I've been going to Phil for about 7-8 years now, and I can honestly say Phil has earned my full trust, and that's saying a lot coming from a Libra with trust issues! Phil is one of the kindest and most genuine people I've ever met in this industry. He always goes the extra mile, literally! There have been times when he's personally driven me, or asked one of his employees to take me to the rental car place, and when it's time to return the rental, his shop even handles that for me. Who does that anymore? That kind of care and thoughtfulness is hard to find. Over the years, I've been in a few accidents (none my fault), and every single time, Phil has made the process so easy and stress-free. My car always comes back looking brand new. He communicates clearly, finishes on time, and treats you like family, not just another customer. His staff is just as wonderful, respectful, friendly, and always willing to help. You can tell they all take pride in their work and truly care about their customers. But what really touched me was something that happened recently. I asked him for help because my car battery died, and he literally drove all the way to my house early in the morning (on his birthday!) to help me change it. I honestly felt so embarrassed because I didn't know how to do it myself (my brothers were there but didn't' know what to do), but he didn't make me feel bad at all. Looking at the headlight restoration before/after pictures on Image auto made me become a customer. My headlights on my 2008 CLS 550 were very foggy and Phil ( owner) brought them back to life. His employees were at work so he took it upon himself to do it which most owners would make you wait, but Phil didn't. Very nice guy to talk to and very knowledgeable about cars. Growing up reading Super Street and Import Tuner, I always dreamed of a car that would make the cover. In 2020 I'm still dreaming of it, but more importantly I wanted my car to be worked on by those I read about...Image Auto Body is just that. My wide body Honda S2000 track car needed some much love after 5 years of ownership having been beat up at local tracks and being mostly raw fiberglass, started to show some age. Remembering my younger days seeing many S2000s featured in the above mentioned magazines, Image Auto Body was a consistent name that came up. Figured I at least checked it out. I made an appointment with Phil, very down to Earth and entertaining gentleman who took care of me 100% of the way. He gave me a very reasonable quote for the work I wanted done which included fiberglass repair of the body kit, refittment of panels, side mirror replacements and a full respray in a new color going from black to midnight pearl. I handed over the keys that same day and 2 weeks later I was blown away by the work done. The attention to detail from Phil and his team is insane. The car looked great before sending it in as said by passer-bys. But once Image Auto Body got their hands on it, it was a completely different car! Panel gaps were smaller, rough fiberglass is as smooth as glass, zero over spray anywhere, and the extra effort to fix my exhaust as to not burn or melt my newly painted bumper. Phil went over the car with me to make sure I was happy and I gladly turned my credit card over to pay for what I think was a great bargain. Soon after Phil and I were chatting it up for a good 15 to 20 mins about how to take care of the new paint, old projects we once hand, and just random things. Very approachable gentleman. To confirm other yelp reviewers below this shop uses refurbished and defective parts and passed them off to me as new with the authentic parts mark up. It was only until we went to the dealer we verified that their second hand parts they passed off as new was the source of the problem. We took our automobile here 7 times due to a break sound/squeek they could not fix. Me and my wife spent a good chunk of vacation and time coming back here over and over again. The hurdles they put us through and the countless excuses and explanations they gave us. It all kept leading to the "replace transmission". Me and my family took our vehicles here since Phil's father, and then brother worked here and it was sad to move on to the dealer shop. I believe Phil is a great and caring guy, but his partner, or person below him (bald pinoy) and his lead mechanic were awful to me and my wife. read more

After a terrible experience at another shop, I got a recommendation to check this place out. These guys are super friendly, very knowledgeable, and get the job done quickly. My driver-side door had a huge dent in it from a hit and run. My car is a 2016 Honda Civic, and the first shop was having a hard time because of how new the car was. But instead of working on it, they just let it sit there for almost a month. After moving my car to Image, they ordered a new door within 15 minutes of me dropping it off! They finished all the work on the car in a week, detailed it, and my car looked shinier and cleaner than the day I bought it. I originally came here to get a spoiler put on my car. I was also asking about some custom body work and got a good feeling from the owner Phil. Fast forward to a little over a year and my car was in a hit and run accident. The damage was sever and had I went through insurance they most likely would have totaled the car. I brought the car down to Image Auto Body and paid out of pocket. When I brought the car in my drivers side fender was bent beyond repair, my bumper was barely hanging on, my head lights were busted, and there was even some frame damage in the engine bay section. The amount of work that it would take to bring the car back to life was a lot, but they got it done in about a week or so. The car drove as straight as I first got it and you could never tell it was in an accident. I believe the total bill was about $2,600 which is good for what needed to be done, including straightening and making the frame sturdy again and painting. I went here to get my fender and front bumper repaired after it got hit (while parked) by an unlicensed/uninsured driver. I was met by Phil when I first came in and I must say he made the process of getting the car repaired really smooth and tries his best to make his customer happy. When my fiancée started the insurance process, she brought the Audi in and Hertz was supposed to have a rental car ready for her. Instead of dropping her off on right away, Phil called Hertz to make sure there was a car waiting for her. After finding out there weren't any at that location, he started calling other multiple Hertz locations to try to find one. Unfortunately none was available and she had to wait the next day but he ended up dropping her off to our house. After the repair was done, we came by and looked at the car. The paint match was perfect but I noticed the line between the fender and bumper wasn't lined up. I told Phil about it and he said he'd do it over again to make sure it was lined up. Came back next day and it was perfect. I was surprised his guys were able to save the bumper and fender and pulled it out while also making the lines line up perfect. Again, the paint match was perfect as well. If you are planning to get any body work/paint done I'd highly recommend Phil and his crew. Make sure to thoroughly check your car before driving it off. They don't check their work for quality. I have my car painted at Image. My nephew pick it up without checking the car. When I check the car there were 2 lumps on the bumper. A tool was left on my car, the inside panel on my rear door was dirty. They fixed the paint until the lumps are no longer visible but you can still feel it when you run your hand on the bumper. read more
