The guy that came to give me the quote asked me how I heard of Image Pros so he could adjust quote accordingly. I told him I saw good reviews on Angieslist and he said "oh good, thats our best rate". He gave me a price for $125 ($95 for sealcoating, $30 for patches). Not the lowest price I've seen as I have received fliers in my mailbox from 5 other companies in the past year for sealcoating. Other companies had quoted anywhere from $66 to $85, although im sure this didn't account for the crack patching which cost an extra $30 with Image Pros. Im happy with the price for the quality of the work done. They did a clean job, used patch to take care of the cracks, and there are no lines/striping like i've seen in some other sealcoating jobs. The main problem I had was in coordinating the job. They originally scheduled the job for the day after the 4th of July extended holiday weekend (Tuesday July 5th). I went home at noon that day for lunch and saw nothing had been done. I called and asked what time they would arrive. I was told they would be out in the afternoon. Got home from work at 5 and still nothing. They called me at 5:30 and said they would reschedule to Friday because it looked like it may rain the next day. I was home from work all day on Friday the 9th. Called in the morning to remind them that were scheduled for that day. They said they would be there late afternoon. Again, got a call a little after 5pm saying that their truck had broke down and needed to reschedule to the following Monday the 12th. The woman asked me how this worked for me, and I told her it "wasnt as good as today, I was home all day from work". But I again rescheduled. I asked her what time specifically they would do the job on Monday, the woman told me I could call Monday morning to find if it would be done in the morning or afternoon. I elected not to call and hope it would just be done sometime that day. The job was in fact complete when I arrived home at noon on Monday, July 12th. They blocked off the drive with string and neon colored flags as hoped. Good final product, just seemed unprofessional in coordination. Also I told the woman on the phone in a prior conversation that I had a coupon for 10% off from angieslist.com. So my final price was $112.50. In my opinion, the guy who quoted the job originally should have applied this discount when he asked how I heard of the company and he said that was their best discount. (unless he did apply the discount unbeknownst to me and I received the discount twice, although I doubt this is the case). read more

Blew off two appointments with me and never let me know he wasn't going to be coming! Did not respond to text message! I have a driveway with two high spots and one low spot? I had this company scheduled to sealcoat a driveway. It rained in the area the morning of the scheduled day but not at my house. I received a phone call to cancel the appointment and reschedule it, the earliest date was 2 weeks out, so I cancelled this company completely. As I stood outside looking at my DRY driveway I became curious as to exactly why they couldn't sealcoat, so I called them and asked. On speaking with the office the reason I was given as to why they couldn't sealcoat was "because it rained.". At this point I hung up. Within 5 minutes I received a call from Robert Stevens wo stated "I hear you had a problem with one of the girls in the office?". I told him "no, I'm having a problem with your company!". I went on trying to explain that it had not rained at my house and my displeasure with being canceled and pushed out 2 weeks. While attempting to explain this Robert said "would you SHUT UP and listen to me!!!"!!! At this point he was told EXACTLY what he could go do (use your imagination)! He IMMEDIATELY called me back and was again told EXACTLY what he could go do and I hung up. He AGAIN called me back and was once again told what he could go do and that if he called me again I was contacting the police. He finally stopped calling. I really wanted to like the work they performed, but the end result was mediocre/poor at best. Especially for the almost 20K we spent. We had a concrete driveway, sidewalk and front porch replaced - the driveway cracked all across three sections within 18 months. The concrete patio turned out ok initially but the stain was flaking and chipping within a year. They also got the concrete mix all over the siding, patio door/screen, and windows - what a colossal mess. And it took forever to get them to clean the patio door and replace the damaged screen. Customer service for the landscape work was great and plants that had perished over the winter were replaced. On the flip side, customer service for the concrete work was non-existent; phone calls and emails returned months later only after pestering them about the poor workmanship. If you like mediocre quality and lackluster customer service, this could be the place for you. Call around, get lots of quotes and check out previous work and references. We didn't. read more

I hired Image Pro's to pave a driveway for a new house. Before the installation, I was told that they needed only a few feet access into my garage and I therefore cleaned out space and left the doors open. After the driveway was finished, I noticed cracks in the concrete of my garages floor extending well beyond the midpoint where their double barrel paver had driven. After noticing this I contacted Image Pro's and the contractor Glenn came out to see the damage. He was a nice individual but ultimately denied any fault attributing blame to my home's builder and the quality of concrete. For the record, issues like this can easily be avoided by laying down plywood first. This is a common practice in the Chicagoland area where I'm originally from. At this point he recommended I either (1) install an epoxy coating for a cost or (2) fill the contraction joints and cracks with a self-leveling caulk. I opted for the self-leveling caulk option and Glenn scheduled time to do this. Unfortunately, once this work was done, the esthetic of my garage was even worse as the caulk was either insufficiently applied, uneven, or overflowing above the threshold onto the existing face of concrete. It was by no means professional work. I again contacted Image Pro's to discuss the quality of work. At this point, I requested money off my original invoice to compensate me for the equipment and time needed to fix the caulk job that Glenn had done. This house was new construction, and the garage was therefore spotless before Image Pro's did their work. I wish I could upload images to reveal the damaged concrete and caulk work to substantiate my statements. Ultimately, my experiences with the contractor Glenn were most displeasing as there is irreparable damage to my house. At best, any work within reason will aid the esthetics of the damage - not fix it. I will credit Image Pro's, and Brianna from their main office, for their consideration and assistance throughout the transaction. They were very understanding and listened to my concerns in a way that led to an agreeable resolution. read more

Owner showed on time, took measurements, we briefly discussed the rest of the extensive concrete and landscape work I want done and he told me he would email my quote in a few days........almost three weeks later, I have not heard a word back. If the owner doesn't have enough professionalism to deliver a simple quote on time, how could you expect the work to be done on time and well? Used then to lay a concrete walkway and driveway ribbon as well as plan and landscape our front yard. Con: driveway ribbon cracked within 2 weeks of installation. They were never able to do an adequate repair and the cracks are still very noticeable and after 3 winters there are more. Sidewalk is holding up but the front step is sinking. Many landscape plants were inappropriate for the area planted ( sun vs. shade) and did not work for the intended use ( did not plant the right thyme for in between flagstones). The manager of the job would not call me back when I made several calls asking him to. The concrete driveway was poured 3 inches off of where I asked (how do you correct that)? Installed a new sidewalk. For some reason, their finisher scraped the wet concrete with a trowel, as if he meant to damage the walk, then they left, leaving it to dry that way. That was about 3 months ago. Now we have this horrible brush mark from his trowel on the walk and no one will offer any solution nor come out to try to make it better.
