He was great about communicating with me, even when there were hold ups with parts. It took a while (Tesla's fault, not theirs) and he kept me up to date and was super friendly and explained everything clearly when we went to pick up the car. Also, the bill was covered by the other insurance company, but we were very nervous about the price climbing to the point that the car would be totaled (it's a really old Tesla, 10+years), and Aaron stayed in touch with us about it and somehow stayed under the threshold. You hope you'll never need them, but if you do, definitely go to JP Auto Body!

In addition to the clearly visible collision area in front of the wheel well, he pointed out a second spot in back of the wheel well, paint on my wheel rim and more damage inside the door frame. AUGH!! My poor car... David sent a detailed estimate to my insurance company and after approval my car went in for about 2 weeks. As you can see, it came out looking better than original with highly-polished tires. So all positive, no negative, and rock on if you need your car repaired.

This just was not my month when it came to my Cadillac Escalade truck. A few months ago, someone rear ended my truck up in the City after a doctor's appointment. Got that back after $5,000.00 damage. Repair shop did a good job as I had one of my tenants repair shop do the work. Several months later, my gorgeous truck was forced out of the car wash track in San Mateo (something really wrong there). It was set up to get to the repair shop in a few days; when I was parked at the Rite Aid store on Concar, San Mateo when to my shock, a young boy happened to hit my driver's door with their newly purchased car door. I thought this is CRAZY, what do I have a sign on my car, "Come and get me"...? As I approached the owner, she asked if I would let a family relation who works at AW Collision handle the repairs on the truck. Against my better judgment, I agreed to do that. First I had to send the truck into repairs for the car wash repairs to take place, then to AW Collision. I think that I had so much experience with repair shops lately, I was a bit curt with AW when I called to set up the repairs. John, the Body Shop Manager couldn't have been more nice nor more professional as he was. They worked off my schedule, stating they needed at least two days for my 3 stage paint repair to be done. When I dropped it off, exchanged keys, they stated they would also detail my truck and drop off my truck at my home when it was finished, a day EARLY. I really don't feel they went the extra mile because, I sensed that was their day to day service they handled normally to everyone that comes in for service. It was extremely painless and I was absolutely thrilled with the repair. Nothing but total 'kudos' for AW Collision and to John, et al; for handling this repair so flawlessly. read more

I don't even know where to start, this is a stressful time for me...when it rains it really does pours! however, I'm appreciative of Julio & Allan, and AW in general. Allan for taking my vehicle and I in after one phone call (Honda of Colma gave me his information). Julio for being my First point of contact since the drop off. Julio took care of my insurance's field adjuster, the negotiation, paperwork and kept his calm throughout the process. Julio was up front and would explain further about details I did not understand. I was given updates every week, photos of the progress and reassurance (I found this very helpful because my anxiety heightened because of this whole case so I really appreciated the reassurance). My car arrived to AW DAMAGED, was Almost deemed a total lost, but they were able to repair and make it new again. When I say 'damaged', the frame was kissing my wheel And I couldn't not have passengers and it felt unsafe. It was terrible. Anyways, Upon pick up Julio told me that my vehicle has warranty from their shop now, which gives me a peace of mind. I do recommend them and I've given my support system updates about my experience with Julio and AW throughout this process When they ask how I'm doing. These guys are my superheroes! They saved the day, which was a pretty awful after someone bashed in the window of my brand new minivan to steal my purse during a jog around Lake Merced. After spending hours trying to file a police report, canceling credit cards (excruciatingly painful when you don't have the cc number to dial in) and dealing with insurance, this staff was AMAZING to deal with. David was the consummate professional; he arranged to have me driven down to Enterprise to pick up a rental but because I had no driver's license, the rental agents wouldn't let me have a car! David reassured me that AW would help me out... and boy, did they ever! That's when John stepped forward and let me borrow his personal Lexus for 2 weeks while the work was being done! Wow! How nice is that? After feeling so violated from being robbed, the staff at AW reminded me that there are good people are out there. The work was perfect- scratches and gouges in the paint... gone. The entire inside panel had to be replaced.. the car was detailed, I could see the staff took great pride in its work. My van looked like it had just been driven off the showroom floor once again. I took my car into AW Collision in Colma about two months ago and as always they did an outstanding job. I have relied on this body shop to take care of my vehicles since many years ago. Previously they were named Serramonte Auto Plaza Body shop and back then I received excellent service. David Zeidan was my estimator and John Manokian is in management. The services have become even better. They have been extremely helpful and I can count on them to take care of business quickly and diligently. I highly recommend going to them directly to take care of your vehicles. The dents, paint job, new parts have been excellent. I hear stories of other people's experiences with other body shops and sometimes they're not trustworthy. If you want to go to a body shop you can trust that will do an incredible job and get you vehicle in and out this is the place to go. I had an exceptional experience at this auto body shop! Julio was incredibly communicative, thorough, and polite throughout the entire process. He kept me updated every step of the way, and I was even surprised to receive a text the moment they got my car, asking if I was doing okay. (Who does that?!) The backstory: I was in an accident when a guy in a big truck ran a stop sign while I was about 90% through the intersection. It was a bit of a scary moment, but I'm so grateful for how the shop handled everything. They even saved my license plate frame, which I honestly didn't care much about, but I was really impressed that they took the time to do so. I've been to a few auto shops throughout the Bay Area, but this one goes above and beyond--easily a 15/10 service! When I picked up my car, it looked brand new! Not only was the repair work flawless, but my car was washed and vacuumed, which was a nice touch. From my very first interaction, John demonstrated an excellent level of professionalism and customer care. He thoroughly explained the entire repair process that my car needed, making sure I understood every step and answered all my questions patiently. His communication was efficient and outstanding; he kept me in the loop constantly, so I never once felt stressed or wondered about the status of my vehicle. While waiting, John invited me to relax in their lovely waiting room, which felt more like a spa lounge! It had coffee, tea, a TV, and (the best part) a spa massage chair that definitely helped melt away the stress of my car situation. Awesome service at AW Collision. The employees are very helpful and they are nice. My rep was Marvin, and he did a very good job with my car in noticing the details of what needed to be fixed. They helped me with getting a rental car while my care was at their Shop. The manager Joe Shahbazi is very attentive. He cares about his customers. He goes above and beyond the current repair work to make customers happy. My keyless entry key is out of battery. And, although it is not his job to change the battery for me, he offered to reimburse me the cost of battery replacement!!! I call that above and beyond. He also offered a free detail, not just after they fixed my car, but a second detail in one month later (after the repairs). The repair job was beautiful also. They have a beautiful blue and yellow talking parrot named Bono who sometimes says "hello". She is very cute!. All in all, the best place to take your car for auto body repairs! read more

This place rules. While at Lexus of Serramonte for a battery check, I asked for a body shop recommendation. They gave me Darren's card at AW Collision and I am so so grateful. I contacted Darren while I was waiting for my service, and he offered to walk down to the dealership to inspect my car's damage and provide an estimate (who does that?!). He came immediately and was very helpful in explaining my options. He offered to repair my damages at an INSANELY low cost and even said he'd provide the touch up paint (so I didn't have to buy any from the dealership). Took the car into the shop the following week and promised repairs were done in under 2 hours. Car looks GREAT!! Darren is seriously the nicest, most accommodating and efficient person. So this is a great place to get some car work done but when it comes to the people handling your car it's total bs! I was here about two months ago My estimator was grace and all she ever did was push me off. I end up speaking with the manager Joe and he was a total jerk. Cut me off multiple times and told me it's not his problem and that I needed to come and get my car or else I would have to pay for storage. Let's keep in mind this is my first time having my car worked on from an accident so I was hoping everything would go smoothly but apparently not. Grace told me my insurance company State Farm would be a hassle to get ahold of.... Well that wasn't true because grace was the one hard to get a hold of. All I have to say is.. I am not recommending this place to any of my family and friends ! If a manager can't stay professional how the hell can any of the employees do so. read more

What can I say Great service. Alan and Daron made it happen. My car was being serviced. It sat for a month due to Progressive insurance not responding back to AW Collision center in a timely fashion. My Hybrid 2007 battery died. I was given two weeks of car rental coverage to aid me while waiting to raise funds to replace the battery. Alan even had cost reduced so I could afford the new battery. I take care of my mother who resides with me and recovered from cancer. I had no way to take her to Kimo Treatment or doctor appointments without a car and I still had to go to work in San Francisco although we live in the East bay. I was apprehensive at first because it is hard to find a good quality shop to fix your car , but after talking to AW Collision estimator, Miguel Martin , I knew that I had come to the right place . he assured me that he would take care of everything with the insurance company and that my car would be as good as knew. You would think that after reading all the previous glowing reviews, that you would know pretty much what to expect from this place, but they somehow find a way to still surprise you with the very best in Customer Service. I was not the happiest camper after someone sideswiped my car and left a big dent and paint scratches all along the side but after meeting Darren (Diano) from AW, he really made me feel so much better and was extremely reassuring that all would be fine in no time at all. He made sure I got an alternate vehicle in the meantime and four days later, everything was as it should be. I could not be happier with their attention to detail and his sincere concern for me. I just want to say "THANK YOU SO MUCH" to Mr. Miguel Martin for fixing our car. Our car was in a undrivable condition when we brought it to him. the back and front bumper was really ruined by the accident and I told him that if he cannot put it back the way it is just let me know. Miguel did not promise anything but he said he will try his best. After all the waiting he finally call us to pick up the car yesterday and My husband was so happy to see our car back to how it looks like and even better. I needed my front bumper replaced and was recommended AW Collision by my local Toyota dealership. I'm so glad I ended up with AW! I worked with Tristan, who, along with other staff, was super communicative and transparent throughout the process. Estimated pricing (which I thought was super reasonable) was communicated with me early on, as well as the ETA for finishing repairs. Everything was done in a timely manner, and the new bumper looks so good! I also got my car back infinitely cleaner than it had been, both inside and out, which was a nice surprise. Tristan even let me know that there was a recall on the paint for my car (I had no idea!), and he offered to repaint it if he found any peeling. This is NOT your typical collision center. Every time I went there, I was treated with tremendous care and respect...and quickly. Each of their staff are very clean, neat and well-spoken. They each took the time to explain everything that would take place in my repair process and with my insurance company. And they always answered every question. After the initial inspection by my insurance company, THEY further inspected my damage, found further damage, and argued with my insurance company to cover the new-found damage. They phoned me several times to keep be abreast of the timing of completion. My car (2014 Hyundai Equus) was returned in perfect condition...and to my great surprise, they had thoroughly detailed the interior and exterior! read more

After searching for a good body shop due to an unfortunate accident that damaged my well kept car. I was referred to AW Collision and was given Tre's number. After speaking with him and explaining the situation I was in need of, Tre walked me through the whole process and clearly explained the best and worst case scenario of restoring my car back to it's original condition. Throughout the time it was in the shop Tre kept me up to speed with everything. My car unfortunately was to damaged to restore and the why was clearly explained. I am sure I made the right decision trusting the experts opinion. This place is absolutely amaaaazing!!! I will never take my car anywhere else!! the staff is awesome. Allan Rivera, Michael Ng, and David.. These guys really know what they are doing and most importantly they want to make sure the work is done right before they return your car to you. They set everything up for me,,the rental and the insurance stuff as well. I went to pick up my car and the detail job that was done was not just passing a vacuum over the carpet,,it was the best detail job I have ever had,,from the carpets to the vents that im pretty sure were cleaned with Q-tips!! my car was pretty much brand new all over again!! super impressed and would recommend these guys to everyone anyday!! My 2013 Camry was in a collision at the beginning of April that damaged the front end extensively. After driving the car slowly home, through side streets, I called Joseph Shahbazi the manager at AW Collision in Serramenote and asked for his help with the car repairs. He asked for a couple photos of the car and after reviewing the damage, recommended that the car not be driven on the highway to Serramonte for safety reasons, which made perfect sense to me, given the amount of damage. Joseph arranged for a tow truck which arrived early the next morning and took the car to their service center. Who does that anymore? That kind of care and thoughtfulness is hard to find. Over the years, I've been in a few accidents (none my fault), and every single time, Phil has made the process so easy and stress-free. My car always comes back looking brand new. He communicates clearly, finishes on time, and treats you like family, not just another customer. His staff is just as wonderful, respectful, friendly, and always willing to help. You can tell they all take pride in their work and truly care about their customers. But what really touched me was something that happened recently. I asked him for help because my car battery died, and he literally drove all the way to my house early in the morning (on his birthday!) to help me change it. I honestly felt so embarrassed because I didn't know how to do it myself (my brothers were there but didn't' know what to do), but he didn't make me feel bad at all. I wasn't planning to keep the car for long but needed to make it through rainy season until I got a replacement. For $40, Cristian placed silicone around the windshield to block water from getting in. It worked! Took it to the car wash and no leaks. You'll have to purchase the silicone and bring it for him to use. This is a temp fix that doesn't look aesthetically nice, but it's affordable and keeps the car functional until a replacement can be bought. That allowed time and mental space to not feel pressured to purchase another car quickly or to make pricey auto body repairs for an older car that wouldn't be worth it. I hope this helps someone out there. When I was looking around I couldn't really find a solution. I kept telling Cristian I went here first rather than a bunch of auto body shops and windshield repair places that empathized but didn't provide a true temp solution.

This was my second time bringing my vehicle to Precision Auto Body & Detail. They have always done…read moregood work, or so I thought. Overall, the quality of their service and what they guarantee is spot on, but the attention to detail is lacking, heavily. For $400 I should be getting top-notch service. I should be the VIP of your establishment for the day! And I wasn't. Honestly, it's just simple things that shouldn't be overlooked that truly matter. What does a $400 "Complete Auto Detailing" get you? PROS: Exterior - Wash, Dry, Clay Bar, Wax, Protective Sealant, Wheel cleaning, and Tire shine. Your vehicle will glisten almost to perfection in a way that is showroom quality. Interior - As they claim, "a complete shampoo of the interior including the carpets, seats and floormats." And this is where it stops. CONS: Honor the time agreement! I booked my appointment on Tuesday 3/17 for Friday 3/20 and was told to drop my vehicle off between 8 and 8:30am. So I arrived at 815a on the day of my appointment, only to find that the front office door was locked, dark and unoccupied on the inside. It's not a good business practice to tell clients to arrive or be somewhere at a certain time and you, yourself, are not there. Exterior - No attention to detail for the small things. It's easy to spray on car washing foam and then pressure wash it off. But when you overlook the wheel wells that's an issue. The area that a spray wash just doesn't get it. Don't call yourself a "detailing shop" if you're not going to take the time to look at and address the minor details. My vehicle is White, and just like a Black car, it shows the dirt along with everything else. Had you been paying attention, you would have and should have caught this. Don't be afraid to get down on your hands and knees and put some "elbow grease" scrubbing effort into thoroughly cleaning ALL the parts that needed to be cleaned. If there's paint and clearcoat, it shouldn't be overlooked. Interior - While they also clean and wipe the door panels, dashboard or door jambs, this is where they fell short with the quality of service by my standards. My interior gas cap door was not cleaned/wiped. The engine hood was not opened nor was it wiped and cleaned either. (See pictures) It's not like I was asking for a steam cleaning of the engine bay, but nonetheless, it's a door with a crease and hinges. If your claim is "we wipe the door panels and door jambs," under the hood shouldn't have been overlooked. Again, details matter. Honestly, you didn't even try and make an attempt and it shows. The sad thing about this whole process compared to other detail shops is they don't "Deliver" your car to you. They don't walk you out to your vehicle and go over the details of everything that they did and inquire about your level of satisfaction. Because if it's not right they'll fix it. Unfortunately at Precision Auto Body & Detail you just walk in, pay, get your keys back, and then off you go. On to the next one. I've been to other auto detail shops that treat you like royalty from start to finish that are equally comparable in price. Maybe I'll spend the extra $200 somewhere else going forward, that I know for certain won't overlook the simple and minor details.

Hermes is the best person that we have dealt with when it comes to car repairs. In moments like these you need people that are super knowledgeable but most importantly empathetic. Hermes hits all of this points and his communication is top notch. He has helped us both 3 times so far and has left our cars brand new. I hope no one has to go to the body shop to get their cars repaired but if there is any place I recommend is Precision Body Shop!
