now have a wax pass and go every 4-5 weeks. I've seen a few different girls due to my changing travel schedule, and each one has been terrific. I now see Gabby and she is awesome. I never wait more than 5 minutes and the place is very clean and professional. Jordana is the manager and she has excellent customer service skills and recruits others to be the same. I purchase the Slow It Body Wash and the Glow cream and the after wax gel and I love all of them. If you ever purchase a product that you don't love, the manager stands behind your satisfaction and will make it right. They have regular promotions on services and products and they do a great job. I would not go anywhere else!

This European Wax is a consistently very mediocre experience. Due to the operations at this store I…read moreprobably won't be going back. It's not an experience that I'd like to repeat. My aesthetician was very pleasant and friendly. But the wax didn't go as it usually does. The wax was too hot. The after cream wasn't applied despite my skin being red. She didn't really check with me on any concerns - such as whether the wax was too hot or if I liked my brows. It was very speedy visit without focus on quality. There was no after work on my eyebrows with twizzers whatsoever. As always after European Wax visit I went over the work with twizzers later. No one asked me whether I liked my eyebrows or experience. Their work is always so minimalistic for being experts in waxing. The waiting room was filled upon my arrival. There were five other clients waiting, none looked pleased. At one point there were not enough chairs in the waiting room to accompany all guests. Few guests asked about their appointments running late, multiple were called to inform them about the news (with no definitive time to arrive). Some disgruntled guest called in. From the conversation it was evident that their discount wasn't applied and will not be honored (for a referral). They also were apparently burned during an appointment. One of the clients walked out with clear wax residue on her leg. I've witnessed so many problems in my short time in the lobby that it was overwhelming. Prices went up and were corrected on the menu. The salon posted new rules everywhere. No client looking for higher end-ish experience wants to be surrounded by so many rules and signs. It's not tasteful or relaxing. Here are all the new rules. There are no pictures allowed on their premises including the lobby or rooms. Guests with kids under 8 years of age must take them back to the room during the appointment. I can't even imagine how this works to be honest. There is also a rule that if you're in the bathroom, this time counts against your grace period. So it's possible that you won't be admitted to your appointment even if you're physically at the location. I practically live at different salons and I have never seen anything as strange. I didn't want to read the rules but they were everywhere! I used to like European Wax because it was a quick get in and out, nice place, but it lost its appeal. Too many problems for less than average appointments. As always, I'm not impressed with European Wax. I'd rather go somewhere else next time.

I just moved to Cleveland in August so I've been looking for a place that does eye brow threading…read morefor a while. I did look at previous reviews on Yelp and I do agree that Laila does a great job! I called on Tuesday night and she got back to me the next morning via text to schedule an appointment for the following day. Her place is not hard to find, on the 2nd floor above Starbucks in Legacy Village. Parking meters not expensive- I just put a quarter in for 30 minutes. Upon arriving, Laila greeted me and was very nice. She asked if I had had threading before or if it was my first time and I explained that I have been threading for 2 years now. She had me lay down on her table and I explained that I wanted my eye brows kind of thin but since my eye brows are kind of straight I wanted a small arch towards the tail end. She worked very quick and paid attention to plucking the stray hairs. After she was done she showed me a mirror to look and if i wanted any changes she could do it as well. I am very happy about the threading and how my eyes turned out. Just for this one session it was $27. Granted it is waaaayyy more expensive than what I'm use to (I paid $7 + $3 tip in Houston) I would recommend Laila's business to any lady who's interested in getting threaded.

Thank you to my fabulous massage therapist, Angie for the wonderful massage and conversation! I am…read moreglad that I found this hidden gem via Yelp as I never would have driven past it in its unassuming location. I am dealing with low back and upper thigh pain (I can't seem to remember to stretch before my daily jogs and am paying the price!) and needed some temporary relief so I booked a 50 minute warm stone massage session about a month beforehand which cost me $95. This pricing seems to be within range of what I would expect nowadays. Overall, the stone concept was fun but, next time, I would like to try the Sports Massage as I think that would be exactly what I need for my aging body. I am happy that I got to try a Warm Stone massage for the first time and see what the fuss is all about though! After my massage, I was gifted a little goodie bag as a first time visitor and was shown around the speakeasy next door, which has a gorgeously decorated, cozy vibe. I did not order any of the drinks so I cannot judge on that element. I plan to book another appointment soon!

The vibe is pleasant and I am always offered a beverage. However, I had one bad experience with a manicure by "new talent". She didn't round the corners of my nails and they were sharp; the polish started peeling on some nails after only 4 days. There is a lot of turnover of staff there and I have not had consistency.
